Room size includes the bathroom, so it turns out to feel smaller than what they announce. Might of also felt better about the stay if the elevator was working and wasn't surprised with the maintenance. Haven't stayed at any other hotel in Paris so I'm bias by rating upon other hotels I've stayed at and not by what is available in Paris. A block away from the metro, bus stop, and taxi stop. So if you want to go across paris quickly, the metro and bus is only a block away.

Loved staying here. Our room was small (which is normal for Paris) but it very clean and in good condition. We had a room on the fifth floor (the only floor with a balcony) with a view of the Eiffel tower which was nice. The only nitpick was that my wife didn't like the shampoo they provide. The staff were helpful and friendly they spoke both French and English. We bought our breakfast everyday at the bakery next door and ate it at one park about 50m from the hotel or another about 200m. The restaurant the hotel staff recommended called La Cap which is just around the corner was really really good. The metro was really close as well as a station for the rental bikes. There's a bank right next to the metro station if you need an ATM. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Val Girard. We could see the Eiffel Tower from the front of the hotel, the staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly and the rooms were really nice and clean with a very large bathroom which is a big plus in my book.

We stayed at the Hotel Val Girard for two nights at the end of March, and were absolutely delighted with the experience. We enjoyed the comfortable, spacious, well appointed rooms; large marble-tiled bathrooms with tub; and an amazing view through a floor-to-ceiling arched casement window of a quaint Paris street, with the Eiffel Tower to the left. The room was quiet and scrupulously clean. It was easy to get around the city with a metro station only two short blocks away. Above all, however, it was the excellent service that made our stay so enjoyable. The clerk at the front desk could not have been more friendly, helpful, and accommodating - allowing us to keep our luggage in a safe room so that we could enjoy our final day in Paris unencumbered by our suitcases. I have often looked at glowing, personal reviews of hotels on websites such as this and wondered if the owners of the hotel posted them. Well, this is simply not the case here. The Hotel Val Girard is excellent quality at wonderfully reasonable rates.

Clean, comfortable hotel with good access to Porte de Versailles. Staff are helpful and friendly. There also shuttles and car arrangement to airports available.

This is a lovely little hotel, close to the metro station 'Vaugirard' and local boulangeries and patisseries. The only problem was that being so far South, it was a long trip to get up to Montmartre, but if you're up early enough it's not a big problem. The staff are helpful and always make you feel welcome even when your French is as bad as mine!

I stayed at Hotel Val Girard with my partner for a 3 night break at the beginning of November. The hotel was very easy to find from the Metro station and even though we arrived 2 hours before check in, they kindly found a room for us straight away. The hotel is very modern (apart from the lift) and clean. The room was absolutely lovely although a little compact. It is perfect for a few days but might be a bit cramped for a longer stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout and we throughly enjoyed our stay. You can see the Eiffel Tower from the road the hotel is on and we were lucky enough to be able to see it from our bedroom window too! If I had one complaint it would be that the lift is absolutely tiny - I mean really tiny! But apart from that no complaints. They also have a 24hr reception desk which was very convenient and an added bonus of free wifi! We would definitely be back!

Mostly happy with this hotel - recently renovated and it shows. Clean, modern rooms with flat screen TV's. Good location, less than 5 mins to Metro with good restaurants and cafes nearby, in addition to supermarkets and 2 local boulangeries for morning croissants. The view of the Eiffel tower from the front door of the hotel is an added bonus - you never forget where you are and how lucky you are to be there. Just one issue - it is a tall thin building, so noise does unfortunately carry between rooms and stairwells and we were woken by footsteps and pipe noises from above on 2 of the 3 mornings we were there. And by 2 cleaners shouting up and down the stairs on another morning - just shouldn't happen. Very disrespectful to guests. So - good hotel, but ask for a room on the top floor if you want to avoid noise from above.

I spent my holidays with my girlfriend in this hotel an we were very happy with it.

Large room by European standards. Quaint neighborhood, mixed business/residential area. Close to shops, fresh bread twice a day, good wine, cheese.Convenient to bus and Metro lines. Helpful multi lingual hotel personnel.

Nice hotel, extremely helpful staff and front desk. Friendly and willing to help and explained how to get around and the various attractions that may be of interest. I was offered Continental Breakfast at 12 Euros per person per day which I declined. (not a great deal for the price). Adds up to about $27 U.S. Room was a bit smaller than US hotel rooms. But a decent deal if you're just basically changing clothes and sleeping there.

Leuk, kleinschalig hotel. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kleine, maar nette kamer.

L'hotel est bien placé dans la ville de Paris. Il n'y a pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain. Le chauffage de la chambre est assuré par une climatisation réversible. La chambre et le service sont de bonne qualité, l'hotel est bien entretenu.

Un accueil vraiment sympathique et de l'assistance au besoin. Un environnement très agréable, résidentiel mais aussi proche de tout à pied. Ça fait du bien de ne pas être noyée au milieu des touristes et de vivre un peu la vie des Parisiens! Un quartier ravissant et rafraichissant de Paris! À voir

Liten fin och trevlig reception så ett bra första intryck. Lite sömnig receptionist vid första ankomsten på kvällen men det vägdes upp mycket bra med resterande tre receptionister som var mycket hjälpsamma och serviceminded. Rummet luktade lite inrökt och toaletten var fräsch men hade en lite underlig lukt. Däremot hade vi tur att få ett rum med liten balkong och det var en fantastiskt vacker utsikt mot ett upplyst Eiffeltorn. Allt som allt är vi helnöjda med vistelsen och läget. Nära till en tunnelbanestation och runt hörnet fanns två bagerier där vi inhandlade våra frukostar. Kan absolut rekommendera detta hotell.

My wife and I spent the weekend in this very nice hotel. We brought our dog and there was no extra charge. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. A subway was only 100m away. We did not eat the breakfast, but there is a bakery right next door, and many little cafes and excellent restaurants in the area, which are not to expensive. The bathrooms were very clean and big. We definitely will be back next time in Paris.

Alle ansatte på hotellet var svært hjelpsomme, fra direktør til stuepikene. Uansett tid på døgnet var de behjelpelig med alt fra ekstra puter til restaurant anbefalinger/reservasjoner. Personalet var dedikert til å gi oss et godt opphold. Rommene var rene og hotellet holder en høy standard etter oppussing i senere tid. Beliggenheten var også god, 2 minuttet gange til metro som tar deg hvor som helst, ellers 15 min gange til Eifel tårnet. Vi gir vår anbefalning etter 5 dagers flott opphold.

知人が古くからこのホテルを利用していて、勧められたので宿泊しました。料金の割には部屋が広くてとてもきれいで、大変気持ちよく過ごせました。スタッフもどの方も友好的で親切でした。中心街からは離れてますが、メトロの駅がすぐ近くなので、あまり不自由ではありません。スーパーも近所にあるし、エッフェル塔もきれいに見えます。ただし日曜などの夜遅くは、近くのカフェぐらいしか開いていません。エレベーターがちょうど故障中で使えなかったのが残念だったぐらいで、あとは大変満足できる滞在でした。

Hôtel bien situé, dans un quartier calme et proche des arrêts de bus (menant entre autres au Louvre) et du métro. Accueil agréable, chambre confortable. Mais l'insonorisation n'est pas parfaite et les double-rideaux laissent passer les lumières de la ville et celle de l'enseigne de l'hôtel ( pas de noir complet pour dormir). Un avis donc assez positif.

Hotel com boa localizacao, perto de uma estação do metro. Os funcionários sao solícitos. Quarto relativamente pequeno mas funcional. Pontos fracos: nao deixaram de maneira alguma entrar no quarto antes do horário do check-in msm o quarto estando liberado. Ar condicionado nao funcionava direito. So avisaram no ultimo dia sobre o servico para levar ate o aeroporto ( que é mais barato que taxi) mas já estava lotado, entao tive que pegar o servico mais caro.

Ett bra 3-stjärning hotell med bra läge. Montparnasse är en mycket trevlig stadsdel. Vi bokade vårt rum i god tid och fick då ett mycket bra pris. Fräscht rum och trevlig bemötande i receptionen (som är bemannad 24 tim). Skulle helt klart rekommendera hotellet till andra.

I spent my holidays with my girlfriend in this hotel an we were very happy with it.

sehr gute Lage, in 2min bei der Metro Station, in 20min beim Eiffelturm zu Fuss. Service an der Reception den Tag durch sehr freundlich, die Nachtschicht liess etwas zu Wünschen übrig. Im Allgemeinen sehr empfehlenswert!! Restaurants, Supermarkt und Brasserien in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Vi ble møtt av hyggelige ansatte i resepsjonen. Rommet var stort og fint, trekker ned noe på grunn av veldig harde senger. Det var også ganske lytt der, i tillegg til at de holder på å pusse opp, så var litt støy fra det. Men når det er sagt var det et trivelig hotell med veldig god beliggenhet i forhold til både metro og eiffeltårnet.

Med utsikt rett mot Eiffeltårnet og mengder av smågater, brasserier, fromagerier i umiddelbar nærhet var dette hotellet rett og slett et kupp!! Billig, god service og perfekt location! Anbefales!!

TB acceuil, Cbr Propre mais nettement moins flateuse que les photos. TB insonoriser, coté rue. litterie très correct. Proche metro 12. Parfait pour travailler car connexion internet fiable et TB debit. Comme dans beaucoup d'hotel, la SDB n'a pas de vrai étagère pour poser ses affaires.

Accueil très bon

Hotellet havde alle mulige gode muligheder som fx. gratis internet som var rigtig lækkert af kunne bruge. Derud over har jeg bare nydt den gode servis og det fine værelse. Beliggenheden var rigtig god det for man ikke bedre til pengene. Hotellet for 4 ud af 5 stjerne for min bedømmelse var fuld tilfreds. Jeg anbefaler at ikke lejer bil da der er alt for meget trafik og det er meget nemmere at tage metroen som køre rundt i hele byen det både billigere og hurtigere.
