Rooms very nice location was great will stay again

When we arrived at the hotel there was not a sign for Preachtree but for a Microtel. We had been traveling for a while and needed to use the restroom so my wife went into the hotel with our daughter while I double checked the address on the GPS. When my wife asked where the restroom were the attendant answered back that restrooms are for guest only. Once we realized this was the correct hotel we went to check in only to find that there would be an additional 7% charge for increased utilities. We said we weren't willing to pay and we were told we wouldn't have to this time. Once we entered the room we saw that there was hair everywhere. All over the beds, in the bathroom and all on the floor. How this could be misses by the cleaning person is beyond me. There was also a very foul odor in the room that smelled somewhat like Indian food (heavy curry). We decided not to stay and was refunded our money. I guess to make a point the counter attendant call the cleaning person and cussed her out in front of us as though that would make things better.

I saw a roach crawling on the shower curtain while I was taking a shower!!! After a long day of sightseeing all I wanted was to go back to the room, take a shower and go to sleep. Unfortunately I was grossed out in the shower making it hard for me to sleep. We all know the saying right, "where you see one roach there are hundreds more"! The place also smelt like chlorine from the lobby, through the halls to the room. I would assume this is because of the indoor pool. I was expecting fancy for the amount of money I spent but I was expecting bug free!

Great except for locating it...as of our trip it did not have a sign the said Peachtree Inn, but instead said Microtel...we had to go in and ask where it was and they informed us we had found it.

The room was really nice! just couldn't find at first because of the name on the sign, but overall it was a good hotel.

Hotel was ok... Pool had WAY too much chlorine, hurt my lungs and my eyes were beet red in seconds. Had to leave pool area early due to this. Only given 2 towels for 4 people. Asked repeatedly for 2 more towels for over 1 1/2 hours and ended up reusing wet towels beause the towels never came even though we were told over and over they were on their way. Trash was still on floor (under heater) from last occupant. Beds were comfy and that's what we wanted most of all, and no bugs of course.

We just needed a place to stay on our way to Florida. We had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves. Not too much to choose from for breakfast, but we made due.

For starters, the hotel is listed as Peachtree Inn & Suites, but if thats what you're looking for you will NEVER find it. The hotel is merely labeled as Microtel Inn & Suites. No Peachtree listed anywhere. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was incredibly friendly and very helpful, above average. They do indeed have an indoor pool, but it's very small. Those are the good qualities of the room. When we first went to find our room the door to a linen room was open and we could see employees eating in the linen room and the entire floor (even in our room) had an overpowering smell of curry. Upon entering our room we first noticed that both bedspreads had visible tears in them. The "continental breakfast" consisted of stale bagels and muffins, stale cereal, my daughter couldn't even eat it. The lady working the desk the morning of our checkout was very rude. Overall, I can say Hotels.com made the whole process incredibly easy, but I will never stay at that hotel again. EVER.

we traveled with several children and the walls were too thin. we had several complaints from the staff that we were being too loud...but it is hard to tell a five year old to quiet down and walk softer...especially when on vacation. The pool and hot tub were awesome! overall it was better than expected...just FYI if you know you walk hard request the bottom floor :)

Admittedly, based on the reviews, I thought that it would be less than desirable. However we had a very nice day especially for the price. However, we had a very nice stay, especially for the price.

I don't recommend this hotel. First, this hotel is actually a Microtel, not Peachtree Inn and Suites, so it was difficult to find. Secondly, we requested a non-smoking room, and it was a smoking room. Third, the whole second floor smelled like a swimming pool. Fourth, there were stains on the blanket that were clearly NOT from coffee, other beverages, or food. I would not recommend this hotel. We would have gone to another hotel in town except we had already paid for this one through Hotels.com and everything else was booked all over town.

This hotel was a dump!!!! And smelled like mold

My room looked like someone had already slept in it!!! But after being on the road for 8 hrs, it was better than my car. The front desk lady that worked the late shift was the only nice thing about the hotel.

The room was large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was just the right temperature. The breakfast was less than desireable, but I did not rent the room to eat and there were other choices of places to go for breakfast. Could not go into the Jacuzzi...way too hot. Otherwise I was very satisfied with the room, and the employees.

good over all but not much of a breakfast

not the best......bad neighborhood.....police cars everywhere, not to good for a good nights sleep. stay away from this one.

It was generally clean until you looked and noticed hair left on the bathroom floor, tub floor stained, holes in towels, grounds not cleaned outside.

We really enjoyed the stay. We will be back Thanks

The only thing it had going for it was a great seafood restaurant across the street, recommended by the nite clerk. The room had a smell it, I know it was clean it just felt dirty. The continental breakfast was just open packages of donuts and muffins. I killed a small roach on the back wall of the breakfast bar. Would not stay here again.

The staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was adequate but not special by any means. The room smelled a little funny but overall, it was fine. The breakfast was awful with only a few things to choose from and the milk tasted funny. So eat out for breakfast and you'll be fine!

The location is perfect for a brief overnight stay. There was nighttime security which made me feel more at ease about checking in late. The front desk person was not the warmest person but she did her job quickly and efficiently so I could get to my room and sleep. I really loved that air was already turned on so it was nice and cool. This was especially Great because I have been hot all day. The breakfast was your average cereal and bagel spread. Not that great but the morning desk person was very friendly and she made up for the meager food. All in all I would stay there again. Older hotel but clean and friendly. Perfect for overnight.

Awful! Do not stay here unless you need to desperately save money. There were police cars present when we drove up. The outside looked decent, however, when we walked down the hall to our room, the wallpaper was pulled away from the way with a fan blowing at it to dry the wall. it stunk of mold everywhere! The people staying there were creepy. The room was okay, clean sheets and bathroom, but smelled. The customer service were elderly people and very friendly. The breakfast was seriously lacking. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, especially with a family.

All the desk clerks that we came across during our stay was very Rude. At check-in the lady was on the phone the whole time on a personal call, i assume it was personal because she said "i know how you like to get freaky"... We arrived at the room, found that the wall across the hall was torn down, sheets covering it, and carrying the horrific odor of Mold! I couldn't believe they even gave me and 3 kids this room! We did get another room on the above floor, the odor wasnt nearly as bad, but still smelt like rot. The cleaning crew seemed the happiest, although they were out in our hall at 7 am, and still there at 4pm.. The pool was so full of the wrong chemicals that the smell about knocked you out when you opened the door, funny, because the water was still dirty! The evening desk clerk sat at the breakfast tables the entire shift with her computer on facebook, her only retreat was to yell at guest that were not even being a problem or chain smoke. The breakfast consisted of stale cereal, stale bagels, stale muffins and your choice of a 2 ounce shot of coffee, apple juice or orange juice.. but no one can complain about a free breakfast. Overall, the place sucked and i'll be glad just to make it out of here safely..

THE HOTEL WAS HORRIBLE. THE ROOMS SMELLED AND THEY WERE NOT CLEAN, THE SMELL OF MILLDEW STAYED IN THE AIR AND THE CARPET WERE WET DUE TO A LEAK WITCH LOOKED TO ME HAS BEEN LEAKING FOR A WHILE. WITH THE LITTLE STAFF THEY DID HAVE, THEY WERE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THE SIGN SAID NO PET ALLOWED, TO ME THATS ALL WHO SHOULD STAY THERE BECAUSE IT NOT FIT FOR HUMANS.

room was great - but even better, the front desk clerk was WONDERFUL - very helpful with directions to local attractions - will definitely stay at Microtel again

This hotel was horrible! While checking in, the attendant told us that we were lucky that our room was clean because they had just laid off most of their housekeepers. Boy, was she wrong. When first walking into the room, the beds were not even made. The sheets had stains on them as well as the couch and the room smelled disgusting. The coffee maker was disgusting and the towels in the bathroom were solied. We had to go to the front desk to ask for a remote for our television as there wasn't one in our room. Location is not close to the beach at all; over 30 mins away. The only thing that we enjoyed was the indoor pool. Dont waste your time or money!!!

My stay was O.K.

Could be much better. I was already in cheaper but much better hotels.

It's your basic low-end cut rate motel room you see in the movies. Plenty of other options right there in the area.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was handicap accessible, laid out just right and clean. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed in Tybee, then here to visit Savannah for a day. The price was unbeatable for the quality.

Was very disappointed with this hotel. The hotel had a musty smell and not well kept at all. The bathroom was not clean, rings and stains in the tub and toilet. Then there was a full size mirror on the wall that was just creepy.

The night clerk changed our room to 1 queen when we specifically requested 2 queen beds Nonsmoking. The clerk finally gave us room with 2 Queen beds=Smoking room. When we got to the room it had a cracked window, cigarette burns on curtain and comforter. The location was easy off and on to I-95. The morning clerk was very helpful and made sure our room on the way back home two days later was exactly what we requested online.
