We enjoyed our stay, rooms very nice. But, because we do like to enjoy new things we tried the hotel food options, expensive. We will take a three mile ride down the road before we pay 30.00 dollars for a buffet and my wife ordered a plate from the menu that cost 30.00 and was just-ok. The price I have paid and will pay, but the food was just ok. One more observation, when I booked I had a inside room with a view, when arrived we had a room that over looked the parking lot. Went on the Palmer tour and visited Garden of the Gods... nice area and things to do.

We had booked before and the hotel does not disappoint. Excellent facilities, always consistent quality, very reasonable prices. Quality without pretentiousness in pricing.

We loved our stay at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort the only problem we had is our stay wasn't long enough. Loved the beds.

Very nice room. Nice area. Beautiful view. Staff at front desk very pleasant and helpful. Loved the make-up mirror in the separate vanity, but could have used an extra wastebasket. Maid service a bit disappointing--did not replace dirty drinking glasses each day. But otherwise would consider staying there again.

I have an amazing stay!!!!!

Staying off-season in January, the resort was quiet and felt like we had it to ourselves. Nice fitness facilities too. Wonderful rooms and service, and the main building is just breathtakingly beautiful with the huge windows, fireplaces and mountain vista views. Check your credit card afterward though - the resort accidentally charged my Visa for the room even though I purchased through Hotels.com. They apologized and reversed the charge when I called though.

I'll definitely recommend the place. Front Desk area ambience is really good, during thanksgiving, found it very festive. Breakfast is free for kids. Very caring and professional service at the front desk. We needed two rooms on the 3rd floor in the same lodge with great views and we had called in advance with that request. Instead of the usual "sorry, this is all we have left" in other hotels and giving up, we were pleased to see Stacy engage another colleague and together they worked the computer and house keeping for 15 minutes and got us the rooms that we wanted. The food at the 3 restaurants were good. The patio surrounded by glass with the open fire and great view was my favorite place. Also the doors to our rooms opened towards the inside corridor like a hotel (not outside like a motel). Rooms were spacious with walk in closets. Room had refrigerator. Microwave is available on demand. Room coffee was awesome. Royal Gorge and Cave of the Winds are reasonably close.

The door to our hotel room would not latch unless you slammed it very. Also, they chose Friday night to refinish the hardwood floors in the lobby which meant the bar was closed down. It took them 30 minutes after we arrived 2 locate the reservation we had made through hotels.com.

It was incredible her! Much nicer than I expected, in a great location to Seven Falls and Garden of the Gods. We had brunch here and that was very delicious. I just wish we were here for more than one night!

For a family with small children I would strongly reconsider booking this hotel . Upon arrival, in 25 degree weather, we walked into the lobby to check in. Of course we unpacked most our things, brought our kids inside, only to find out our room was in no way connected to the beautiful lobby/restaurant/meeting room part of the hotel. Instead we have to get back in the car and drive at least a mile to the very farthest building where our room was located. I would call this a glorified motel. The door to your room is located outside. ALL the hallways are outside. Your room is completely by itself, in no way connected to anything else. To go and check our the restaurants etc. at the hotel you must bundle yourself and your kids up, strap them in the car seats and drive to the lobby. It's was pretty time consuming and not relaxing like I hoped. Also with small children like mine, they like to be able to move around. Being in a separate, outside building you have literally no place to go and stretch your legs unless it's outside in the freezing weather. Also when I questioned the receptionist about where our room was located (I was genuinely surprised this wasn't a normal hotel with indoor hallways to rooms) she was VERY rude and said the "main building only has 2 restaurants and a bunch of meeting rooms" . Now I see that isn't entirely true.

We really loved this hotel and will be going back but our particular room just had a few issues in the bathroom that hopefully are not an indication of the entire hotel. There was several spots in the shower that were moldy and I am a bit of a cleanliness freak, especially about bathrooms and so I was disappointed that with a hotel of this caliber there was any problem with this at all. I didn't let my son take a bath because of it, so he had to shower and it was ok. There was also a sticky spot on the floor in the bathroom under the vanity. Hopefully, it was just a problem with this particular room because the rest of the room and hotel was very nice and clean.

We were upgraded to a mountain view which was very nice. Thanks to the receptionist :-) We stayed in the middle of the lodge on the 3rd floor so it was very quite. Feel like noone was around us. It was cold during the time we go so there's not much to do. Wish the aquatics center (indoor pool) opened longer (closed at 7 pm). Overall very good experience there. We would stay there again for sure.

The room was beautiful, but being on bottom floor was pretty noisy. The door had to be slammed to get them to lock.

All except for the Beds, that are to soft and gave My wife and I both back aches, the place is Wonderful.

Checkin attendant was friendly, but rude in that she interrupted our conversation several times to answer the phone (and didn't put callers on hold, but talked to them as she was mouthing things to me!). At the aquatic center, the indoor pool was great, but outdoor pool had scum floating in the corners. Our room was very comfortable. Great location.

Stayed here because it had a full gym and I work out on a daily basis. But found gym to be under construction and very difficult to use with lots of stuff not working, no water on several days and provided temp water system empty, was very dissaponted. Also our room was flooded by upstairs people and they wanted us to pack up and move everything out a 6:00 am. they did clean up everything promptly but was a big issues as we needed the bathroom at that time and we could not use. They offer to comp us for our trouble but they never did and we had to almost beg for it. they could of done much better. Also everything is very far away, have to walk alot.

Beautiful setting, Willing but unprofessional staff @ the desk, we were given the worst possible room, facing the wall, in perhaps one of the most beautiful settings in the USA. There were plenty of rooms availalble. I ask to be moved it was not a problem. This is a consistant issue w/ Hotels.com

Nice resort! The room was pretty standard--nice features, especially the lighting and the mini-fridge. Not nearly enough bathroom/mirror space. A bit light on storage space for clothes but we managed. Standard room would fit 2-3 people easily. For a family of 4, not so much. The main lodge was very nice, with good decor, spacious restaurant, bar, and game room areas. Plenty of nice touches. The golf course was excellent, and the aquatic center was very nice. Did not use the Health Club facilities, which appeared to have some construction going on. Plenty of tennis courts, sand volleyball, basketball, etc... Did not eat in the restaurant, as it seemed quite pricey. The rooms could've been better soundproofed. But no major complaints. Would go back!

Hotel is in perfect location for all local attractions. Resort is easy to navigate. Did have a problem with air conditioner forming ice on coils. Maintance worker came out in about ten minute and de-iced the coils and was finished in 15 minutes. Hotel is clean. Bed is comfortable and smells clean. Food taste great at all locations on property. I will plan a stay here next time. Rates are high but worth it.

The resort was beyond expectations. We had a comfortable room overlooking the mountains, resorts golf course and lake. So many amenenties included with our stay... Wonderful outdoor swimming pool, free use of paddle boats and kayaks. Kids played pool and K'Nect in the lounge while waiting for our dinner, which was good and reasonable priced. Highly recommend this resort.

My husband and I stayed at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort recently. We were very happy with everything! The room was very clean and comfortable. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant for one breakfast buffet and one dinner buffet, and the food was fabulous, but a bit pricey. The location of the resort was very convenient to all the attractions we wanted to see. We would definitely stay at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort again!

Very comfortable and beautiful view. Didn't hurt that the weather was gorgeous too.

The resort was very lovely and we enjoyed ourselves. The fitness center was wonderful and even included classes at no additional cost so check it out first thing if that is something important to you. The room was nice and the beds were a softer type which I just loved with views of the Cheyenne Mountains. It's located at the south end of the city. The resort was a family friendly place and I would stay there again when in Colorado Springs.

Off season...loud "guest" on patio outside bar...spewing expletives w/ her son....empty beer bottles on vacant tables....Our rm was on the second floor....could hear people walking in the room above and slamming drs....entire faucet in sink in bathroom was loose...exterior grounds seemed "tired" in need of spucing up. Nice view from veranda of room.

A bit over priced. Better for conventions rather than leisure stay

Beautiful resort. Great common area with billiards, fireplace and WII stations to keep the entire family happy. Fitness center large and undergoing a facelift. Nicely decorated rooms, spacious and comfortable.
