Toilet was clogged in one of our rooms; maintenance service was slow. Breakfast was adequate but front desk clerk was busy running back and forth between manning the desk and servicing the breakfast room since there was no other help for the latter purpose.

Stayed here to attend the wine and food classic at the air and space museum. There is a free shuttle/tolley that takes you to the museum from this hotet. The breakfast buffet area is rather small compared to other hotels.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms. The free continental breakfast was much better than any other I've experienced. Included hot foods. The only minor thing I would change are the TVs. It would be nice to have flat screens instead of the older models.

It was what we needed, in and out.

Nice place to say. Rooms include microwave and frig. The breakfast was so so. We'd stay there again. The front desk was very friendly.

Generally pretty good. I'd stay there next trip, for sure. Negatives: The hot water though was barely better than lukewarm in the morning. The mini fridge was loud (just unplug it). And the old CRT TV - haven't seen one of those in years! Positive: The wifi signal was strong and good enough for Netflix.

I stayed at the Red Lion in McMinnville, OR for three days on business. I found it to be clean, comfortable, well-maintained, staffed with friendly personnel, and restful. I would have rated the hotel a 4.5 except for a small glitch. On my final full day the shower curtain was taken down (not sure why) and not replaced. I mentioned this to the desk staff in the evening after I returned for the day, they were not able to replace at the time. Not really a big deal. But other than that, this was an excellent bargain. I recommend staying here for anyone visiting the area and needing lodging.

The hotel was fine. Biggest issues were our room had a smell that was uncomfortable.m kind of a disinfectant smell but more like an odor eliminator. Also the ceiling/floor had very little in terms of noise dampening. We could hear every footstep of the people above us.

My friends and I thought that the place was fine. It was in a good location. The room was clean and the breakfast was ok. However, a big problem was that our first room had no heat. We started the heater and then went to get dinner, but the room was freezing when we returned. A very pleasant desk clerk tried to fix things,but he couldn't. So we got a second room and we finally warmed up.

We really thought the hotel was very clean and fairly quiet. Breakfast was a bonus and had eggs, sausage and hashbrowns. We would definitely stay here again.

The biggest problem with the McMinnville Red Lion was that they allow pets on every floor. This meant there was no way to have a room distant enough from yappy little dogs to be able to sleep through the night. They also appeared to cut corners on the breakfast...no butter, no hot chocolate and no fruit other than bananas. Would not stay here again with the dog noise though that could be easily remedied by limiting them to one end of the building on one or two floors. Everyone shouldn't have to lose sleep because of someone's ill-behaved pooch.

Staff was EXCELLENT! Room was upgraded for free to accommodate extra person. Quiet and clean room. Slept like babies!

Great place to stay as usual. Only concern with our room is that since we have two small dogs we needed a pet room and the room may have needed a deeper cleaning after the last pet owners were there as soom of the odors and allergens were definitely still present. Nothing that will keep us from going again though. Love staying here!

Best option for area. For the price range very good. Staff helpful. Hotel clean and in good condition. Not a luxurious hotel or B & B, but everything it is advertised. Stayed before and will again.

convenient and comfortable

QUIET AND BEAUTIFUL

The room was very large and convenient to McMinnville downtown. Will definitely stay here again.

The rooms were very quiet and spacious for our family of 4 living there for 4 days. 1/4 mile to the Evergreen Air & Space Museum and Waterpark, just a short drive to the downtown shopping and restaurants. The front desk clerks were always cheerful and helpful. The breakfast had some hot items like waffles and sausage, but pretty basic continental - nothing to eat if you are low carb or gluten free.

Friendly staff a plus. No hair conditioner a negative. Pool and a jacuzzi a plus. Breakfast Bar a plus, but minimal. comfortable bed and pillows a plus.

The room was well appointed with refrigerator, comfortable bed and was spacious.

Room fine but noisy children in next room when hotel not full so think they could have put them a few doors away. Young lady at desk quite helpful-young man not so much. He didn't know we could walk (on sidewalk) to the aviation museum!

Close to Aviation Museum and easy to get to downtown.

Good clean efficient motel.

This is a very nice hotel with a great staff. It is not in McMinnville, but just 2 miles out. For winetasting, McMinnville is towards the southern end of the Williamette wine region, but this is still a good base for that activity. Going into Portland is almost an hour.

Like that the blankets are in asked with a sheet. And, the breakfast was very generous with sausages, hash browns, sausage gravy, hard boiled eggs, and waffles. Will stay there again

nice hotel

Really enjoyed this place. We take our Shepherds each time we visit. The staff is great!

I enjoyed the hotel but the floor between each floor was not thick enough. The people that stayed above us when they walked you would have thought that they was coming there the floor.

We enjoyed it very much

We expected a little nicer hotel because it is a Red Lion Inn. The staff members were pleasant, if not overly helpful with area information. The location was close to everything we wanted to see. Best thing about the hotel were the most excellent & comfortable beds. We all appreciated that. It was a good stay.

Lobby had a clustered look. Other Red Lions have a classy look. This one did not. This hotel was more expensive than others.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here the night after visiting the Evergreen Museum and water park. The hotel is located right next to the highway with shopping and a movie theatre close by. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building was clean and quiet. I couldn't find one thing to complain about.
