Jin Jiang Pacific Hotel Shanghai - שנגחאי

This location is fantastic, but the lack of wireless internet access and poor air conditioning can be a problem.

Great location within Shanghai Centre, you can easily find your way around if you have a smartphone, but locals are pretty helpful if you need directions and speak English. The Jin Jiang Pacific Hotel has made a very nice impression on me and I certainly will be back soon when I have meetings in Shanghai.

Loved views of the park opposite and city lights at night. Staff were helpful and our accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The location is totally central right at the beginning of East Nanjing Road (pedestrian street) and only 3 stops from the train/bus station. It was great! The service was amazing and all the staff are super friendly and courteous. We had an issue with the heating in our room and they immediately set up a new room for us just a few doors down and they came and helped us move our things. So nice!

Overall was good. However, the front desk service needs improvements. One or two of the staff have good service but the others are very poor, making faces at us after we checked twice with them on the same thing. Front office desk and concierge lack knowledge of Shanghai and couldn't provide information on shopping and touristic areas and don't seems to know popular areas in Shanghai such as where Milfun is and where the Cool docks is. They don't seems to have heard of these 2 places even when we showed them the Chinese map.

Very convenient and value for money. Definitely a returner for me.

Comfortable beds and clean room. Next door to the People's Square Station.

Location, Location, Location!! Pacific Hotel is just across from People's Park and People's Square subway Station. Turn left from the hotel and New World City (department store) is just round the corner. Cross the road and you are at Nanjing Pedestrian mall with lots of shopping and food option. The hotel has an old world charm. Rooms and furnishings are rather old but not a big issue. A point to note : the main entrance/ reception is on the 2nd floor and accessible via 2 flights of stairs.

Nice comfortable hotel. Perfect location for shopping, coffee, restaurants. Station 100 metres, mall 150 metres. Had trouble with coffee machine in room and hotel coffee served cold only minor setbacks. Will stay at hotel next visit.

Out of the four hotels I stayed in during the trip, this was my favorite one. However, the hotel did not refund my security deposit of 500rmb. The staff speak very limited English and I have to deal with them from the US through a friend's mother and it is very frustrating. They say that I need to wait and the charge will drop off but it's been a month and it's still there. All the other hotel refunded the deposit immediately and it never even appeared on my bill. Very unhappy!

the staff at the desk were not friendly. the staff who helped us get a taxi were great but overall the staff at the desk didn't even smile. I don't mind if it was that kind of service on the street or in stores but at a hotel where service is suppose to be at high priority this hotel didn't have any of it.

It is great value exceeded and my expectations. The staffs were friendly and very helpful to my request for information and directions. The beds are clean and comfortable and it comes with a complimentary internet in my room. Shops are all around it. There is a wide range of restaurants within walking distance to meet any budget. Hop-on hop-off buses, train,taxis etc. paare all near by. The hotel is highly recommended for its rating.

Second time stay. The room is not as spacious as previous stay, even booked at same room rate. The best is the location: surrounded by various restaurants, and subway is just cross street, by which you can arrive either airport without spend $$$ on taxi at all. Happy stay there.

Stay went well. Terrific location with just a short walk to the Nanjing pedestrian mall with mega shopping and a longer but definitely manageable walk to the Bund. Subway is right across the street. Staff is congenial. Could have done a better job of cleaning the room prior to our arrival. Otherwise the room is comfortable.

I only stayed one night for business trip. It was my first time to Shanghai. My friend suggested to stay near people.s squire so this hotel was the one near by everything.. Convenient location for shopping and transit. Hotel was okay for the price.. I was satisfied with this hotel..

Pretty spacious room for standard room. Best location you could ever expect. I found a night dim sum restaurant at 12midnight around corner; I went a Chinese breakfast store at 6am for nice breakfast - also around corner! A park just across street where you can see people doing exercise and a Starbucks in the park. Many good restaurants and shopping malls in walking distance. Oh, the top level branded hair salon is next door, I was very happy at the haircut. It made me look very nice.

First impression when step in to the hotel - vintage type . Good location just 3 min walk to the Nanjing road shopping area and the Subway is just opposite of the hotel.. At the back of the hotel Huang Hei Road got many eating places like siu long bao and few good restaurant serve good food but a bit pricely.. The only bad encounter is the bell boy complaint in chinese language that I am paying less tip to him which I am a Malaysian that can understand 5 languages .. Will stay in ths hotel for my next trip.

Great spot, right in the middle of everything, friendly staff and good old fashioned service.

Good location, next metro and people square. The bund just 10 mins walk, it was centre of the city.

The hotel is worn out and basic - but clean and with a good location.

Rooms look better than historic exterior. Efficient check in & check out. Good value for money. Lots of good food behind hotel

Location is great, close to metro lines, People's Square and Nanjing Road. Service isn't great but at least, all staff speak very good English.

Location was fantastic. Room was great value for money.

Hotel was very old and in dire need of a facelift. I went for one night only with a few friends and we went shopping during the day and clubbing at night, so the location was PERFECT for both of those activities.

Located on People's Square it is a great spot. The hotel has been largely restored. My room was newly renovated and very comfortable. Restaurants not up to first standards, but plenty of options around. An excellent choice, especially good value.

My husband and I spent 4 days at the Pacific Hotel Shanghai. We had a 'Classic King with view' room. It was very comfortable with desk, armchairs, great bed, good bathroom, safe, good clothes storage area and a terrific outlook over Peoples Square with windows you could open and that kept the noise out when closed. The hotel has a rather strange entry where you must walk up a large flight of stairs to reach reception. There were many good restaurants nearby. Would certainly choose to stay there again.

Difficult to find and a little old fashioned but the room was a big size pity my room did not face out onto the river and the city. Would be nice to have had a river view.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location is excellent. People square subway was accross the road. Pedestrian street was next to the hotel. The bus tour for the city starting point was also accross the street. This hotel has the best location I would stay in this hotel whenever I will visit shanghai again

This is my fourth time in Shanghai. For a tourist week, great location, literally overlooking People's Square. Historic hotel, majestic buildings and rooms. Helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed. There's so much to do, see, and eat in the area that we didn't even look into the hotel's own restaurant etc.

The hotel is located very near to the famous shopping walking street. Underground is just across the street. Nice hotel with big rooms. Great value for money.

Good Location. Excellent Service. We have a wonderful stay in Jin jiang Pacific Hotel.

We carried our own luggage from lobby to side of road to wait for arrival of our limo. Porter just carried our luggage from sidewalk to the car boot. We gave him a tip of 4 yuan which he felt was too little and he let it rolled down to the sidewalk from his palm and purposely exclaimed out loud to the other porters that this is not a tip. After we got into our car and close the door, he opened the door and loudly told us that the tip we have given is too small. We shouldn't have given him anything!

인민광장역 8번출구 바로 앞이라 찾기 쉬운 위치였지만 진장퍼시픽아 아님 진먼 한문으로 금문대주점이여서 혼동이 있었습니다. 4층객실인데 실제로는 3층과 4층사이에 위치해 있었고 높은층은 100RMB를 charge로 요구하더군요. 그래서 그냥 4층으로 투숙했는데 창밖이 바로 건물이여서 view는 기대하심 안되요. 객실은 깨끗하고 좋았습니다.

Vill du ha ett billigt hotell med ett bra läge i Shanghai kan jag rekommendera det här. Det är nära T-banan och det finns gott om taxibilar. På den sämre sidan är att rummet och hotellet stank utav cigarettrök. Checka in före den angivna tiden gick inte om vi inte hade uppgraderat rummet. Sådana fånerier är inte jag sugen på efter en lång flygresa, så istället för att börja med ett bra intryck fick dom mig att aldrig mer boka detta hotell.

외관부터 호텔내 여기저기 오래된 상해의 옛정취를 물씬 느낄수 있는 낭만적인 곳이네요.. 단지 최신시설의 부족으로 약간 불편함감이 없지 않지만....가격대비 아주 훌륭합니다... 대체로 만족스럽네요...난징과 접해있고 와탄까지도 걸어서 20분 정도니... 대중교통 없이도 상해도심을 돌아보니 적당합니다

Mycket positivt överaskad eftersom priset är så pass lågt. Vi spenderade 1 månad i hotellet och är mycket nöjda.

Bel hôtel qui sent bon l'encaustique ! très bon accueil, chambre belle et propre. Les seuls bémols sont la vue et la lumière ! En effet : les fenêtres de notre chambre donnaient sur un mur.. personnel disponible et agréable, belle situation. l'hôtel dispose d'un bar (si vous prenez du vin rouge, il vous sera servi très frais.. trop.. pour nos habitudes françaises! Le wifi n'est disponible que dans le bar et devant l'hôtel, malheureusement pas dans les chambres. L'hôtel est très bien situé, juste à côté du radisson sur la place people square, à 2 pas du métro et à côté des rues animées, et du bund.

위치가 매우 좋고 ( 인민광장 8번출구 바로 앞), 침구가 너무 편해서 잠을 잘 잘수 있어 좋았어요. 근데 구글지도에는 위치가 잘못 나와있는거 같네요; 호텔 입구에 계단이 있어서 캐리어를 들고가기가 힘들지만 그 외에는 가격대비 좋습니다!
