בחירה מצוינת למי שנוסע בתקציב מוגבל ורוצה לחטוף מבט של הוינה האמיתית. חדרים מאוד מרווחים עם קישוטים יפים ביותר על התקרה מתקופה בה הפירוט היה במודה. גם המיקום מעולה, מאוד קרוב לאזורי הקניות של Mariahilferstrafe, ובמרחק הליכה מ-Schönbrunn וממוזיאון הטכנולוגיה. המלון קשור למסעדה צמודה מאוד כיפית, ורוב האורחים חוזרים על מנת לאכול שם גם ארוחת ערב, מפני שהצוות מאוד נחמד והאווירה כה נעימה ורגועה. חבל שהאינטרנט האלחוטי נמצא בלובי בלבד אבל מצד שני האווירה בלובי כה נעימה שכיף להיות שם קצת על מנת לשלוח מיילים.  מסכי הטלויזיה היו יכולים להיות יותר גדולים, אך מי נוסע לוינה כדי לראות טלויזיה...? מקום נהדר, מאוד מומלץ.

שהיתי ב- Toutotel שלושה לילות. הפקיד בקבלה כשהגעתי היה יכול להיות יותר ידידותי אבל לא משנה. קצת חששתי שבחרתי מלון לא מוצלח כשהלכתי לחדר אבל כשקראתי את המידע על המלון וגיליתי שהוא קיים מ-1865 בערך, יכולתי לסלוח לאספקט הגיל ובאור זה הוא נראה מקסים. החדר שלי היה בדיוק מה שהייתי צריך, לא מפואר אבל נקי עם מיטה, חדר אמבטיה די גדול וטלויזיה. מיקום טוב. בהחלט אשהה כאן שנית.

המלון היה נחמד עבור ביקור בחודש מרץ. אין להם מזגנים אז תיזהרו אם אתם נוסעים בעונה החמה. מפני שנסענו בתחילת האביב היה מספיק טוב לפתוח חלונות - לא היה צורך למזגן. בעיה אחת הייתה כאשר הלכתי לישון; היה אפשר לשמוע את החשמל בתוך הקבלים בחדר. לכן היה צורך להוציא את כרטיס המנעול מהשקע של בקרת החשמל על מנת לישון ללא חשמל וללא רעש. זה מאוד הפריע כי כתוצאה לא היה חשמל להטעין מצלמות, iPad וכדומה. אם משאירים את הכרטיס בחשמל המצב הינו בלתי נסבל; הרעש המעצבן משגע. למרות זאת, המיטות היו נוחות והחדרים מורווחים יחסית לסטנדרטים אירופיים וצפון אמריקאים. המיקום נהדר. תחנת הרכבת במרחק של כ- 4  בלוקים והנסיעה למרכז לוקחת כ- 5 דקות ברכבת התחתית. בסך הכול כדאי לחזור - אך רק בחורף, סתיו ואביב.

עשר דקות הליכה מתחנת הרכבת המרכזית של וינה, נקודת ההורדה של האוטובוסים משדה התעופה. Tourotel Mariahilf הוא בחירה מצויינת במחיר בינוני לשהות בוינה. החדרים מרווחים אך בסיסיים והמלון הוא בניין ישן,אופנתי וגדול. הצוות מאוד מנומס וידידותי. הוא במרחק הליכה קלה ממרכזי תחבורה ראשיים להגעה מסביב לעיר ויש המון ברים ומסעדות טובות בקירבת מקום. בסה"כ אני אמליץ על המלון הזה.

החדר הכפול לא היה כ"כ גדול, אך מספיק לשני אנשים ללא ילדים. חדר האמבטיה היה גדול. אין איוורור בחדר חוץ מהחלונות. חלונות החדר שלי פנו לגינת המלון עם מזרקה. במשך חמישה ימים לא שמעתי כל רעש. מקום ממש שקט. המיקום היה טוב בשבילי, רק 5 דקות מ- Westbahnhof. אין מקרר ואינטרנט בחדר.

בעלי ואני שהינו ב- Tourotel ושנינו התלהבנו מהשירותים והמיקום של המלון הזה. החדר בו היינו היה מאוד מרווח, מואר ונקי. הצוות מלא תשומת לב ומהיר להענות לבקשותינו. זה תענוג אמיתי להמליץ על המלון הזה.

עבורי המלון היה בסדר אבל כמעט ולא הייתה לי אינטראקציה עם הצוות. למען ההגינות, לא אכלתי ארוחת בוקר במלון. מומלץ שיבדקו את התחרות - בהמשך הרחוב יש פאב עם אינטרנט אלחוטי חינם שמגיש ארוחת בוקר נהדרת וזולה יותר. בית המלון מחייב לפי שעה עבור שימוש באינטרנט. ממש לא כדאי! ראיתי זוג בריטי ששהה 2 לילות במלון וחזרו לאחר שנגנבו להם הדרכונים בשדה התעופה והם חסרו כמעט הכול. הפקיד במשמרת לילה לא היה מוכן לעזור להם (למרות שנראה לי שפחד מתגובת ההנהלה). בבוקר המנהלת התנהגה כלפיהם בגסות רוח מוחלטת. מיותר לגמרי. לי יש תפקיד ניהולי בבית מלון ואם הצוות שלי היה מתנהג כך הייתי חסרת בן אדם. עשיתי צ׳ק-אאוט מיד אחריהם והגישה שלה כלפיי גם הייתה בלתי מקובלת.  נראו כאילו שהם נחמדים ואדיבים אבל ברגע שיש בעיה - תעשו צ׳ק-אאוט.

במקום מרכזי. קל לבקר אזורים שונים בעיר, רק כ- 2 תחנות ברכבת הקלה או במטרו. חדרים גדולים, נקיים ונוחים ללא הרבה ריהוט. הצוות היה מאוד עוזר בנוגע לדיור, חנייה והנחיות. החנייה הייתה נחמדה ובמחיר סביר.

שהיינו ב-Tourotel במשך 3 לילות כדי לבקר בשוקי חג המולד בוינה ולסייר באתרים. המלון במקום מושלם, קרוב לתחנת רכבת וינה מערב ולכן קל להסתובב. הדבר היחידי שהייתי אומר שהיה מוזר הוא שלא מקבלים באופן אוטומטי אמצעים להכנת תה וקפה בחדר. במקום, היה צריך להשאיר פדיון של 10 יורו עבור הקומקום!  די בטוח שאף אחד לא היה גונב קומקום ואף פעם לא ראיתי דבר כזה בבית מלון. בנוסף, פקיד הקבלה היה מאוד יהיר ואמר שבכלל לא יכולים להשאיל לי כוסות כי ׳הן נגמרו׳, ואף הסתכל אלי ממש בגועל. לא הייתה שום סיבה שלמלון תהיה גישה מסוג זה.... וזה היה ברור שזה היה שקר.  בנוסף, הגיע הזמן לשפץ את החדרים.  אף על פי כן, מלבד הטיפש הזה, שאר פקידי הקבלה עזרו והמלון די שווה את המחיר. גם לא ראינו בחוץ את היצאניות שהוזכרו בביקורות.

Only few steps away from the train station, accessible to the city center. However, there are no kettle and fridge in the room. Other than that everything was fine

How nice to come into Vienna by train and find I could walk to my hotel, which was literally around the corner. A four minute walk got me there. The bathrooms are spotless and well-equipped. The staff at the desk was unfailingly friendly and helpful. More I could not have wished myself at the price. It's a fifteen minute walk to Stephansdom and a fifteen minute walk to the Nasch Markt.

We found the hotel very good value for money the location was very central to all amenities -.public transport the three day travel ticket was very useful.The staff were very friendly, the room was very comfortable with a large bathroom -we enjoyed a very good breakfast every day we enjoyed our stay there very much.

The location of this hotel was excellent! , two minutes from the main train station! the staff was friendly and helpful, she spoke many languages and helped us get our suitcases from the airport. (Our luggage did not arrive with us, as sometimes happens, so she called the airport and arranged for it to be delivered to us at the hotel). Cleanliness was good, comfort was good, I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Would go back.

This hotel was lovely and clean, all high ceilings and magnificent staircases. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was (although down a very long street) a short distance from the museum district and everything else you may want in Vienna.

Great place. Wonderful staff. Clean. Room 103 had some noise carry from people talking in the lobby, but not a big deal (but that is why I rate comfort as 3). The surrounding hood isn't great, but you are at Wesbahnof. The subway in Wien is awesome, fast, on time. You can go to all of the tourist sites extremely easily. Plus, you're closer to some non-tourist "local" cafes when you stay near Westbahnof. The hotel was incredibly cheap, probably because of location, but it was just as nice as hotels inside the city that are "tourist hotels."

This hotel is quite amazing. It has kept an old style with really high roof, wood floor and very big rooms with nice windows... The decoration of the rooms is really cozy and you feel very comfortable and in a luxury hotel for a nice price...It is really close to the center. The people there are really nice and helpful, whatever your need. One should also get the breakfast, it is quite cheap and it takes place in a bar-cafe close by: so amazing!! It has a lot of food, all you can eat, and a lot of specialties of the country... And I should not forget, the city is beautiful, especially in December... I strongly advise to visit this city and to choose this hotel to have a wonderful stay!! Enjoy!!

Great hotel. Reasonable price! Great location close to the subway. Helpful staff and nice room. One of the nicest stay of our 6 week European vacation

This is not a 4 star hotel, but it is a good value and clean. Amenities are very limited.

Overall the hotel was ok, but there were some specific details which were quite annoying. First of all being a 4 star hotel one should think that it had quality service and comfort, unfortunately the latter fell short. The room was very plain: no wifi, no mini-bar, small tv, small bathroom with a shower that was either very hot or very cold, and when it was hot the pressure was so light that it took hours to take a proper shower. Another discomfort was the bed which was double with different matresses.

Staff was always friendly and ready to help, our room was extremely spacious and location was convenient - close to Westbahnhof station so it was close to the subway and shuttle buses to and from airport!

Large bedroom and bathroom but tv old fashioned and too small. No fridge/mini-bar. No tea-making facilities. Air conditioning was an electric fan.Breakfast was served in a nearby cafe/restaurant.

Given the price and location, tourotel Mariahilf is a very good value. My only caveat is free wifi in the lobby only, not in room, but it's a minor quibble. Everything was very clean, the location is great (get a transit pass, the whole city is wide-open to explore) and we didn't want to leave.

This hotel was ideal for us as we were travelling by rail from& to Munich using the Westernbahnhof......less than 10 mins walk from the place. The excellent links using the Ubahn meant we could visit all the main sights from central city to the Prater & the Belvedere & the tram outside the hotel took us to Schonbronn in less than 15mins.Altho' the decor is dated our room was spotless & the ensuite sparkled. The staff were friendly & helpful & eating breakfast buffet at the adjacent bistro was no problem. The food there was tasty & good value so we ate dinner there 2 of our 4 nights.

The room and bathroom were huge and clean. There was no air-conditioning, although with the provided fan and open windows, it was still comfortable. The location is not great for walking to the city attractions, as it is a good 20 mins + from everything. However, it is pretty close to the train station Wien Westbahnhof where there are many tram and subway lines.

Stayed here in July 2012 and it was an excellent place to stay. Staff were fairly friendly. The rooms where huge and had laminate wooden floors which helped with it being a lot cleaner. The bathroom also was super clean and lots of space. Comfortable beds. Free WiFi in the hotel reception area or by the stairs was great. Not far from WestBahnhof station. about 3 minutes walk. There are shops and takeways just outside the hotel with a couple of great ice cream places. Some of the independent shops that sell fruit and other things are open later than the supermarket but they are also a lo more expensive. Beautiful building. The Vienna Card offered by the hotel was a few Euros more than what you pay at any station for the same 3 day card so we bought them at a underground Station. Muy bueno hotel. Muy limpio y lindo edificio tambien.

Our room was HUGE with a spacious balcony overlooking Mariahilfer Street. The location is ideal -- the train station and nearest metro station is just a five minute walk away and there's a trolley line at the front door. There are some good, affordable little restaurants surrounding the hotel, including Asian, Turkish and the what we would rate to be the best gelato shop in all of Europe -- Zanoni's located on the north side of the street halfway between the train station and the hotel. The hotel could use some updating and the room door entry system is a ridiculously complicated German-made system that requires a demonstration from the check-in staff -- I kid you not. The multilingual staff were exceedingly helpful. If we were in Vienna again, we would probably stay here again.

The room was spacious and comfortable and quiet throughout my stay. When I had difficulties with the unusual key card arrangements for getting into the room the receptionist was really helpful and friendly in sorting things out. While it's not in the centre of town, the location was ideal for me - if arriving by train it's likely you'll get into the Westbanhof station which is the closest to the hotel. It's just ten minutes walk to this and then the whole city is just a few minutes away via the U-bahn or S-bahn, so really convenient.

The use of the key card for our room was not working properly, no one from the front desk would help, we had to get a maid to show us how the card worked and she confirmed that the control button was sticking making the opening of the door very difficult. The hotel has no air conditioning and being in Vienna in July (very hot) it made sleeping very uncomfortable. We were on the third floor and the elevator only went to the second floor. We had to carry our bags up two flights of stairs.

Nice place, good location. No breakfast in the hotel. Using the room key to turn on the power is annoying. Can't charge anything while out of the room, or leave while your spouse is in the tub, without leaving them in the dark. Hotel staff assumed I knew about the key/ lights and the breakfast situation.

We stayed in four hotels while we vacationed in Vienna and the Bavarian region, and this hotel was definitely the most disappointing. They placed us in a room that neighbored another room being renovated. The sanding and pounding started at a reasonable time, but it lasted until late in the afternoon(tough on the siesta time). The shower doors had a large crack and would leak so much water...we used all of our towels to clean it up. Did I mention these cracked doors also had mildew?? It is my husband's and my hope, the room we stayed in, was next up for renovation. We also had some issues with the staff. The room was very hot, so I wanted just a top sheet instead of a comforter. When my husband went down to the front desk to ask for this, the attendant didn't understand what he was looking for, so she proceeded to ask him why he needed it. What???

Not luxury, but offers solid comfort. I got a really good rate through hotels.com, 50% lower than listed price in the hotel. Rooms were very clean. Good bed and good bathroom. Other facilities not quite so great: very small TV and no kettle. Weird locks on the door. Friendly staff. Very close to the West Bahnhof, which is also a U-Bahn station, walking distance to the main shopping street. About 1h walk to the old town, but easy to get there by metro, as it's on the same line. All in all, very good value.

This is a very basic, no frills hotel. The brochure says they underwent a total renovation in 2002, which I highly doubt or they didn't make it to the third floor. The floor in my room was in desperate need of repair, the shower had mildew, and the tv was about 15 years old. There is an elevator but it only goes up to the second floor. This was no fun with luggage. There is wi-fi in the lobby only, and they have a computer that is available for guest use but it is very expensive and only in half hour increments. If you need to just quickly check email or flight info this is absurd. I asked about other internet places in the area and the receptionist couldn't think of any, saying there weren't any in the immediate area. It turns out there is a cheap internet place a block up the street. It was irritating to find how little help the staff was. I got the hotel for pretty cheap online compared to the prices listed at the desk. If you can get rooms for cheap and are planning on being out of the room for the whole day this is fine. If you are hoping to relax a bit in the evening I would go to one of the other thousand hotels that are in Vienna.

It was a peasant stay in this hotel not far from the city centre and the historic buildings and the shopping street. Convenient location for the metro lines as well. I would recommend this hotel for anybody travelling on a short stay to Vienna.

This is a really nice place with a great friendly staff. Its easy to get everywhere via U-Bahn and S-Bahn (including airport train and airport bus). The room was nice and big and just in the area are plenty of places for a bite to eat or a night cap. I'll stay here again for sure.

We loved our stay the stay was great and helpful. They spoke great English. The location was perfect, right across the street from public transport.
