Plaza Hotel Lucchesi - פירנצה

This was one of the most lovely hotels we stayed at during our Italy vacation. Quality of service, rooms, food - all exceptional. This hotel is located along the river with beautiful views of the rolling hills just outside of Florence. A bit further from centre of all the action but we found the walk reasonable. It was actually nice to be away from all the touristy frenzy. We were particularly impressed by the quality of service from the desk staff. Probably the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our trip but it was well worth it.

We had a nice, but fairly normal stay at this hotel for three nights. rooms where ok, clean but a little noisy to the river front side. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel is perfectly located for all endeavors. Parking is provided but pricy.

The superior room was spacious and had a spectacular view of Santa Croce. Staff were friendly and very competent. Excellent breakfast - great variety and quality. Good location - easy to walk to almost all the sites in Florence from this hotel.

The location of the hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the city centre alongside the river Arno and therefore in a fairly quiet area. We booked a room with a balcony. The room was lovely and a good size but unfortunately the quality of the bathroom wasn't so good. The fittings were not of a high quality and showing signs of aging. The paint on the door and doorframe inside the bathroom was chipped in many places and the water pressure for the shower was weak. Breakfast was also a little bit disappointing. It consisted mainly of Italian style items such as sweet cakes along with some fruits, cereal, scrambled eggs & bacon. There was no bread selection & the coffee which was in a pot standing on the table for use by everyone was not good. It seemed that coffee, cappuccino etc could be ordered separately but no-one tells you this, it's only when you see other people having their cups brought to them that you find out. Overall, this is a nice hotel with very pleasant staff. However, if you book a room with a balcony then you are in for a treat because the view from our large balcony was fantastic - the Basilica of Santa Croce being in direct view, the Duomo to the left and the Tuscan hills in the distance to the right. Perfect for enjoying a nightcap at the end of a tiring day.

This wasn't the most amazing hotel, but our location and view of the river made it really fantastic. The bathroom was a little older, but everything was very clean and comfortable. The location was great. Really easy to explore both sides of the river and our view from our balcony was fantastic! Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The breakfast was such a let down. Everything else was very satisfactory.

Fantastic...we stopped in Florence on our way to Rome for a night with no hotel reservation. My wife had to use a bathroom, the first hotel refused to let her use the bathroom, the second one did not say anything, we were very impressed with the lobby and the air conditioning, we assumed it was going to be way to expensive... so we asked if they had any rooms and they did. WHAT A FIND!

Wireless was close to useless, extremely slow and not reliable. If you need it, dont stay here. If you dont care, hotel was otherwise fine (if you dont mind faded rugs and old lobby furniture). Staff was quite pleasant. We liked proximity to other side of river

Beautful room and amenities. Great location. Nicely renovated. Chic and modern. Good breakfast. Fairly good sized room.

grand old hotel; good breakfast; good concierge services; responsive to concerns; great views but make sure you don't get Room 419,,,,noisy ventilation system outside that is loud.

Florence is not that big but even so you need to be close to the centre. the luchesi is in santa croce which is good facing the river and not far from the Ponte vecchio, uffizi gallery etc. service is great, breakfast quite good, room sizes excellent, decor good, reception reasonable, excellent public spaces. no brown or wholegrain bread in hotel (or in Florence in general) we called a taxi and it came in 5 minutes - they can be diifcult to find in florence esp the Station. would recommend buying the Firenze Card, not cheap but beats the queues, watch out for Monday most museums are closed. great bar Volume in Piazza Santo Spirito and of course Cibreo, try the new theatro cibreo for something different mark, london

I would personally recommend this hotel for its location and service. The front desk was helpful with any questions. The bartenders in the bar were friendly. It was clean and the location was super convenient for us. My husband only had issue with the shower which he said had low water pressure and the bathtub which was scooped on the bottom so it was uncomfortable to stand in. I took a bath so I didn't experience this issue. The other issue we had was waking with random bug bites on our bodies. I'm not familiar with bedbugs so I don't know if that was the cause. It was a little disturbing but we were only there for three nights so we didn't investigate it any further. The breakfast in the morning was adequate enough to start your day and hold you over until lunch. We did not have dinner there but it seemed a viable option if the need did arise. If I ever had to go back to Florence, I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Stayed July 2011. We had fantastic room at front of hotel ovelooking river -with aircon, which was very important as temperatures were in mid 30s. Reception staff very helpful in terms of sightseeing info / train timetables etc. Location good - maybe 10mins walk from main sights/ restaurants?Breakfast included - not inspirational but perfectly adequate and served till 10.30 which is always a plus for me!

Booked 3 days before check in date due to a sudden change in plans and both my husband and I were very pleasantly surgprised. I have been to Florence on numerous occassions over the years and while this hotel is just a "bit" out of the hustle and bustle (and more importantly shopping!), this could also be one of its better assets. Could walk to the Ponte Vecchio in 10 minutes by turning right out the front door and following the river. Beautiful room with balcony (419) with the BEST view of the city I have ever had (and I've been to much more expensive hotels than this one). The Santa Croce neighborhood has some of the best trattorias and wine bars and its just steps from the hotel. The breakfast was OK but lousy cappuccino (no excuse here!). You can see that this was a very elegant hotel in its day and the decor has not changed in style much, but overall a clean, spacious hotel that I would return to again. Great value.

I have done quite a bit of traveling throughout Europe and this is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. It is a 5 star, truly five star. The people were great and the location right on the arno river was spectacular. It was very reasonably priced. The room was excellent, roomy for Europe and a great bathroom. IF you are in Florence this is where you should stay.

We loved our stay here. The room was beautiful with a soaring ceiling which made the already good sized room feel even more spacious. The hotel staff was spot on; always charming and helpful. It was the kind of place that you immediately felt at home in; very comfortable. A lot of older American and European tourists which meant that it was very quiet in the evenings, yay! The best part? The fabulous breakfast that was included. I didn't realize that was included, and boy, what a wonderful surprise! Yummy meats, pastries, fruit, and even champagne! Very nice treat! The only slight downside was that it was a bit of a walk from a lot of the main tourist areas and train station but a good opportunity to walk off the aforementioned breakfast and all the pasta we ate! Loved it!

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. For the price an excellant choice. The buffet breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage along with all of the standard Italian breakfast items.

Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed longer. This hotel was amazing, with a balcony and view overlooking the river. It was more like a 5 star than a 4 star. Staff was great and very helpful. The hotel is about a 15 euro taxi ride from the train station. Central location, within walking distance to downtown markets. Definately recommend staying here. I will be staying here the next time I come back.

Vi fikk også inkludert frokost, noe som ikke er vanlig slik jeg har forstått det. Hotellet anbefales.

Vackert och trevligt hotell ca 15 minuters promenad till city kärnan, fin lobby och bra frukost, vissa rum med utsikt mot staden, Duomo och kyrkan Santa croce.

tutto bene, la colazione dovrebbe essere un peu piu' varie con del pane integrale o con cereale, manca bollitore per il the in camera. a parte questo tutto bene, la vista e magnifica sull'arno. da consigliare.

Hyggelig betjening i resepsjonen. Rommene store og lyse, men badet fremstår slitt og burde fått en make-over. Upåklagelig renhold, savnet bare en vannkoker og muligheter til å lage kaffe/te på rommet. Frokosten OK, selv om utvalget av søte produkter er for stort i forhold til et sunnere utvalg produkter. Det beste ved hotellet er beliggenheten, samt at de tilbyr visst antall parkeringsplasser i hotellets kjellergarasje. Totalt sett god valuta for pengene.

L'hotel si trova in ottima posizione , facilmente raggiungibile anche da chi viene in auto. Il personale tutto (concierge, camerieri, addetti al garage ecc..) è veramente molto gentile e disponibile.

最上階のバルコニー付きの部屋に泊まったが部屋が狭すぎ満足に荷物を広げられない程だった。ただし、その分バルコニーは広く眺めは素晴らしかった。バルコニーで食事をしたりゆっくりくつろぎたい人にはお薦めかも

The hotel condition is not corresponding to a four star hotel. But it's not bad for the money it costs.

Hotel bien situé, chambre bruyante travaux, chambres trés sombre voire triste avec vue dans une cour intérieure de 2mx2m

Ho rascorso un piacevole fine settimana inFirenze . L'hotel nel suo complesso è buono, unica critica da farsi riguarda il bagno della stanza n.104 assolutamente non adeguato ad un hotel 4 stelle.

Hotellet i sig är fantastiskt, vackert inuti och perfekt läge. Personalen ler aldrig och är relativt otrevliga dock. Det gör att jag inte återvänder varken i arbete eller privat.
