Hilton San Antonio Hill Country Hotel & Spa - סן אנטוניו

I was highly impressed with the Hilton HIll Country Hotel and Spa. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and updated. The hotel is also conveniently located only a couple miles away from the grocery store, restaurants, and many other area attractions. I really enjoyed the bar, patio, and pool areas. The only minor complaint I have is that the water was out of service for a few hours and the A/C in the fitness room was out of order. I would stay here again. It was very comfortable and felt safe since I was traveling alone.

The hotel does advertise that they have a van that will shuttle people to and from Sea World, and they publish times throughout the day that the van leaves. What I discovered is that you can stand outside for hours waiting for the van to leave to no avail. If you want service to and from Sea World, you have to ask for it at the front desk and then typically wait 30 minutes for the hotel front desk people to find a driver. If you can not offer a dependable shuttle service then I recommend not advertising that you have one. I ended up taking my own car and parking it at Sea World fior two days in a row. Additionally, there was a foul smell in the hallways outside my room. I have to admit that the room itself was nice. My wife and I both greatly appreciated the very friendly front desk staff. I loved the heated pools. Even the maintenance staff was quite friendly and courteous. My child did enjoy roasting marshmallows. This hotel does very well with customer service issues with the exception of the transportation to and from Sea World.

We loved the hotel! It was beautiful! The food at the restaurants, Breakfast buffet was delicious and the lunch/dinner food was spectacular! They were VERY accommodating.

We stayed here in May for a quick long weekend trip to Seaworld with the family. Upon arrival, the grounds seemed wonderful. Very nice and attractive. Our room was spacious. We did experience a few issues during our stay. The toilet in our room would not flush, it took multiple times flushing just to get toilet paper down. OUr air conditioner would not cool off. We did have someone so say fix it but it continued to "just run, and never cool off".... As well, the halls leading up to our room were filthy. i did see housekeepers... How hard would it be to vaccum the halls?!? I did as asked and emailed my concerns to the manager of the hotel but have never heard back! i would rate this hotel a 3 out of 5. It was just ok. My expectations were much higher from first sighting.

One of the a/c units was not working so certain areas of the hotel were a bit warm, tolerable, but warm none the less.

A last minute trip had me booking a hotel on the road from a mobile app. Looking to be close to SeaWorld, and for a good rate, I narrowed it down to The Hilton Hill Country. So glad I did. Very nice hotel, but all the extras this hotel offered made it a must return to while visiting SeaWorld in San Antonio! Every night they show a kids movie on a big screen outdoors, where you can gather around a cozy fire pit and roast marshmallows. (A marshmallow kit was $5 :( ) the pool area was open until 11, which was great because we are late nighters! They had 3pools that I saw (1 being a kiddie splash zone, only a ft deep, great for little ones, as well as 2hot tubs. They also had a basketball court and a small playground area. They had a full restaurant, gym and spa, which meant you did not even have to leave the hotel all evening! Shuttles to and from SW were worth if because SW parking is $15 a day! We loved the experience we had here and we definitely will be back! This area was not in close walking distance to the riverwalk, so if your looking for a hotel that meets that discription this may not be the hotel for you. We have also been to hotels near the riverwalk, however, they did not have this atmosphere to offer. If SW is in your plans, stay here and drive to the riverwalk!

Hotel was very close to Sea World with free shuttle.

I just loved this hotel. My kids loved making s'mores, watching movies outside and the pools. Me personally liked the service,and cleaness of the rooms. I got to seat down in the bar with my husband and have some drinks while my kids where playing in a table right there.The shuttles to Sea World, you don't even need to use your car. We went to take the kids to Sea World and Aquatica, for our luck Aquatica was closed but we enjoyed Sea World and the hotel. My kids loved it, so whenever we decide to go back to Aquatica this is the hotel. If you want to visit the Riverwalk then I will tell you to get a closer hotel. Is about 20 minutes drive, and the traffic in San Antonio is just ridiculous.

The hotel was clean and staff was nice. The hotel caters to families with children. Very noisy hallways, busy lobby and paper thin walls. If you are not into the kid scence - this hotel is not for you.

Hair in the bathtub that wasn't ours......ewww. Front desk and management staff that was rude. Only redeeming quality is that they have a mature lady that handles their daytime room service that should be working at the Waldorf Astoria instead of this place. Hilton should move her to that property or put her over training at this place. Her attention to detail is incredible. As a business owner of a service company, one notices the details.

Great room, great location, great staff

Great stay but always read the fie print on the room charges. They added an additional 17% service fee for the poolside service

Quiet room, v clean and well maintained, staff excellent and helpful. Shuttle prompt and available. Food service excellent, food quality good- opportunity to be excellent with facility and location however

great place for kids. if you don't like hearing children screaming or running down hallways don't stay here.

Fom the welcome letter to sitting outside sipping wine watching the sunset. This place is pretty, clean, and a pleasure to stay.

Family haf a great time hotel amenities were wonderful the Hill Country Hilton is going to be where the Family and I will stay in the future

The hotel is beautiful and a great value. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with our 3 children and it was perfect. The only thing that seemed to be a problem across the board was the Food and Beverage service through out the hotel. The morning buffet was what you would expect accept for the fact that the warming plates didn't keep the food warm, for our entire breakfast 30 minutes- pancakes were never available and other foods had to be requested for replenishment. Dinner that night was good but french onion soup had to be sent back because the bread on top was so stale you could not cut it with a knife and the children's Alfredo returned because it was covered in black pepper making it too spicy for children. Room service for breakfast - 2 place settings sent for a family of 5, one single serving of syrup sent when we ordered 3 orders of pancakes and the additional sides left off order. Hilton was very quick to apologize for the problems but it just was a bummer to keep having a problem at every meal. However I would roll the dice and go back again hoping for improvements and perhaps I would venture off campus for food.

The family and I enjoyed our stay at the Hill Country Hilton very much and will plan our future stays at the the Hilton.

The room we stayed in was very nice and clean. Elegant but also functional with my two little ones. Romantic and famil friendly. The family dinner meal at the restaurant wasamazing. Great for micky eaters. The movies jn the evenings and smores packpacks we could purchase is genius. Overall great staycation

This Hilton was out by Seaworld, but we were not in San Antonio for Seaworld. We were there for Fiesta. The hotel was out of the way - not downtown, but that was the nice thing. No traffic and not a lot of noise surrounding the place. The grounds were nice, especially enjoyed the free snacks out by the pools. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was smaller than I had thought it would be, but had a nice view. I used the gym and it was adequate and also had a nice view.

The sheets were dingy and stained.As for room service and food it hit the spot as well as the other amenities available.

This was a great hotel and location. They however, did forget to tell us they changed the outdoor movie show every night to an indoor room and my kids were a little bummed but other than that it was fantastic.

This hotel is awesome,if your destination is seaworld this is the place to be.Come in early and park there it will save you parking then take the shuttle Primo the driver is funny. The hotel is awesome,all the way thru. I booked thru hotel.com and got a very good deal.

I had two rooms and they did not I form me that my DEBIT card was going to be charged 50 per day for incidentals - I was on vacation spending money until I found out my debit card was charged 400 dollars!!!! I did not plan for this expense to come out so it created a hardship for me-

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were a few issues, some not controlled by the hotel (group of high school band kids) running down halls and filling up the pool. The one thing we were looking to most was hanging out by the fire pits and pool, but weren't able to due to all the children. The room was nice, but the furniture was becoming extremely dated. It had tons of Knicks in the furniture and looked a bit overused. Our room was not vaccumed but sheets/linens were nice and clean. The door to our room had a broken lock, you actually had to lift the handle up to open the door. When you pressed down like a standard door handle, it would lock the dead bolt. Didn't make a whole lot of sense. Would stay again just would like the hotel to do some updating.

Hotel was very nice, but looks are only skin deep. Rude service the whole time and when I called cuz my meeting was running a little late they said they would gladly give me a late checkout for a small fee of $25 an hour. This hotel disappointed me greatly. Use Hilton country spa and resort only as your last resort.

Great property and location. Fire pits are great in the cold weather. Kids seemed to take over the hot tub so never got in.

After staying at the Hyatt Hill Country for a company event, I moved to the Hilton for a weekend getaway with my wife. The hotel was great for the price. We enjoyed the hot tub, firepits and grill in the evening.

It was great a stay with a clean nice room. The staff was very friendly and nice. It was not hard at all to get around town from the hotel.

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay here! Located next Seaworld was very convenient as well as local shopping and dining. I would rate our stay as our best hotel experience ever, every member of the staff friendly, we made s'mores every night at the campfires they have outside as well as enjoyed the movies playing outside in the evening. We are definetly going back!

Close to Sea World, the shuttle and pools are really the only thing great about this hotel. Plan to pay extra for everything many hotels offer like breakfast, WiFi, and a fridge. The room door had a 1/2 inch open space at the bottom which provided light going through during the night. While you were in the room, we could hear the doors slamming and conversations from the hall. The patio door did not have a screen so we could not enjoy the spring night air. We chose not to utilize maid service so don't know how that is. Noticed a discarded room service tray with leftover food and drink there for most of a day. Nothing special, just be willing to pay extra above the standard which is very mediocre.

Everything was perfect from the customer service to the cleanliness of the entire property. I must say i never thought anything could be as good as it was. Everyone was super nice and i have not one complaint.
