The Resort at The Mountain - Welches

It was very nice and quiet when we went. We loved that it was so peaceful and easy going. Each room comes with robes which were a nice touch. The hotel staff were very nice too!

Great location, lots of hiking and fishing close by. Clean and great rooms and very friendly staff. 18 hole golf course Will book again

Exquisite place to stay, had a great time, played 18 holes of golf had a great dinner at the Altitudes and staff seemed excited to work there.

I chose to stay at the Resort at the Mountain to have a weekend getaway and just relax. I got there early and even tho check-in was still a few hours away, they had my room ready for me so I didn't have to wait. My room was amazing (Fireplace King) and the bed was the COMFIEST hotel bed I've ever slept in. I had Happy Hour drinks at the bar with super friendly service. The next day I had an amazing mud wrap at the Spa. Because I was enjoying the Spa's steam room and relaxation room so much, the Spa called and asked for my late check-out which the Resort was happy to oblige. I had such a great time at The Resort at the Mountain I didn't want to leave! I had a very relaxing, enjoyable time!

We stayed here on a last minute deal through hotels.com so I get the feeling we got a "lower end" room. Though I am not concerned about how fancy my room is they made up for it with the excellent customer service! Marty the bartender is excellent and makes you feel right at home! Room was clean, pool and hot tub were nice, being outside made it a little cold though, and every room looks over the pool, overall good stay, clean rooms, food was kinda not worth the price so look out for that!

Great location and excellent accommodations. 15 minutes from gov camp makes a wonderful spot for family snow adventures..

The Resort at the Mountain was absolutely fantastic!! The price was incredible and the hotel staff was beyond accommodating. It was so nice to be able to bring along our dog for our trip!! The pool and hot tub were incredibly nice and well kept. The kids really enjoyed the putt putt golf as well. Will definitely stay again!!

I had a great stay but am currently at a loss for what I've been charged. Their invoice makes no sense and there are $144 in unexplained expenses. Before booking through a 3rd party, be sure you understand the additional resort fees you may be charged. Mystery expenses aside, it was a great location for a ski weekend, and the putting greens were a fun afternoon activity.

Service was fabulous and rooms were spacious and super clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

Everything was very nice. We would have liked a table with chairs around it for playing games, etc. and a microwave for popcorn and cocoa. . .They provided a credit for meals at the restaurant, and they advertised a Sunday Brunch buffet. We planned on that, but when we got there, they said the hotel wasn't full enough to offer it this week, , , We enjoyed the hot tub and pool, and the room was nice and clean.

Staff was very nice, rooms were very nice and clean. Food was priced well and quality was excellent!

After searching for a hotel near timberline and finding high rates for just one night I searched hotels.com and found a great rate here. I was skeptical of the pictures but as soon as I walked into the lobby I was impressed. The rooms were just as impressive. I highly recommend to everyone.

Great one night stay to go skiing on Mt Hood. I wish I could have stayed longer.

great room, great service. Close to ski resorts on Mt Hood

The Resort facilities are excellent and the service was great. The rooms were above average and the beds plush . Gave me one of the best sleeps on my trip. Breakfast was an 8 out of 10. The grounds provided a good jogging path or walkway. Having an outdoor large heated pool and hot tube with a golf course just around the corner , I recommend The Resort to everyone .

Very nice. And im a critic. Great staff, quality built and well maintained. For being less than a mile off the road, you sure feel like your in the middle of nowhere, with everything you need. Wooded paradise.

The restaurant food was good, kind of expensive as it was basically a steakhouse type menu, but the food and service was worth the price. The resort was located near several grocery stores and other food establishments. They were also conveniently located a 1/4 mile right off the main Mountain Highway to get to the ski resorts. The rooms were very nice with an awesome selection of tv channels, including a few premium channels such as HBO. Free wi-fi made Internet use convenient and simple. The pool and hot tub opened early and closed late. Overall my stay was awesome and would highly recommend staying there.

Good rates, big room, clean, quiet. Only food option is the expensive restaurant with mostly good food, great salmon, terrible eggs Benedict. Portions are to small for a meal after skiing. I would stay there again for sure

Great check in, very helpful for giving us both hiking and ski location tips. Enjoyed the pool, fitness and golf course trails too. Wonderful menu selections for breakfast.

After a long day of boarding, you'll be delighted to stay here. They have individual heated balconies in the rooms (including the first floors) to where you can get 1 bar of service for you phone. It's just enough to make a call/text message, which anywhere in the hotel in the area that is virtually impossible to do. They have a complimentary fast internet connection, hot showers (no tub), and probably the most comfortable bed you'll ever sleep in. The two things I wish they could offer would be a bath tub and a microwave.

Went on a whim to stay at the resort... and had a great time. Great wine selection at Altitude.

My boyfriend and i stayed here to have a fun birthday to be close to ski bowl. We skied @ ski bowl but the resort was not so extraordinary. It would have been better to stay in government camp b/c its right across from ski bull. It was a nice room. Would be much better in the summer when amenities are avail. Did not get a chance to check out the tub. Overall the room was nice but expensive

I guess its because I've been to "real" resorts in the past, where they have activities going on for kids and adults, an indoor pool/spa, nature trails.... this place is more like an overpriced motel with a restaurant that has the poorest service I've ever experienced. The room was relatively clean, but no larger or more comfortable than most motels I've stayed in. The hot tub was dirty, and the outdoor pool had a giant tent over it that barely covered the whole pool, which means when you walked into this big bubble, you almost walked right into the pool itself, which is not a good thing if you have toddlers like I do. We had dinner and then breakfast at the Altitude, their attached restaurant. The service was slower than a snail climbing up a staircase. Dinner took an hour to be served, and breakfast took nearly 30 minutes. The one saving grace is that they had delicious mac & cheese. Alas, that is not enough for us to return. We'll go elsewhere next time.

Loved the view from our room and the bed was super comfy. The decor was a little dated and could be upgraded, but overall it was a nice, relaxing stay on the mountain.

Would have liked WiFi in the lodge we stayed in, but other than that it was great.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We we be returning guests!

We really enjoyed our stay, hotel has nice amenities, beautiful views, and helpful staff. Lots to do within close distance. Altitude restaurant was superb! We will be staying again.

Great stay in the mountains. Only a 30-45minute drive to TImberline. Close proximity to good day hiking at Ramona Falls and Mirror Lake. Will stay there again.

This hotel/resort is conveniently located close to Mt. Hood and the Oregon Trail history. It was a very nice facililty for a very reasonable price through hotels.com. The room was luxurious as you would expect at a resort and there were other resort amenities that could be purchased. Due to our short stay, we did not indulge in any other services.

Overall a very nice experience.We recieved a complimentary upgrade so we don't know how our booked room was.The upgraded room was very nice.Dining was excellent.
