Super 8 Knoxville North/Powell - פאוול

Due to past Super 8 experiences, I reluctantly decided to stay here for a 3 night stay a few days ago. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel! Our room was very clean, with no weird smells. Staff was friendly as well. Only complaints would be that the bathroom in our room was SO small and breakfast kinda sucked. Other than that, great hotel and location!!!

Pretty nice hotel and location was good for our needs. Shower curtain rod was almost broke along with a couple towel holders. However for the price of the room I believe these minor issues should be looked over. Room was clean and water was hot and the staff was friendly. . .

Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. For the price we paid, we were very pleased. Breakfast was limited to waffles and donuts. Had to pay for the newspaper.

I was pleased with this room. In this price range ($57/nite + tax), that is not always the case. It had a king sized bed plus a hide-a-bed couch and 2 wing back chairs. The only thing it lacked was a small refrigerator and/or microwave. The location was close to the interstate but far enough away that I heard no traffic noise. I would stay there again.

I stayed here for a conference close by. The location was great- lots of restaurants to choose from and a massive Ingles accross the street. The room itself was maybe a little below what I am used to in quality. The sheets had some stains but appeared to be clean. The carpet was old but clean. For the price, if you just need a place to crash for the evening, it was perfect. The woman at the desk was very friendly.

The few minor issues I had were handled promptly, once checkin was set up correctly. It took a while to get my stay credited to my Wyndham Rewards Account. Pet Friendly was great, as well as the staff.

It was an ok place to stay. The bed was a little firm for me. I sleep on my side and I kept waking up in the morning with a sore shoulder and neck. Room was basically clean but the sink area was nasty. There was a gooey film on the top of the hair dryer that was disgusting. The wall by the sink was nasty as well. The AC unit was very noisy. Called office to see if we could get another room. He told us that all rooms are the same way. My girlfriend noticed the cleaning lady throws the comforter in the middle of the floor when changing sheets. They didn't supply us with enough soap for the weekend. Probably won't stay at this particular Super 8 again, unless absolutely a last resort.

We usually stay at another hotel chain, but we had no choice this time. With a big UT game going on in town, only two rooms in the area were left. Our room was clean but very sparsely furnished, and there was some kind of loud, undetermined noise in the bathroom. We never did find out where it was coming from. Thankfully it wasn't enough to keep us awake, but it was loud in the bathroom. We wouldn't stay here again unless it's the only one available again. Thankfully it was in close proximity to where we needed to be, so that was good.

My 2 biggest complaints were that the beds were very hard, and our door was difficult to close completely and lock. The maid actually left it unlocked. The front desk barely acknowledged our notification about the lock.

The hotel itself was fine. We only needed to stay over one night so it served the purpose. It was the front desk clerk that was horrible. Maybe that is just the way he talks on a regular basis but I felt that he was extremely rude. He made no attempt what so ever to provide a friendly atmosphere.

hotel was clean and close to everything. My only problem was we paid for a room with a jetted tub, and we were not given one. Overall not bad for a qucik weekend for gameday!

There were four of us and we had two room for four nights, all of us were very happy with the hotel. The rooms were both very clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the pool was very well maintained and the rooms were in perfectly fine condition. There was some wear and tear on things like the curtains and bedding, however it was no more than what you can usually expect in such a hotel. The location was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. For the rates they charge it was MUCH better than I had expected and I would stay there again if I'm back in the area.

It was good, about what I expected, I stayed here about 2 weeks. It was rather quiet... some minor things could have been better, but overall I enjoyed it, I would stay again. The hotel is very close to restaurants and the city and the interstate and is to itself on the hill, so you won't be bothered by others.

I knew for the price, the hotel was going to be not much better than a roadside motel. Upon arrival, the front desk employee was very friendly. After checking in, I let them know our room did not have a mini fridge or microwave (we had 3 rooms in all and the other 2 had these) and I was told I had to special order these - we had not with any of the other rooms. 2 of the 5 lights in our room did not work and we were only given an apology, nobody came to remedy it. I also let them know that the hair dryer did not work, and nothing was done about it. The pool was clean and maintained. Customer satisfaction was not a priority at this motel

You get what you pay for. After a long day of travel just needed a place to rest for a few hours. After we checked in and went to our room there was a female passed out in the stairwell. Would not stay at this location again.

Older hotel, but clean and friendly. Well kept

Breakfeast sucks....I thought the juice was good but it is just little donuts and stuff. But the room was nice and very large. beds were comfortable..Shower was not the best but for the price was very happy.

Right by the highway, cheap, decent breakfast and I rooms. Lots around it for food, gas, etc. Great if you need an affordable place. Only dissappointment was no exercise room.

I would definitely recommend this hotel as a clean, comfortable place to stay. The staff was attentive and we felt very safe. This is a very nice place for the price.

Very close to University of Tennessee and they offer a shuttle service to Neyland Stadium. Great people and you can't beat the price. Top notch service at an affordable rate.

The room seemed to be ok until we took showers, the water was so hot you could not adjust it to warm and then without any warning it went from scalding hot to freezing cold. We tried to tell cleaning people but no one spoke English. We put the do not disturb sign up and went out for the day, when we returned someone had been in the room and had not closed the door good. So all our stuff set there all day open to anyone who wanted to go in. We called the desk and he told us that sometimes the doors would open just by pushing on them. He was very argumentative about the whole situation. We will never stay here again...

This hotel desperately needs to be updated. The lobby is tired and worn, the room was smelly, the carpet so worn you could hardly tell there was carpet, the mattress was too hard, the three (not four) pillows on the king bed were lumpy, the towels were like sandpaper, and it reminded me of what I would think a "flea bag hotel" must look like. Mercifully it was for only one nite. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. Never again.

Old Hotel, Old Carpets, Old Rooms, Etc. Beds had Cheap & Very Very Hard Mattress that I could Not Sleep on. I Would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and very clean. The breakfast was quite good, and the price was very reasonable.

The room had a description of including a tub with jets and we were hoping for that after a long week of travel! The front desk clerk tried to give us a single bed and smoking when it was requested a double nonsmoking. When we got there.. it was a regular tub and regular hotel accommodations. It wasn't clean.. the room safe had someones underwear and chiclets in it.....ugg never again! Breakfast was horrible and they don't allow you to take plates up to your guests in the room. No coffee was made although the dispenser were there. No fruit. ugg.. never again! For the amount of time we spent off the main route to get here.. Never again! We had two adults and 3 kids under 15. We couldn't check out quick enough!

I usually do not stay at Motel 6 or Super 8 because the rooms are sparse and dirty and the property is not kept up. NOT so at this Super 8. Good location, clean and comfortable room, and a good continental breakfast.

Not too "fresh", service does not speak English. Reasonable price!
