We are so appreciative of you kindness, outstanding staff, and willingness to extend our stay as we suffered the loss of a loved one!!!! Forever thankful!

Too pricey.

Overall our stay was excellent. We're staying at this hotel about 6-7 times. The only problem we had this time was their internet service was extremely slow. I tried both their wired and wireless service. Normally their wired service was very good but this time nothing was acceptable. Both my wife and I rely on the internet access and getting to this hotel and finding their service poor impacted the overall quality of our trip.

Friendly staff and clean hotel. Breakfast buffet is good. I booked the hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. Unfortunately they were both closed for unknown reason the day I was there.

The hotel's computer system was down, making it a bit inconvenient. Could not use credit card for restaurant bill and did not want to use the ATM and get charged the unnecessary fees. Thank goodness we were able to pool our monies to pay the bill, which left us having to find a bank to replenish funds. Because of the system being down, so was the internet. Also, the cable tv system only had sporadic service.

We stumbled across this hotel when my wife said to me, "let's go some place for the weekend and preferably some place that has a pool, so that kids can enjoy themselves". So I immediately thought "road trip", but I didn't want to travel far, and when ever I think road trip, I think of stopping at Cracker Barrel, so I did a search for the nearest location. The nearest location to us was in Mt. Arlington, so then I searched for hotels close by, and of all the choices Hilton Garden Inn sounded the most appealing because it was reasonably priced, right in the Rockaway Mall, and they had an indoor pool for the kids. They also offered a full breakfast for just $4 dollars more. Well, I kid you not, everything was great. The hotel was very convenient to everything, the staff was super friendly, and the kids loved the pool. The only thing I would do different is to get a room further away from the pool, the pool smell was little strong for my taste, but other than that everything was perfect. Another plus was there was a Buffalo Wild Wings right next door to the hotel. Awesome!

The second floor where I stayed smelled like cigarette smoke...seems like they have rooms there where this is OK. Expensive stay for a hotel that smells like an ash tray...

Positive experience. Room was clean and service good. Located at a mall which was nice.

Renovation was way over due for this location. Beds were out of shape. Heater was loud and inefficient. Front desk personnel wasn't nice or friendly.

Everything all clean. Kinda older. Well maintained but the price is too much for no complimentary breakfast. They want you to pay for it.

Good hotel and great location. Hardest mattress i have ever TRIED to sleep on. And, the breakfast buffet food was cold.

This is a very nice hotel situated within walking distance to a mall. There were not many restaurants in the area, but the hotel had great room service and a happy hour! The front desk staff was helpful and always available. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows are very thick.

I stopped here overnight on my way into NYC and had a very comfortable evening with no problems. My room was spacious and very comfortable. My only comment would be that it wasn't a non-smoking room, and while it didn't smell horribly there was a very very faint smell of smoke. I suspect someone very sensitive to such things might be bothered, but really it was fine. My room was also the handicap-accessible room so I suspect it's their catch-all internet special room. But really, the location was perfect and the hotel comfortable.

Everything was good. No complains.

Nice hotel. Clean and convenient. Liked it very much - until aound 10pm when the people directly across the hall (and their many guests) had a rowdy party. I waited a while, then called the front desk to complain. Someone came up to ask them to settle down, but the noise in their room and in the hallway didn't stop. Not a very restful night. Perhaps there should be a floor/wing dedicated to guests who anticipate being noisy.

was close to our final destination. The only complaint that we had was their was a bunch of kids their for either a bassball game or a soccor game that wekend.

This hotel was very nice, clean, and in a great location. Nice mall close by. Would definately stay there again.

Got a great internet special rate and would have put up with a lot for that rate. The only small issue was that there was a party in the party room downstairs that we could hear in our 2nd floor room. Fortunately the party ended at midnight and we were up anyway, so it was no big deal.

My husband & I stayed at this hotel for a romantic weekend away. It was nice. The only downfall was housekeeping kept knocking at our door. There was no do not disturb sign.

This is a great hotel - for the price range, it's lovely.
