While advertised as a non-smoking room, it was very obvious that a smoker was in the room at some time...very unpleasant to non-smokers. Rooms need to be updated to the modern age.

I woke up at 2:30am by some guy trying to kick down the next door so he could get to some girl inside . There is no number on phones to call the office so just as I was ready to call 911 the mgr or securiy man came & told them to leave and the police were on their way. Shortly the police came and talked to the girl (s) next door for a long time. Needless to say I had a hard time getting back to sleep.

decent nicely updated room,bed was great,entry door & windows need updating could see sunlight through closed room door if there had been snowstorm we would have had drift inside room 143

We were just passing through. I like pillow-top beds, it wasn't. This is your old motel type, outside door room. It was OK but the best was the attached eating establishment and bar, great after a day on the road.

We moved from another hotel that was cleaning the pool and chemical smell throughout the hotel for days. We upgraded to an "executive" room and our outside door would not close tightly. The breakfast in the morning was cold. On the plus side, the room was comfortable as were the beds and the television was nice.

Room was in poor condition and not very clean no blow dryer or iron. I won't stay here again.

I would only stay at the executive rooms but I was very impressed how clean and nice they were. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The outside seemed a bit dated but once you got into the lobby it really looked nice. Our room was comfortable with a nice flat screen TV. We got an off season rate which really made this place a sweet deal. Breakfast was good. Nice selection of things. We stayed at another hotel that had less breakfast to offer and it was more expensive to stay. We will definately look into staying here again when we come back to town.

It was a good place to stay for a quick weekend trip.

Maybe worth 25- 30.00 a night at best. My room was awful...not anything like pic / description. Was 70's decor, curtains were rotting!! Tube TV turn down the bed to find hairs on blankets! Other members of my party had nice rooms. Ugh!!! Have pics to prove it!!

My wife and daughter stayed here where we have stayed before, including my honeymoon night 28 years ago. The hotel itself has been upgraded and is nice. My wife had an argument with the front desk about her reservation and my daughter had to intervene when the front desk was being rude to a little girl guest about printing something on the computer. The food on the breakfast buffet was okay except not very warm. My wife stated she wishes not to stay there in the future.

i had get get a room in a pinch and this hotel did nicely the staff was very friendly but the room did seem dated i had a smoking room it was the only option left and it smelt really clean i would not have guessed it was a smoking room. all in all its was a good room it could have been nicer but at least it felt like a safe facility

Hotel was clean ,location was pretty good. The only problem we had was there was alot of noise, people outside talking loud, some of the people were alittle shady, kinda scared to go outside alone.

Although the room itself was nice, the service was not. We could not check in until 4, and although we realize check in is 4, Never have we been told we couldn't check in until then. What were we to do for 2 hours?Also when we returned from our gathering that night at ten pm, the lounge was Closed!! That was one of the reason we stayed there, was to enjoy a couple cocktails with friends and not have to worry about the drive. Al in all we were very disappointed.

The new, refurbished rooms are a nice, comfortable addiition to an aging Country Inn. The old, smoking rooms are not acceptable for a stay here. The front desk help was slow and inexperienced until the supervisor came in at 3pm. Service improved at that point. The courtyard pool area is spacious, but aging and needs an upgrade. Overall a descent stay.... I have had better, but I have had much, much worse. Would I stay again??? Probably!

In Town for a four day Auction. Motel was clean enough, had adequate parking and was conveniently located.

We liked the inner courtyard.We enjoyed it.

I bought the upgraded room, Excellent choice. Rooms have been redone and moderized. Overall excellent room for the value.

Place was badly in need of updating. Beds uncomfortable. Noisy. Over-priced for an old motel in Nebraska.

The pool is nice (outdoor) but the hours are limited from 9-9. The room we had was lousy. Every noise outside our room came right in, including the teens playing baseball at 1am in the central courtyard. The hotel did nothing until I called. In addition to being quite small, the room was tired and old with decor, furniture (several pieces broken) and bathroom from at least 30 years ago. We had blood spots on our sheets (staff was quick to show with replacements) and the only power outlet we saw had a power strip on it feeding 5 devices. The breakfast area was an afterthought to try and compete and they just don't have enough room to do it right (again, the hours were very limited and ended at 9am)

The pool area is the main attraction to this hotel. The breakfast was above average. The mattress was very soft and was the one thing that I found disappointing. Having a recliner in the king size bed room was a nice touch. It was a good value for the money.

Front Desk was able to help us with all our needs (Iron, ironing board, extra pillows and hair dryer)...everything we forgot to bring!! Thanks!

A great motel! The staff was very helpful and the rooms, while rather old, were clean and well maintained. The swimming pool was clean and the poolside bar made it easy to enjoy the warm afternoons. A free breakfast was served from 6 until 9 with the standard fare. All was well prepared and presented. Large tables and comfortable chairs made for a great way to start the day. The on- site restaurant was outstanding as well as convenient. A wide variety of menu items and reasonable pricing made this a favorite for our dinners. You can’t go wrong staying here!

The room was fine for our purposes, but it was a little small. We also upgraded to what was referred to as 2 queen beds. They were clearly not queens, though they were comfortable. There were almonds on the floor our first night, and a soaked bath mat we left in the tub to be cleaned, was returned to the bathroom, still wet. The complimentary breakfast was good, but should have been available longer than 6-9 AM. We arrived about 8:50, as did another group of guests, and the staff were openly complaining in front of all of us about not getting things done by 9. Very unprofessional! None of the information I received said we had to be FINISHED eating and cleaning up our plates by 9 AM. The pool was nice, especially for a hot day's swim. All in all, it was fine, it just would not be my first choice to stay in Norfolk.

The room is not clean at all, the toilet was filty you could see day light around the door when it is closed. Also the pillows are about a inch thick and not very comfortable at all. The price we paid in my opinon is about twice as much as we should have paid.

Had some difficulty checking in. Front desk said we reserved 2 rooms. We had our print out sheet with us. They said on-line bookings often come in double. I don't know about that nor understand. We had reserved a King non-smoking and were given a King smoking. Called front desk and they said to come up and they'd give us a non-smoking. At first they wanted to give us a non-smoking double. We stated that we had booked a Non-Smoking King and that's what we wanted. We were then given the Non-Smoking King. Didn't think that hassle should have occurred. Our reservation print out specifically stated the King Non-Smoking room and that's what we had paid for. After that, all went well. We were staying there with others who were in town to attend a 50 year high school reunion and we enjoyed being together.

It suited our purpose. No complaints.

I renjoyed my stay and would go back again.

Heard it was a decent hotel, and for a traveling buisnessman it would be fine. However, with two small children the hotel maintenance needed improvement. We had two outlets without coverplates. Also, the room was rather small, and the bathroom could have used a thorough cleaning.

Overall we had a good stay. Wish the complimentary breakfast ran alittle longer, however breakfast in the Bistro was really good and the wait staff was very friendly. Check in and out staff was very friendly as well.

Overall not a bad little spot. The pool is very nice, but wasn't heated enough for a dip for a chilly labor day weekend. I booked the hotel for two nights but didn't notice that my keycard sleeve said one night until after another guest walked in on me while I was in the bathroom. Which explains why my key didn't work after the first night and why housekeeping wondered if I was checking out. They apparently don't clean under the bed since the second night I noticed a pair of socks under there and they clearly weren't mine. When I did check out after the second night and told the front desk person about the confusion and my room being booked again by someone else (which I would think housekeeping would have had some sort of system saying who were still in rooms, but maybe thats the front desks job) I only got a bewildered look from the young lady at the front desk. I wasn't looking for any of my money back but some sort of apology would have been nice. Atleast to have the mistake acknowledged. But for a small town and the right price it really wasn't a bad little hotel. I did not eat at the restaurant there so I can't critique that. I will say the patio in the courtyard that is also behind the restaurant remained littered with beer cans and shot glasses from guests the night before having a good time. The area wasn't picked up until well after 6pm the next day.

the hotel pool is the highlight of the hotel, its like a dimond in the ruff. the 1st nite we stayed we got a room with 2beds that were so uncomfortable and hard and old. we had friendlier service from the maids who helped us switch rooms with 2 pillow top beds and that was much better. i would recomend this hotel but when you reserver a room request it be in the courtyard facing the pool and request a room with the pillow top beds. the resurant there was ok the chicken oscar wasent that good but my man enjoyed the all you can eat walley.

This hotel has a lot of potential. You need to upgrade to the remodel rooms. The old rooms are not good at all, however the updated rooms are quite nice (a bit overpriced, but nice). The bar restaurant and overall layout of this hotel is decent. The chairs in the lobby area (where breakfast is served) are in bad shape. They are worn and very dirty looking. I have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times and I am very surprised they have not replaced these lobby chairs. They leave a nasty impression!They also need to have a better dishwashing service because in the bar and elsewhere, every glass I had was grossly dirty. I used to go cups instead. The staff wasn't rude however, they need to realize they are in the hospitality business. There is lots of room for improvement in this area though out the hotel and bar. This is a decent place, so much room for potential if they would focus on a few issues.

It was very confortable! The breakfast was excellent!

This hotel is great, the rooms are completely renovated and they are beautiful. The beds are amazing and the room was spotless. Right in the middle of town close to everything you could need. If I ever make it back to Norfolk this is where I'm staying.
