Good location, in a quiet area of ocean drive, but still convenient., 15-20min walk to Lincoln Road Mall. Older building, old doors, gets very noisy at times, you can hear all the noise from the hallway. Room was okay, not as nice as on the pictures. Nice pool area and access to beach. Overall, average stay, nothing special, but no major issues to complain about.

Very happy with our choice.

The rooms are a bit dated, but everything worked and it was cleaned thoroughly each day. We appreciated that it was on the beach and the heated pool was also very nice. The close walk to all the hotels, shops and restaurants was great! Our only problem was the thin ceiling. Someone above us seemed to be stomping back and forth all evening, which was a bit annoying.

The hotel is in a great location, on the beach and just steps from Ocean Drive. The pools are well maintained and all the staff I encountered were welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very large and the property is spotless. My only complaints were the furnishings in my room appeared tired and the hot water supply was questionable. I also did not like paying a resort fee at check-out when I prepaid the entire room in advance.

Being there for the beach and outdoor activities, we weren't looking for a spa experience. What we had was the ideal location, beach access, and a very nice room and staff. Totally enjoyable long weekend!

A very acceptable hotel where the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good standards and location with the area below fifth street being regenerated and now having more interesting restaurants to visit without going into the busier Ocean Drive area. The Beach area is good but the sun beds would benefit from mattresses. Otherwise no negatives.

Ok hotel, great location

Just a average hotel.

Everything went very very well until there was a massive construction going on right outside my room starting at 8am the day I was due to depart. I felt like I was sleeping in a war zone. Other than that, the staff were really nice, the bed was very very comfortable, the location was reasonably close to the center of South Beach yet not too close to it so that there's a bit of space and calmness.

the location is downright perfect and management must know that because the building needs some updates. most of the staff were very friendly but a couple were a bit standoffish.

Nice hotel, location is exceptional, on the beach with a nice pool. All the staff we met were professional and very friendly, no fault there. Biggest Issue was the resort fee which was charged which is not clear and also the amount of money held on your credit card when using the bar or restaurant which again we were not told about!

We had a view of the car park next door and that was all. Room had been renovated but we were unable to use the bath as there was no plug and then bath was dodgy. Every time we had a shower we had to put a face cloth rolled up at the end of the bath otherwise water ran on to the floor. We booked with two other couples and specified that we be on the same floor, one couple was on the ground floor the other couple and ourselves on 3rd floor. Pool area was fantasti, loved the beach chairs and umbrella.

The hotel was nice but old. the pictures are slightly deceiving and are way better then in real life. the shower was not updated at all. and we had notice blood on the sheets which grossed us out. i paid for 4 guests (they charged for 2 extra people in the room) and yet they didnt leave sheets for the pull out bed. i called for them and they didnt even make the bed up. you had to do it yourself. the view was of the pool and it was nice. the patio is a nice touch but overall i expected more for the money.

Perfect location on south beach. Away from the busy, noisy restaurants but close enough to walk. Hotel backs onto Miami beach with beautiful white sand and you can walk miles along the beach. Pool area is perfect for kids and a deeper pool for adults. Decor is art deco, beautiful and comfortable. Concierge is helpful. Valet is $30/night. Resort Fee about $13/night-this gives you access to a beach umbrella and two beach chairs. This was our first time in Miami and I would definitely go back to the Savoy.

Pictures and reality are 2different things. The receptionist,after seeing our disappointment gave us a better room. All in all with some effort and more info this could be a great hotel. The location is unbeatable

We haven't been told that there are daily leisure surcharges 2 days total $57 while we checked out. At the first when we check in, they said we get beach tower and 2 beach umbrellas and internet are all included. But apparently it is not at the end, will not so this hotel amymore.

I've been to South Beach four or five times and the Savoy Hotel gives you the biggest bang for your buck. Excellent bar/restaurant on site, beautiful pool (pool is about 20 feet away from the beach), hotel provides free beach chair, umbrella and towels. It is two blocks away from the string of night clubs and restaurants, a Walgreens, liquor stores, Starbucks.etc. Front dest man, Immer, was extremely helpful.

Got probably their best suite#301!huge suite!2 washrooms,3 differentareas,not including the kitchenette/Wich btw was the only one that could not get 5 out of 5,and a huuuuuuuuge walk in closet!traveling with 2 kids,1yr and 3 yr old! The size of this suite fitted just right!staff-great.pool area- not much time spent there!yet perfect!.the beach area: perfect!great location ,good experience over all!we just had a well deserved vacation! And not to forget: didn't see the famous carpet stains:))

Although it needs a bit of a facelift, we really enjoyed our stay at the Savoy. The giant room, 2 pools, and direct beach access made up for the need for updating. New mattresses would be a good thing, though.

We wanted to stay there. Our room had a beautiful view and the people were very hospitable. The local Cuban cuisine was everything we expected and more. We reccommend lunch at the La Playa market!

Stayed at The Savoy Hotel for 3 nights and had a great experience. The suite we were in was much larger than I expected and had plenty of room for 4 people. The only downside to the room was that there were no cooking utensils or kitchen supplies but on request we were able to get silverware sent to the room. The two pools were a nice break from the beach and the staff was always friendly and willing to help when they could. Great perk that the beach chairs were free with the resort fee on the beach. The location was perfect as it was just a few blocks from the main stretch of restaurants/bars in South Beach but was far enough away that the noise wasn't a bother. Great trip!

I would in this Hotel hands down everytime I am in MIAMI. Close enough to the action and far enough to get a good night sleep to recharge the batteries...staff was awesome, clean rooms...very pleased. Cheers!

The hotel is updated and is nice for the money. The services aren't great but you are in a comfortable place with all the major amenities. The loccation is great for all the attractions and it is far enough from the party that you can relax. Beach access is great and close enough that you can still go back to your room easily without packing up all your stuff. Our room was in the secondary building and didn't have a view, but it is south beach so the only time you are in the room is to sleep. Overall great place for the money.

we were overall very pleased with the hotel with the exception of our room being on the first floor and the building being older you could hear the floors making noise all evening from the floor above guests walking around, the first evening we did not sleep at all due to the room above us packing to leave early morning as i found this out when i went to the lobby guest check in, the staff didn't seem to be able to say anything, however the gentlemen checking out and his family apologized for the noise not that it was there fault the floor sounds were so noisy, my husband seriously thought the ceiling might fall in.... i would stay again however request top floor - the other disappointment was the full fee resort fee added for the checkin day when we weret arriving until 8- 9 pm and the beach chairs and pool chairs were not accessable at that time,

Same as many other hotels in Miami. Old, worn out and dirty but nice staff, location and pool area. A cabinet door suddenly came loose and fell on the floor, not a big deal but a safety issue when we had an infant crawling around on the floor. Noisy A/C

I had good experience, however for the price, they can trian front desk personal better, the end of my trip was rushed because of front desk lack of knowlage.

This hotel is a perfect location in South Beach - one block north of the very busy Ocean Drive strip, on the beach, two pools, great ambience, outstanding staff and service with all suites rooms. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant stay.Staff, room and hotel in general very nice.

Old and needing facelifts for the rooms very bad. No ice machine or room service that I could find. Hotel bar didnt carry Budlight and the bedroom 15yr old TV didnt work. Nice pool though and great location.

located ideal on the beach, large, clean and comfortable rooms, a real nice pool area, friendly staff, calm and only steps to collings street - what would You like more. We can only recommend this place Christa and Peter

I searched for hours and hours reading reviews, locations, amenities and price. I was getting frustrated until i found the Savoy. The location is perfect, they are connected to the beach. Be careful of "Beach-Front or "Ocean-Front"" locations, which means they are across the street but in front of the beach. A few minutes walk up on Ocean Dr. and you've got bars and restaurants but you're away from the noise if you need to sleep ( I was there on business) The price is reasonable compared to all the other hotels, it is clean and the staff couldn't not have been nicer. From Tony at the curb to Mary at the front desk (Ciao Maria) to Rocky by the pool to the guy (sorry, I forgot your name) working the chairs on the beach. One of the most pleasant stays I've ever had, and I have traveled th world. Seriously, stop looking, ignore any bad reviews that may possibly come up about the Savoy and just book it.

A little gem in South Beach Miami just far enough away from the crowds for some peace and quiet, but close enough to join in the excitement when you want. Loved the easy access to the beach. Close to everything.

After reading some mixed reviews, we decided the good out weighed the bad and booked a night at the Savoy hotel before departing on our cruise. The staff were friendly, the drinks were strong (in a good way) and the accommodations were perfectly fine. In the evening, there was a wedding downstairs with loud music, but the hum from the street was the only noise when we went to sleep. There was a cold pool and a warm pool which was great for winter. The beach location was fantastic. The wireless speed was fine. We loved the french restaurant, Otentic, just walking distance away. Food from the Savoy was also good. Fries, wraps and sandwiches were yummy and well portioned. Beach side service is such fun!

Hotel as everything to be the perfect hotel in the area. Only the slightly dated look and finishes betray it. With a little bit of cosmetic work and update, it could easily be the place where you want to be staying. Indeed, it is charming and feels like an intimate hotel as it isn't one of these "factory" hotels with 5000 rooms, it is cosy, extremely well located and the service is very good. The beach is outstanding as you expect it to be on Ocean Dr and the pools are nice... A lot of good points overall... Only negatives are that the hotel and rooms could really afford a little refresh, and a better restaurant breakfast/food quality to jump into today's world, a true experience in luxury vacation getaway... Clearly the underdog that could quickly be the one spot in South Beach... Overall C+/B that could easily go to A!!!

The hotel is very well situated and close to the action, but far enough away from the action to not get the associated noise. It is literally on the beach with access to beach chairs and towels. The pool area was excellent with two pools and friendly staff to attend to you. The room was not ultra-luxe but certainly clean, comfortable and functional. Since it was a suite with full kitchen we were able to host friends for dinner and a pre-party party.

The Savoy is an old hotel and not a large corporate chain, so you shouldn't expect everything to be luxurious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room and bed were very comfortable. If I were to stay longer, I would request a room with a dining table and inquire about dishes if you wanted to use the kitchenette. In our room the cupboards were bare, but there was a small fridge, microwave, bar sink, and coffee maker. We loved the private beach access, the pool areas and location to eateries, bars and cafe's. A good value. I would definitely stay again!

O quarto é limpo, amplo,com salas e closet.Possui uma mini cozinha com cafeteira, microondas e frigobar.O hotel é pé-na-areia, tem serviço de praia e localizado na area art deco.Possui um wallgreen a um quarteirão e muitos restaurantes ao lado.O café servido pelo hotel é cobrado à parte e é muito mal servido,não vale a pena.O estacionamento é com vallet, demora para trazer o carro e é mais caro que o estacionamento da frente que é só atravessar a rua e pegar o carro, o qual optamos no segundo dia.

Hôtel vieillissant, il mériterait une grande rénovation en urgence : peinture, fenêtres (les nôtres n'ouvraient pas très bien et en simple vitrage heureusement nous donnions sur la piscines), clim difficile à régler et bruyante, pas de réfrigérateur, une petite kitchenette mais sans aucun ustensile de cuisine ou pour manger donc sans aucun intérêt. Nous avions une chambre avec un lit King Size (très bien) et un canapé lit très inconfortable (deux adultes et deux enfants, prévoir un "tip" pour le personnel qui vient vous faire le lit du canapé). Pour les glaçons il faut les demander à l'accueil et donc prévoir un "tip" au personnel qui vous les amène...Pas de petit déjeuner compris, et il est très cher en supplément...Le voiturier vous est quasiment imposé au prix de 30 dollars pour une nuit. La piscine est très agréable et l'accès direct à la plage est très bien, mise à disposition de serviettes gratuitement. Vous avez un prix de journée en plus à régler sur place...Globalement hôtel trop cher par rapport au rapport qualité /prix, un ancien hôtel de luxe qui n'a pas su se mettre au goût du jour, seule la situation à un intérêt, je le recommande pour une séjour d'une nuit ou deux maximum.
