Red Roof Inn Cleveland - Medina - מדינה

Decided to stay here with rest of group in town for basketball tournament. The rate was just ok. I thought breakfast was included, but it certainly didn't satisfy - all cold items, except a toaster for white or brown bread. No bagels, no eggs, nothing hot, except a dispenser for hot water/tea, or instant powdered flavoured coffees. It was not enough for the players for sure, so they all went to Denny's just 5 minutes walk away. The room was as advertised 2 queen beds - The TV worked, and I didn't use the in-room safe. Only one bar of hand soap - no other items such as shampoo, bath soap, so be sure to bring your own. There were plenty of towels. This is definitely a motel, as all rooms are accessed from outside door to each room. Ice machine worked well. Laundry facility but I didn't use it. There was no coffee tea maker in my room. No fridge. Perhaps I needed to ask for a 'deluxe' room? The staff at front for check in were fine/helpful... same with check-out. Wi-fi worked well.

There's nothing fancy here, but for the price the value is great and the hotel staff couldn't be nicer. I stay here every time I go to Medina.

was very cold at check in. finally got heater to work a little the first nite but was very noisy and got little sleep. then it quit the next day. then people checked in behind us in the smoking rooms and the smoke smell was so strong that we couldnt breath so we left.

We wanted to get away just for one night the night of our wedding. The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, everything worked, front desk was friendly, fast check in and check out, places to eat within walking distance. Nothing to complain about.

Room was to small, not much space to walk. It had no refrigerator or microwave or coffee pot. We were displeased about that!!

One Star hotel next door to a Three Star hotel that I will book the next time I am in Medina on business.

I had read mixed reviews, so was a bit apprehensive. However, the room was clean and comfortable, with restaurants close by. The breakfast was basic, but for the price, a pleasant extra. For one night of my trip, I will stay again when I take this route.

We had to travel to Cleveland for a doctor appointment. We booked this hotel and we are so happy that we did. The room was wonderful. I don't know that I have ever stayed in a room that was so clean. I would definitely stay again and you should too

Overall fine at a bargain price, but the heater was so noisy, going on and off throughout the night, leading to loss of sleep.

Just what I needed after a long drive. Nothing over the top, just simple and convenient.

I'm a bit less picky when I'm not paying that much for a room, but I do expect things like the bathroom lights to work, Kleenex boxes that actually have something in them and to get an actual queen sized bed that I paid for, not a full. It was a bunch of small annoyances that made the stay less than perfect, but not bad enough to go to another hotel.

Just a one night stop-over, but can't say I'll use this motel again. Musty smell in the room, but it is an older motel. Carpet and paint need to be refreshed. As far as that goes entire motel needs updating. Breakfast was a joke, but you get what you pay for. The only real complaint was that, from what I could see in the morning, they may have had 10 or so rooms occupied, but the desk put them all together, so we had loudly crying babies on one side and controlled arguing on the other. The problem was the walls are so thin, you could hear everything.

Clean room. Excellent front desk service at both arrival and departure. My ONE and ONLY complaint was the noise from the freeway. Awful! If you stay here make sure you ask for a room on the backside of the Red Roof Inn.

This is a nice place to stay for the money. It isn't fancy, but clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Roof in Medina very much. The room was in very good condition, well stocked with everything we needed, and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and we were very satisfied overall.

Very good basic comfortable hotel, nice staff. Breakfast barely worth the effort which is expected.

My room and the hotel was very clean. The service was great. They had everything we wanted or needed. The hotel has a great location to everything.

The room was nice with a big flat screen. I always bring a HDMI cable and watch a DVD from my laptop. The bed was comfortable and clean. My room was a single queen. A bit smaller than a standard room but fine for me. Breakfast was weak, cereal, juice and muffins. If you just need a motel, then this is a very nice and a great value.

Erica the desk clerk was fantastic, very helpful, friendly and kind. She was personabile and took time with her guest. The continental breakfast wasn't the best and the room was ok. Location was great!

First day found bathtub full of hair. Room was not really clean. Needed to be vacuum. Stayed an extra night and they upped price by $10.00. Will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again.

The hotel was clean and confortable, but the pool was not working when we arrived.

Over all just satisfied. Very thin walls and ceiling. Something I noticed was the people walking in the room above us. Other guest running and load right outside our room. Sounded like they were in our room. The jelly you were serving for the toast was moldy. I did not notice it until my second slice of toast. Your employee took the jelly off the counter and said he would let the manager know.

There is confusion when this motel is listed by internal street name. rather than saying it is on Medina Road. Garmin cannot find it. The room was fine, surroundings quiet and restaurant for breakfast was convenient. I was surprised to find no coffee pot in the room. Stay would be more pleasant if we could make coffee when we awaken early in the morning.

The hotel room was clean, however it did smell musty. Location was convienent for our purpose. A bit upset that the pool was not open despite the 90 heat! No mention of this was made when I called to ask if they had a pool prior to booking the room.

It appeared that the hotel had recently been renovated. It was very clean and quiet. Conveniently located with regard to the highway, restaurants, shopping. Drive up window for check in was also convenient. My contact with hotel staff was limited but they were friendly on check in and out. If I travel to that area again, I would definitely stay there!

rooms much smaller than the picture makes them out to be the pool was still closed from the winter in june one of the reasons we picked that hotel was the outside pool we were very disappointed

The room was clean. Staff is wonderful at this motel. For the money, it was excellent. Coffee is not the best, wi-fi works well.

Front desk staff was very friendly, the hotel was quiet, but with several restaraunts right across the parking lot. Very convenient, loved the drive thru check in, which would have been great when my kids were young, to not have to drag them all out of the car and then back just to check in. Would stay again. The rooms and beds were clean, got extra pillows from the front desk, and only rated lower on cleanliness because of a large water stain across the ceiling. Nice appointments, but older tube television, although it did include a game remote.

room very old looking, stained carpet, holes in towels, cob webs in windows, and each time I've stayed here, there is black mildew/mold in the seams of the tub surround. Rates were reasonable for the area, and the location is very convienent for us, so that's why we continue to come there. But we dislike the little ironing boards, especially this time since the legs wouldn't even work on it. Our sheets and bed were comfortable, but again, very out dated and torn bedspreads were on the beds.

The location was ideal due to my travels for that weekend. More or less just needed a place to crash for the night and leave the next morning. The staff was very pleasant. I have allergies and asthma so a non-smoking room should be just that. Immediately walking in the office to check in, the 3 previous guest were there to complain about their room smelling of smoke and requesting new rooms. The clerk did just that and I checked in to my room. Exhausted I didn't want the hassle. Walked into my room and immediately smelled the smoke and everything in the room smelled of it as well. I crashed for the night. Waking up and getting ready for the day I found cigarette ash all over the room! Next to the bed, counter tops and tv viewing area. Checking in at 11p and needing sleep I didn't not catch this. I notified the clerk when I checked out how displeased I was for receiving a non smoking room filled with ash and reaked of smoke. His response was, sorry to hear that and walked away. Will never stay at RRI again!

No hot water early in the morning. Sink was clogged and drained very slowly. Used towels were not picked up the next morning. Thermostat was preset and could not advance to make it warmer in room. Very limited T. V. channels. If at all possible, I will not stay at a Red Roof Inn ever again. This was my first time booking a reservation with Hotels.com. I was unaware that as soon as I submitted my credit card number making the reservation, the total amount was charged to my credit card. I have always had the opportunity to cancel my reservation ahead of time if plans changed. I use to travel for work for 36 years and am used to making many reservations. I understand the type of property this is, but the basics of ANY property should be met no matter what brand they represent.

The hotel is really run down. The lighting in the room was terrible and the smoke detector was dangling. I was so glad we only were staying the one night. I won't stay there again. When I checked out, they didn't even have me in their system. Had me as a "no show".
