3 star hotel, 5 star price. Valet parking was way overpriced and slow

This place is great if you are going to a giants game. Just a short walk. The hotel staff was friendly, they let us check in early, a starbucks in the lobby was nice in the morning. The price for parking is RIDICLIOUS!! but thats SF for you. Other than the cost of parking our stay was nice.

The hotel was close to at&t park but parking for a day was 50 dollars.

Stay was lovely - Unfortunately my vehicle came back with two dents and multiple scratches. Check your vehicle before you leave the hotel for dings and dents.

So I decided to stay at this hotel for the reason that I was going to attend a giants game. The location is very convenient if your coming out of town and you don't want to drive back home because you had a couple of drinks. Well in my case I went out to the game on may 3rd with some friends for my birthday. After the game some friends stop by just to hang out for a bit, 15 minutes later I had the security knocking at my door accusing me of having a party in my room and telling me it was my first and final warning and that if he had to come up again we were all going to be kicked out. Honestly we were not having having a party at all and it was the most embarrassing and disrespectful thing I had to face in front of my buddys. This was just so ridiculous of them. I would honestly be better off at a motel 6 in downtown. I hope management gets this issue fix before they go around accusing their guest of having partys. I paid a big amount of money to stay here for just a couple of hours and I got treated so bad. I will never go back and ill make sure to give everyone else who decides to stay here a heads up before they decide to book this place.

Great hotel to stay at if you're going to a Giants game or want to be near SOMA. Beds were way too soft, there stains in the carpet, and our shower head was broken. Customer service was great though and took care of the shower head immediately.

Very satisfied with our stay at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown SFO (4 nights). Great hotel for a great price! Room rate included complimentary wireless internet. On site Starbucks cafe and coin laundry facility were very convenient. Close to public transportation and cabs- very easy to get around.

I was a little offended upon arrival to see $50 a night valet parking as my only option. But decently priced hotel with a good location otherwise.

Nice clean hotel with amenities

Great location, nice rooms, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

I heart this hotel. It's the one I've wanted to book for all my business trips, since it's just half a block from my office. It's usually always full but this time, I was lucky enough to get a room thanks to Hotels.com! Loved the friendly service from the front desk and housekeeping, but the BEST was the lovely folks who handle room service! They were so pleasant on the phone, the people who delivered were fantastic, and the follow-up call made me smile. Oh, and the food was yummy too. My favorites were the caprese sandwich, crispy fries, and the fresh salads. The only downside is that I was given an ADA-compliant room, so instead of a tub, there was a shower with one of those built-in, fold-down seats. (That wouldn't be a big deal except that since this was my first full week away from the kids, I had actually looked forward to a long, relaxing bubble bath and had even brought my bath crystals.) I could've asked for a room change but again, it wasn't a big deal. Love that there's a Starbucks adjoining the lobby, and a bar/grill too - although note to work-a-holics: room service also delivers drinks. ;-)

The room was among the most comfortable we have ever had. The bed was great, and the climate system was very responsive. The hotel, which is located in the financial district, is only three blocks from a BART station. Although the area is quiet on the weekends, a few restaurants on the same street were open for lunch. There is a Starbucks in the lobby where guests can get a quick breakfast and healthy snacks.

Took my grand daughters to SF for a couple days and our stay at the Courtyard was great? The indoor pool was a huge hit with the girls and the location was great, with easy access to Yerba Buena gardens and other fun kids spots.

Had a great experince!

The front desk staff was great -- all really nice and helpful! Also, the room service lady was very sweet (& the room service food delicious). We also had a meeting in one of the conference rooms and everything was very good (food, service, etc.). The pool & jacuzzi are very nice (with good hours of 5am-11pm). Also, 24hr. fitness center. Perfect location for my purposes (business), but seems like it'd be pretty good overall. Would like to see safes added to the rooms (safety deposit boxes availabe at front desk). Would also like a mini bar w/ drinks/snacks to purchase in the room, & would like breakfast room service offered (right now, only dinner from 5-10pm). Oh, & a fan in the bathroom for air circulation. ;-) Lastly, I like to be able to view my hotel portfolio on the TV -- this didn't seem to be offered. Free Wifi awesome, though. Overall excellent! :-)

The hotel staff was friendly and healthy. The hotel was OK, not great, nothing wrong.

The staff were polite and prompt. Did not push unsolicited service. Straight answers to quesitons. Very responsive. I am impressed.

Picked this hotel for the name, location and price. I stayed for 3 nights with my wife and 2 kids in a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel itself is in pristine condition from what I could see. Looks new. They put us on the top floor (18th) and the view was nice. The staff were friendly and it was nice to have a Starbucks on the premises. Although the hours are odd (7AM-noon, I think), we only used it for breakfast so it was perfect for us. The room did not have a refrigerator, which most hotels nowadays do. Parking is 45+tax for the night. I found that to be too expensive, but we found a cheaper alternative: park on the street outside of the hotel and pay the meter. Meters stop operating at 6pm, and we did not get to the hotel until after 8pm every day, so we parked for cheap. If you're not leaving before 7AM, when they start charging, simply take note of the pay-by-phone info on the meter, set an alarm for 6:58am and call to pay for up to 4 hours at $2.50/hr. It saved us a lot of money. Sundays meters start charging at noon. The area around the hotel is quiet at night, but we did see a few nearby spots to eat and a bar. Location of the hotel is great. It's on the very East side of downtown, but close enough to get to the tourist areas quickly by car or public transportation. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again, especially at the rate we got through Hotels dot com.

This hotel has a very convenient location, easy walking distance to Market Street, Union Sq etc. Good and welcoming service from all staff. Rooms are large and very clean. Free WiFi worked well. All round, I'd recommend the hotel for either a leisure or business visit to San Francisco.

dissapointed about not having self parking. No parking streets either. The only choice is valet parking for $45 per day.

Great Service. Convenient location.

My stay was fine. The hotel had all the amenities but no frills.

We loved the location -- very convenient for sightseeing and public transportation but away from the huge crowds of Union Square. Great restaurants in walking distance. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful; food in the hotel is very limited -- breakfast buffet is very good but after a week we got tired of it.

Although this hotel had clean rooms and was in a good area, this hotel seemed a but rundown for a Marriott. It was disappointing that the bar was closed 4 of the 5 days of our trip.

Room was spacious. Bed was really comfortable. Location was perfect in a nice part of financial district. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Pretty good price (got 110 a night for 2 nights). Room is pretty spacious. Towels were slightly dirty (but then again, I have OCD). Location was great! Next to everything. 24-hour market in case you need anything. Starbucks in lobby is a plus. Service can be hit or miss. Front desk service wasn't great. The room service guy was wonderful though. All in all, a good experience though.

It was really nice to stay here.

Although I had a short stay, the staff helped me as if I were the most important guest in the hotel. I arrived early in the morning, just hoping to drop off my bags so that I didn't have to carry them all over the city until 3:00. They allowed me to check into my room early. They also found a nearby dry cleaner for a last minute clothing emergency. My room had a great view of the Bay Bridge. The hotel was quiet, and unlike many other non-smoking hotels, this one really was smoke-free.

I'm becoming a big fan of the Marriott Courtyard chain, the hotels are really nice, and clean, with big rooms. My only knock is that the in hotel WiFi was really slow, it was like using a modem. Since I was here for work, that made it a little hard to get work done.

good service; friednly employees, good hotel location

Don't stay in the handicap room if you don't have to as water gets on the floor during your shower. Also, toilets not flushing properly which is not a fun surprise in the middle of the night.
