Hotel Pineta Palace - רומא

overall a very average experience... Hotel is on Cosmos's tours as first hotel you stay in..disappointing for first impression of rome/Italy...too far from city.. no decent shops or restaurants in surrounding area..noisy rooms...cleaners were more friendly and smiling than the front line reception staff...would not stay there again.. :(

This hotel is a lovely place to stay. We found the language barrier no issue and each staff member were helpful and friendly. There is a walk to the bus stop which is quite easy to find. Be aware the bus gets very busy at times.

Staff were excellent and helpful, but I couldn't get past the condition of our room. Although I "think" it was clean, it is in dire need of a make over, particularly in the bathrooms. Although we didn't spend much time in the room, I would've preferred to spend the extra money and stay in a nicer hotel, because I felt like we were staying in a motel. Panelling was coming off, the ceiling in the shower was sinking, the shower head was difficult to keep secure so we had to hold it and the toilet water ran unless it was flushed just the right way. I know one day it ran all day, well at least from the time it was cleaned to until we got back to the room that evening and flushed it correctly. I'd hate to see that water bill, especially if other rooms are similar.

Better information and map need to be displayed on the internet for people trying to get to the hotel on public transport. Our room was very small and cramped considering the amount we paid. As we had to leave before breakfast was served, we asked for a breakfast box and it was pityful! NOT value for money.

It was decent but needs revamping the room size was very good fot two people sharing but they need to modernise this hotel badly. The location isnt great as its a good half an hour from the city centre, however, its a good location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are many buses that take you to the city and a metro on line A Cornelia which takes you to all the famous attractions which really helps.

Although it was a bit of a trek to get to the hotel, the staff was wonderful and the fact that breakfast was included was also great. It is an older hotel but we were comfortable enough and felt safe on our 3 day trip. It was a short walk to the bus stop and then a short ride to the metro from there into Rome so overall I would say this was a good hotel.

The Hotel Pineta Palace is in a safe suburb of Rome and is value-priced if you don't mind the inconvenience commuting by bus to downtown Rome (3 Euros round trip per person). A high caloric, hot and cold breakfast buffet is included with the room rate which is a plus. They have the best butter I've ever eaten in my life. The concept of customer service is pretty much lost on the hotel desk staff with the exception of the evening desk clerk Angelo. The chambermaids are very good. Take a facial washcloth with you since this hotel does not provide them. We did not find any air conditioning in the room.

I enjoyed my stay in Rome.The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly.I thought the location of hotel is just a little too far away from main sights, so ia lot of time is spent travelling on local bus,The service of the local bus number 49 is good and very cheap so it can be a good opportunity to see other parts of the city

Don't be fooled by the complainers.... you get what you pay for... but in the case, the hotel is worth more than I paid. The staff are friendly, the hotel has a nice ambiance, and the area is quiet. yes you will need a car or bus/metro to get anywhere, but that is part of the fun. If you cannot afford something else, then this place is more than perfect. Nearby is an amazing pizza restaurant, and even the nearby supermarket is worth the visit. All you need. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was nice. Better than I had expected. However it was a long way from central Rome. On their site it said that they had a shuttle to take you into town. They did not. We spent a lot on cab fares. Otherwise it was good.

My two children and I were in Rome in January and stayed at Pineta Palace. The first thing they did when we arrived were drawing on a map where the hotel was, where the closest bus stop was, metro and sightings. They were very friendly and told us everything we needed to know. Breakfast is included but it could have been better. Fruit was from cans, scrambled eggs were a bit wet and bacon wasn't fried totally, but the selection was okay for the price. The restaurant didn't open until 7pm and that isn't the best when traveling with children; maybe they could have a family hour from 5pm to 7pm and then for everyone else after 7pm? Overall very satisfied; details can be improved.

The staff was helpful and friendly and spoke good english.The room was not quite up to date and really noisy. I liked the fact tahat the hotel was quite far away from the attractions, so we got to experience the real Rome. Easy to get to by bus and train. Breakfast was nice, but not quite 4star

We were driving so needed a hotel with parking. Standard room required a E10 additional charge as did internet service. Room was clean, shuttle was convenient, breakfast was on par with others. Over all 2.5 stars

The room was very clean, the restaurant was just so so a little expensive for the quality. Even-though the hotel was not in town we had very good shuttle bosses from the hotel. I would stay there again.

We had a horrible stay in Hotel Pineta. The staffs are very rude and the location very far from the city. It is hard to locate as the hotel is not even on the highway, you have to go left and right after you go down the bus. When we called up the reception to ask where is the hotel, he was so rude in giving the direction. They are not welcoming at all. They have shuttle bus which cost Eur 3 two ways. And their rule is that the fare paid is only going and coming. Why I said this is because, we left the hotel by their shuttle and came back by bus, then we waited 7:30 pm to ride the shuttle bus again to go to the city, but the receptionist informed us rudely that it is not the way and she asked me from where did I get that information! I'm just trying my luck hello! Easy on me! They have 2 times service in the morning and 2 at night. And most of the time they are not coming at night so basically you are paying double of what you should be paying in public transport, they dont even put you down to the city proper itself! If you dont have metrobus ticket, you are so unfortunate because you have to take a cab or walk and find another hotel that sells the metrobus ticket. The hotel usually have it but they don't keep enough for their guest. They even dont offer any help to their guests,like calling a cab for them or trying to find out where is the nearest store that sells them. By the way, cabs are very rare to be found in that part of ROME! The breakfast closes at 9am! The safe that we had run out of battery! There is nothing near to the hotel, so if you get hungry, tough luck! Their bar and resto close ar 11 pm. So I really don't recommend the hotel if you are coming to visit Rome.

The hotel was simple, but clean. The staff was friendly and helpufl. The hotel was 20 minutes by bus of the Vatican City

Everything was great, specially the breakfast the only thing is the location it is very far from DT but they do have a shuttle that drops you off and picks you up at 8pm the last pick up is at 8 pm so it doesn't let you enjoy Rome at night. The Front desk guy was rude when I ask him to break a 50Euro bill complaining to his coworker in Italian, little did he know I spoke Italian!!!

situated in outer ring of city, pineta offers a shuttle service for a low fee to the vatican city from where one can go on hop on-hop off buses or cabs to specific poiunts and includes return ride. staff is friendly but beds are not to american tastes (futon like) i had no problem but for my elderly mom they were to hard.

This hotel was clean, it was maintained, but it just wasn't what I expect from a 4 star hotel. It was a great deal, and I would stay again, but I would be ready this time for a 2.5-3 star stay. There was no food to be found between 2-7:30 PM, so sorry if you're hungry... you'll have to go find something off site, which is fairly far to anything substantial, but again no major complaints, and would stay there again.

The hotel is located in a remote area. In order to reach the metro station you have to walk to the bus station approximately 300 m and then take the bus for a few stops to reach the metro station. From there you are alright Hotel was far from being 4 stars but I would say 3 stars

The Hotel Pineta Palace was a very good choice. Comfortable, friensly and helpful staff and good restaurant and bar. Maybe the best area in Rome. Calm and peaceful, so you can relax what you really need after a day in Rome. The roome was clean too, but you can found hair in the bed, I mean I found it, so the cleaner staff could be a little bit better.

Bon hôtel, isolation phonique décevante cependant. Situation éloignée du centre mais facilement joignable par le bus et le métro( 1/2 heure du centre ville ). Hôtel dans un quartier très calme.

It has good facility. We are very satisfied. But location is a little far away from torist places.

Wir wissen, dass das Hotel außerhalb der Innenstadt liegt. Anbindung zur Innenstadt gut (aber mit Zeitaufwand). Frühstück gut. In der Nähe des Hotels befindet sich ein Supermarkt und ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit normalen Preisen. Bei Fragen hilft das freundliche Hotelpersonal. Es war nicht der letzte Aufenthalt von uns in diesem Hotel.

Hotelli oli yleisilmeeltään siisti, perushuone oli perushuone. Parvekkeen varustus oli erittäin heikko; yksi muovituoli kahta majoittujaa kohti, ei pöytää. Suihkukaappiin ei sovi isokokoinen vieras.Vastaanoton palvelu oli hyvä, yhdellä miestyöntekijällä oli ehkä huono päivä, hymy oli tiukassa...

Fint hotel. Morgenmad ikke det bedste, men okay. Nogen afstand til seværdigheder, men nemt til bus og metro. Til prisen anbefalelsesværdigt.

Foi uma estadia execelente e embora o Hotel não esteja situado muito perto do Centro de Roma é servido por uma rede de transportes publicos muito efeciente. Serviço de pequeno almoço e recepção com optima qualidade e muita simpatia. Adorei !

Hvis du er den kræsne type og ønsker dig en luksuriøs ophold efter alle reglene,måske skal du søge andet sted - men Pineta Palace er hotel hvor du faktisk får vikelig meget for pengene! Meget venlig og hjælpsom staff i både reception og restaurant(congrats PP-team!) :man får med det samme et kort over Rom + tips til transport og besøgsværdige steder.Hvis i har i plan at besøge så meget som muligt,jeg vil anbefale at i tager et Rome-Pass(kan købes i hotelet) hvor for 30euro får 3 dage med fri transport+2 gratis adgang til musser,udstillinger,osv + reduceret pris på de andre steder der findes på listen (bemæk:Vatikanen er ikke på listen).Tilbage til Pineta Palace, det eneste lille "problem" er at hotelet ligger udenfor byens center og man er nød til at benyte transport for at come "downtown" .Det vil heller ikke være en problem hvis bus 94(som kommer tæt på hotelet og kører direkte til Vatican) vil komme mere ofte end den gjorte da vi var derned ( det var også ferie periode i Rom,metroet virkede ikke og skulle supleres med busser,så måske derfor var kaos i det offentlige transport). Men ellers,som sagt ,vi fik en god oplevelse hos Pineta Palace. PS. hvis i har lyst til en virkelig god kop espresso&americano&creamcaffe i området, jamen tæt på hotelet ligger en lille besked Mini Bar hvor i kan også prøve en fantastisk ginseng kafe for kun 1euro:)

Hôtel moyen, pas très bien placé et ne méritant pas 4 étoiles (salle de bain vieillotte et très petite, pas fonctionnelle, tables de la salle à manger non débarrasées au petit déjeuner chaque jour à notre arrivée et toujours pas à notre départ soit pendant près d'1/2 heure après..., pas de fruits frais, plats chauds = froids).

Oppholdet var veldig bra. Hyggelig betjening. God service. Nær busstopp. Lett å ta seg fram med offentlig transport. Hotellet ligger ca. 15 - 20 min med buss fra vatrikanet. Noen koselige barer og restauranter i nærheten av hotellet.

Fint hotel for pengene

Hotel appena fuori dal centro storico di Roma, servito bene dalle linee degli autobus, in un quartiere silenzioso.
