it was nice desk staff very good maid service ok but didnt stock tishue an tp but room kept clean an they gave us extra pillows when asked i have no problem staying there again

Easy to find, conveniently close to the highway and Cleveland

My husband & I visited this hotel & surrounding area for our 1st wedding anniversary. We rally enjoyed ourselves, we stayed in the King room-the staff was very nice & helpful, we were very close to downtown attractions & westlake attractions. Very close to good restaurant. We enjoyed our weekend a good w ould high recommend the Super 8 westlake again & stay also

For the price, I was expecting a hotel that you would rather sleep outside than the bed you just rented. But, the service was actually above and beyond & won't hesitate to stay again. You have to remember this isn't a hotel that is newly built and things aren't going to be perfect. The hospitality and free breakfast was MUCH more than a hotel we stayed at just two weeks earlier in Cleveland area. And we paid almost twice. Although it was a relatively new hotel, the breakfast and hospitality were pretty much a zero.

Decent rate. What you would expect? It was a super 8.

Condition of the hotel is fine. The breakfast area is convenient for quick eats, but is a little cramped. The front desk person I encountered was helpful. The hotel primarily seems to be a place to pause briefly for those in transit on longer journeys, but the place is a good spot for looking around the neighborhoods south and east of Cleveland.

Lodging was passable. Room was large, since there was only one chair and table. Light fixture in bathroom was a problem, since it took minutes to come on. But seeing how it was only a place to sleep at night, it worked.

Meet my needs. Would stay again.

We stay at this Super 8 because it is close to the Interstate, affordable, and near things we want to do. There isn't much within walking distance, but within 10 minutes driving there's a mall, many restaurants, and nice neighborhoods. The room was clean which goes a long ways. The beds are not particularly comfortable, but it serves the purpose of a place to sleep. If you aren't going to spend much time in your room, it does ok.

Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Motel could use some updating but was clean for the most part. No bed bugs....I checked .

The mattress was yellow and coming apart, the carpet was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting. I know that for the price I shouldn't have expected a lot, but this was horrific....there is a red roof closer to the mall that is remodeled and 10x's nicer. I relocated.

it was ok the only thing that really disappointed me was that i had the do not disturb sign on the door on sunday morning and had knocking on the door at 9:30 am by your cleaning staff (do they not know how to READ??) and a phone call that the front desk said they did not put through so im going to assume that was the cleaning staff??? just because they want to hurry and get finished thats their problem i believe check out is 12:00 if i am wrong about that please inform me. so i rated my stay poorly because i expect to be able to sleep in until i have to check out and i was facing a 7 hour drive home.

My view of a hotel is its a place to sleep, shower, and maybe get breakfast. I would have given it a 5 for comfort except the A/C was difficult to set to a comfortable temp. Otherwise, the room was clean with a big bathroom, desk to set up the laptop on. The neighborhood got a 3 since there's an abandoned restaurant next door and the rest is in a light industrial setting so you have to drive a little to get food, but D&B, Panera, McD's are all within a mile. Breakfast included self-serve waffles, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice, and fresh donuts so that will save you $7-10/day in breakfast. Staff was friendly and willing to help.

Overall, everything was fine. It worked for what we were in town for and was at a very reasonable price.

It's a Super 8, so you shouldn't be expecting anything too fancy. There was one apathetic desk lady, but other than that, no problems. Good breakfast provided, good TV package. The sink outside of the bathroom proved to be helpful

We arrived at the hotel at 3:30 to check in and were informed that they were overbooked. It took well over an hour for them to check us into the last 4 rooms they had available. Instead of the 4 non-smoking rooms we reserved, we got 3 smoking rooms which smelled horrible and 1 non-smoking room. The rooms were mostly clean, but definatly not maintained well. The only reason we stayed was because of the location and rate. Probably would drive a little further and pay a little more for another hotel next time.

We went to visit my in-laws in the Cleveland area and needed a place to stay. This hotel fit the bill. It is conveniently located by I-90 in Westlake. Mr relatives and a major shopping mall is were less than 10 minutes away. The kids liked it because of the pool. (this is an outdoor pool...something to remember for winter travel) The complimentary breakfast consisted of batter-baked waffles, cereal, donuts/muffins, oatmeal and yogart. Juices, milk and coffee were also available. It was a nice stay and a place to sleep.

We had good service. Very clean room. The pool was well kept. My favorite was the waffle making station at the breakfast bar.

Overall good say. Liked that checkout was noon!

Room was not clean. Room was very damp. Food was left on table when we came in. Mattresses were stained and dirty. Sink was cracked throughout. Towl bar ripped off bathroom wall. Bathroom needed a good scrubbbing. People were checking in at 2 am. and dragging their luggage up stairs outside our room. Air conditioning was extremely loud and woke us up everytime it came off and on. Had to cancel next 2 nights reservation.

Not fancy, but it's a decent place to stay if all you need is a bed and shower. Very inexpensive.

Hotel is shabby but comfortable and for the price was a good place to rest your head at the end of the day. Will most likely book it again since it was clean, quiet and close to where we visit.

We stayed here for one night and it was very nice and comfortable stay. We had our 4 month old baby with us and we requested a fridge which we got almost immediately. The room was clean with lcd flat screen tv. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Cleanliness was not the 'maid service' but the age and tub condition and the towels and the bedding, all seemed old.

The location was excellent, access to all highways and yet QUIET. Carrabbas Restaurant right next door. Minutes to Cleveland. The room was a clean, decent room, with a comfortable bed, minus 'frills" like: a luggage rack, hair conditioner, small fridge. (All of which would have been nice.) And the tissue dispenser had been closed up - no more tissues provided, lol. The bathtub was clogged, but maintenance fixed it immediately. Friendly staff. But honestly, the room was spacious; the pool was nice; the price was great; and I will definitely go back again.

it was an ok stay....not great, nothing bad, it was just ok

I had stayed here before for a soccer tournament 2 years ago, and it was a fine stay. But this was awful. The number not on the door should have been the first clue (Room 112 in case someone wants to avoid the room). Upon walking in the room smelled damp. My daughter tried to close the curtain to change and it feel apart. There were small holes along the entire wall above the headboards of the beds. A giant hole was in the wall behind the door of the bathroom. A coffee stain on the bed had us freaked out it might be bed bugs, and to top it off, my daughter tried the blow drier, but it started smoking. Thank God it was only a night. although it was "cheap", it wasn't cheap enough for what we got. Avoid. It will be the last time we stay there, which is too bad, because we like coming to this areas soccer tournaments.

Frustrating at 11:15 p.m. when we could not get into our room. It was looked from the inside as though someone occupied it. We were transfered to another room. Floor needed swept, no waste basket liners and coffemaker did not work.

If all you need is a place to rest your head, this will do. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was adequate, the price was right. It is not a luxury hotel and if you are nervous about stepping out directly to your parked car, this is not the place for you. Towels were well stocked and clean, bed was comfortable. Noisy neighbors could ruin your night. Easy to regulate room temperature. This is bare bones.

I usually book this hotel just because it is the cheapest priced hotel and closest to Dave and Busters. I never really have a problem with the hotel. It is just a cheap place to stay, don't expect any luxuries! One thing I can say about it is that every time I book this hotel, my room has this horrible stench. I don't know if they poor carpet deodorant on the floor to try and cover a smell but it stinks. My boyfriend isn't that bothered by it though.

I stayed at the Super 8 in Westlake because my boyfriend and I wanted to spend the day at Dave and Busters. I have stayed here before and it was always okay. This time I thought that the room we were in kind of smelled weird. Even after we left I could still smell the strange stench on my clothes. Other than that, the room is fine for a one night stay. Everything worked...

The rooms beds were uncomfortable. The fitted sheets kept falling off of the bed.

Very accomidating and friendly.

Even though the hotel was adjacent to the highway, we could not hear road noise in our room. The bathroom light took 15-30 seconds to turn on, and the outside door to our room needed replacing. (There were many empty rooms, and I'm sure they would have given us a new room if we had asked.) Overall, we had a pleasant stay for a great price!

We were visiting family and needed a decent priced hotel just to sleep. The hotel was clean, the staff was nice. Definitely not 5 star quality, but a clean place to rest your head for a good price.

We stopped here as an overnight stop on a longer trip. The hotel is really close to the Interstate, but we could not hear any road noise in our room. There are several good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The free breakfast was adequate for our family. We would definitely stay here again.
