Hotel was in a great location, right in the center of things! However, I did not like the fact that the entrances to the rooms was through the parking garage which means I heard everyone getting in and out of their cars all night. It was the beginning of "Bike Week" and need I say more? The curtains in my room looked as if they had not been dusted for quite some time. The refrigerator in my mother's room had a large amount of rust on the side.

Dont expect to sleep in! We could hear the neighbors toilet everytime they flushed. Also room service did an excellent job keeping the rooms clean. They just come by toooo early!

Parking was good. Lobby was disappointing.

Good location. Staff very nice. Clean room. Parking deck right out side door. Easy get luggage in. And it was raining and was nice not getting wet

Overall the stay was an A-. I was hoping for a little more comfort in the beds but that wasn't the case. The Hotel is so nice you would think they have better mattresses in the rooms. The rest of the stay was awesome. Will stay again but will bring a mattress topper with us for comfort.

I run a cleaning company so my standards may be slightly high, but regardless of that we shouldn't have found someone else's underwear behind the tv stand while we were checking to make sure we have everything before leaving.

It was o.k. for a weekend, but I would not stay there a week. The hotel does not have a restaurant or any additional amenities outside of the pools. If you have children pick another hotel.

This hotel was grea, from the many pools to the lazy river. All rooms have front view of ocean could not ask for anymore~

Room was very nice, full kitchen, ocean front, great location, within walking distance to boardwalk. The one negative would be the maid service, cleaned really well but were rather pushy to get into the room to clean so they could go home.

Hotel was nice but had hard time getting towels at the pool and in our room. Would stay again. Parking garage spaces are tight but was nice being able to park by our room door.

I had one bedroom condo and it was disaster. First room was so dirty that I had to request another room. Even second room was disaster ( old filty furniture and bathroom ) Third room was somehow acceptable but housekeeping was terrible. They show up first time after third day of my stay and did not do almost anything. It was really bar experience and I will not stay ever again there. Price is extremely high for condition of the rooms.

loved this hotel. would definetly stay here again. loved that the garage is attached and I didn't have to cross the street. really close to restaurants and shops to walk tooo.

The room was just OK and the beds were awful!

Had a great time --- great location..... good old hotel -- served us well for a nice 5 night get away.

Nothing really stood out, just average. Pool was being repaired, maybe that and the fact they had not ready for the start of the season. Oh and why is there a one way mirror allowing the maintance crew to sit in their office and watch the guest work out in the gym?

Wonderful place to stay!!! Clean, parking is accessible, and it is very customer friendly with the staff- seriously this place is a gem:)

Only problem we had was that the iron didnt work. We were given another promptly. Great stay!

Everrything was satisfactory except for the wifi. It was slow and sporadic!

This is my second stay and I have enjoyed both stays and I recomend this hotel to everyone.

It was good. Furniture in living room was awful. We couldn't sit on it..it was so old and uncomfortable.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, service (check in and out) was easy and personnel was great.

Great friendly front desk staff. However, upon opening the door to our room I found the beds to be very uncomfortable in fact my bed had an indention in the mattress so the first night kept rolling into that hole. Second night slept on the sofa which was also uncomfortable. For the price of what we paid per night I guess it was parallet to the quality of the room. Also, was not convenient to the places we had planned to go to Tanger, Carolina Opry and the Alabama Theatre.

After reading some reviews about rooms not being clean, etc etc, I was a bit unsure of what lies ahead of me. But after arrival, I didn't really see much reason for worry, as the room was clean, and the best of all, had a nice oceanfront view with a good sized balcony. Also, the location of the kitchen & bathroom was a bit odd, as they were right opposite each other. The living room was quite spacious, with a nice LCD TV. There were a couple of things that bothered me, (1) it was nowhere mentioned that 1-bedroom suites don't have a dishwasher included, which I only came to know after I checked-in. Infact, the website mentions that all rooms & suites include "Spacious Kitchen with Full Kitchenware Amenities: Coffee Maker, Microwave, Refrigerator, Range/Oven and Dishwasher". So, that made it a bit bitter. (2) The free Wi-fi connection kept dropping every now & then, and it would connect only from the living room. This wasn't expected as well. Choose a room from 10th floor & up, as the parking garage is till the 10th floor. So, there could be some noise from the parking garage, if you are on the 9th floor or below

Awesome to have every room oceanview, but the rooms definitely need to be updated. The beds are lumpy, the furniture is older not very comfortable. They were clean which was nice, so i guess you get what you pay for. The pools were great for the kids too... so if your traveling on a budget this is a decent ocean front resort.

Since my last stay was at another lower rated hotel down the road, my expectations were high bases on the high ratings. First off the rooms were a bit wore, time for some fresh paint and beds. Arrived back after a late supper and noticed a significant sound of music, called the front desk and the clerk informed me it was probably a local pub. Well the music and was from the next door & upon a visit from security to our room to pinpoint the noise the noise continued. After 4 more calls to the front desk and being told there was not a guest next door, I picked up the phone andcalled te room in question. Needless to say I woke the guest &I requested the music turned down. Which was done, upon informing the front desk &I security I received a song and dance as to why they couldn't resolve the said issue. Very disappointed with the out come and my lack of much needed sleep.

Camelot by the Sea is a nice hotel that is close to everything. Unlike most of the hotels in the same area, they have on-site parking convenient to the room, not across the street - the garage is a little tight so cautious driving is recommended. While staying here we were able to walk to the Sky Wheel, there was even a Starbucks across the street. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Since we were there off-season the rates were extremely good for the week.

do not think we will be back to myrtle beach area at all your front end staff was not friendly or helpful house keeping was great

I can't think of anything bad to say, it was clean, parking was available, and the ocean view was gorgeous. I'm a natural skeptic, so I figure the hammer will drop next time, but this stay was a good one.

We always enjoy staying at Camelot by the Sea, lots of restaurants within walking distance, Pier 14 and the new boardwalk very close, Starbucks & Ben & Jerry's across the street! A bonus to staying here is the on-site parking, all oceanfront rooms, friendly hotel staff, and ability to choose late checkout when available.

The hotel and room were nice. The seal on the glass patio door was broken, so the glass had a white build up on it due to the saltwater. Not a big deal at all, but it was noticeable. The bathroom needed some updating, but again not anything that would prevent me from staying there again. I really enjoyed the staff at the hotel and being able to watch the sunrise from our private balcony was awesome. Great place!!!

Number one complaint was: someone was smoking on the balcony. This made it impossible to enjoy this feature of the room. However all of the staff was very nice and friendly. I would stay here again.

The rooms were cleaned and all of the amomondations were made available to me. I also thought the idea of the late check out nice as well. i ready to come back!!!
