Very nice. Everyone on the staff was especially friendly and helpful. Good selection of breakfast foods.

I stayed at others including this trip in Florida. And usually a good experience! Here subpar and ran down facilities. Not as clean and just over all not what I have come to expect.

Elevator was being worked on and other guests were extremely loud between talking in their rooms, to walking down the hallways and banging doors. Room was fine and location was great. Continental breakfast could be more than cereal, muffins and apples.

The Elevator was out and the staff had no idea when it would be repaired. Having one ice machine on the 3rd floor is not convenient, unless you are on the 3rd floor. No cups in the room, had to go to the lobby to find some.

When I arrived I was greeted very friendly and went out with friends. Upon return around 10 the halls were very noisy, didnt' bother me at first, but after 20-30 mins of doors slamming from multiple individuals from the same party was irritating, had to call the front desk, if that wasn't bad enough the next evening after shopping and having several bags discovered that the elevator wasn't working. I wasn't given any alternatives, and walked down the hall to the stairs, while climbing the first set of stairs hearing the man that works the desk saying that this (the stair situation) was there way of health plan, well I was offended by that, being an overweight 50 something year old. The next day I discovered the elevator was going to be out all weekend, again no other alternatives were offered. Oh and there were only 8 channels on the boob tube. I will never spend a night in a Microtel Inn ever again and if I know a head of time that family or friends is considering it. I will try to change their minds vehemently.

Stay was good, but need more ice machines on more floors than just the 3rd floor. Major pain in the butt, unless your room is on the 3rd floor.

As we walked towards our room (2nd floor) I was smacked by a musty fish smell from the dark green carpet. The first room we got had the TV missing with mounting nuts thrown about on the desk. None of the power points worked, so couldn't charge my phone or make coffee. Called the front desk, they said they would send a repair guy. An hour passes, no one comes. Called again, the lady throws us a new key. This new room had the antique TV and power points working, but the bed had a bedskirt missing and there was this horrible brown stain that could be seen.

This was a great hotel for the money. Zero complaints

I reserved a two bed room because I was traveling with a business partner. I get there and they didn't have one. They called the free upgrade a king suite with a pullout bed. We pulled the bed out only to find a paper thin mattress with old peanuts and crumbs. I was so embarrassed. U could feel the metal springs when u sat on it. What a joke. This is not what I payed for!!!

Hotel very small, only ice machine on third floor, received no key on arrival-had to wait until after 6pm before getting a key due to machine. Went to desk to request, and received without ID request. Spider in bathroom. Old television with missing button. Room very small. Did not get room with refrigerator or microwave. Too expensive for what is offered.

Dollar for dollar and convenience, this property was great. The staff did a wonderful job and on a couple of occasions went above and beyond what was expected. These people care, they have a wonderful property and PLEASE don't tell anyone about the best kept secret in the perimeter area. I am coming back...

I stayed a weekend here and the room was clean and the staff was courteous and attentive when I asked for help. My room was clean and when I was away Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning. My only complaint was the Housekeeping noise level. I work late and so I sleep in a little later than most people until around 9-10 AM. The Housekeepers were very loud in the halls. Doors slamming, Talking and one morning I awoke to them playing music as they worked. This was a Monday morning so most guests were gone as the hotel was pretty full over the weekend. I did ask them the first morning to please be quieter when they are talking as I was still sleeping and they did quiet down some but still doors were slammed closed (They are heavy doors to hotel rooms and on hinges that close quickly so I understand that they make noise when they close but respect for the guest has to always be the top priority) & still a lot of noise.

I use Microtel whenever I can with the exception of one city. They certainly are not the best but they are consistant and represent good value.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Parking was convenient in a central location just off the highway. My only complaint was the continental breakfast wasn't always kept up. The selections were adequate but spills, etc weren't attended to in a timely manner.

The place overall looks nice but, that is a bit misleading. There are some things here that definitely could stand some improvement. For example the television in my room was so old & beat up, there was a whole corner section of the front panel missing. Other places in the area have more updated TVs if not flat panels. But the biggest improvement needs to be retraining of the housekeeping staff and maybe maintenance. The room had been cleaned but I found an individual packet of cream cheese under the edge of the bedspread against the platform of the bed. Thank goodness it was unopened. The bathtub had one of those bowed shower curtain rods. It was hung so high that it hardly kept the water in the shower, now & then resulting in puddles on the floor. Small things? Maybe. But with your competition literally right at your backdoor and beside you, big enough to send smart customers elsewhere.

Manager is nice, but be aware she will change in an instant as far as understanding.

it was fine. Just need to install more than one Ice Machine that happens to be on the 3rd Floor. It's only convenient if you're also on the 3rd Floor. The rates are always good, which makes the property even more attractive.

Yes. I enjoyed it a lot. I hardly used the TV, but still, it would be appropriate to furnish LCD TVs in the rooms. Would also be nice if you put some decent furniture in the lobby. The tub in the bathroom is worn out and needs changing. The carpet has seen better days. But all in all, I didn't mind all that very much. The staff was friendly and efficient, breakfast was great, and the bottom line is that I got all my money's worth. Thank you and "I shall return." Oh yes, and the safe in the room was very convenient too.

The Room With smell of cigarettes.

I had to sleep on the sofa the only night I stayed. I don't think the room was cleaned, there was hair on the pillows, in the tub, and sheets had fresh stains. I will never stay at this chain again. I checked out and went to another hotel the next morning.

The price is great for the location, and staff were very friendly; however; a shower lasting longer than 5 minutes resulted in cold showers for the remaining occupants of my room, as well as the adjoining room. By the 3rd day of my stay, my toilet, as well as the toilet in the adjoing room backed up simultaneously. I will never book at this hotel again

For what it was it's not that bad. The staff was excellent, I guess I just expected more from the hotel.

The air control is horrible. I was extremely hot. The Tv's are small and old. The water does not get hot. Walls are thin. You can hear doors close/slam. Small rooms for price. Safe area though.

The first day I walked in to confirm my room, the staff made me feel welcome, rooms were clean, breakfast was good!! Will def stay at this location again.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was spotless, and comfortable. The free breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

The room was not good, I had to change rooms 3 times and still not satisfied with the cleanliness. Very surprised because the surrounding area is nice a full of hotels.

This hotel was perfect for me. Close to my son and in a great neighborhood. The room itself was small, but I spent very little time there. For the price it can't be beat. The staff was first class. Especially the weekend desk manager. He ensured I had everything I needed for my stay. I will definitely use Microtel in the future.

The staff was efficient and friendly. The room lacked detailed cleaning but was comfortable. Just what a salesman needs when it comes to price and comfort.

For those who have not stayed at a Microtel, the rooms are micro and there is not much walking space around the bed. The TV is perched atop the closet and a microwave oven sits precariously on the edge of the desk that has the side cut off at 45 degrees to allow adequate walking space without bumping into the furniture. There is no fridge. There is a safe in the closet which makes hanging long coats a challenge. Rooms and common areas are kept clean. Bed is comfortable and A/C works well. Comfortable for one or two nights stay. If you need to work in the room, it is cramped. Internet via Wi-Fi and Ethernet socket. You must provide your own Ethernet cable. Connection is fast and not severely crippled as in other hotels that provide free service, but charge for an upgrade to a faster connection. Breakfast includes cereal, muffins and coffee. If you want something more substantial, I suggest you do a web search for breakfast restaurants in the area. Laundry facilities are available and no coins are needed. Staff members are very helpful and courteous. If you plan on a longer stay, I suggest you book a suite that is comparable to a regular hotel room. I would stay here again for the great location and accommodating staff.
