PepperTree Inn - ביברטון

the front office was very unprofessional, i had to wait nearly an hour just to get checked in and there wasnt even a line. The hotel is very old inside and outside and all the furniture and appliances are also old. I dont think i would ever stay there again.

I was happy with my stay & would stay again good value foe the money. Just FYI-the gutter in the court yard second floor needs to be fixe. During a heavy rain no could walk under the it on the walkway you had to go around.

We were there for four (4) days. The bed was horrible. There were sink holes in the bed and the pillows were lumpy and hard. We went to Target and bought our own pillows. The headboard on the bed was broken. The floors in a lot of places were rotten and had very soft places including the bathroom. The carpet was not very clean in our room and you could see the dirt. The staff at the front desk on all shifts were very pleasant and accomodating with customers needs. Peppertree is located in a very good place with many places and off ramps close to them.

Looking for something last minute, this turned out to be a convenient location at a fair price. The room was clean, however one can notice the managerial economic thriftiness: My towels were thread bare and instead of providing shampoo and conditioner, there was a small tube of conditioning shampoo--which doesn't quite cut it for us gals. Breakfast consisted of oatmeal, toast and waffles, orange juice and coffee--no fruit, but enough to get you going. I will say that the managerial staff were very nice and accomodating, letting us print off a map to a local hospital and when I left an item behind in the room they were kind enough to pack it up so that I could arrange for shipping. Overall, this met my needs for convenience and did the job without breaking the bank.

If I were wanting to pull a prank on someone, I would tell them to book a room here. The management is highly confused, the plumbing is problematic, and the place is in bad shape.

The staff was helpful and considerate. The room itself looked clean, but the bathroom had a wet floor and smelled so badly like mold that we got up early in the morning and left so we wouldn't have to smell it anymore. *Shudder*

This is not a newer facility, but they do a great job keeping it clean. The price is right, it is located next to the freeway, and the service is excellent. I will definitely stay there again!

The gentlemen at the desk was very kind, gave me a late checkout when I asked. The motel however, needs a lot of work and apparently they know that. I woke up on Sunday to someone scrapping what sounded like Tile on the wall in the unit behind me. It was loud and very frustrating! the tolet did not flush all the way, I did not want to touch the bedspread and the bed was old and saggy. I had to take a sleeping pill just so I could sleep otherwise I would have been thinking about all night. I will say somewhere else next time.

The location was very handy for us...close to family and medical center which was the purpose of our trip. We appreciated having a room buffered from traffic and also an area to walk our pet. We have stayed at Peppertree before and will do so again as need arises. No complaints here.

This hotel is one of the worst I have experienced. I stay in hotels more than 100 nights per year and this hotel ranks as the lowest. Towels were rock hard, dripping tub faucet, room was outdated and pillows were a mush of cotton batting. Room musty and was from a bad 70's movie. Pool and spa was filled with muddy water. Nice front desk lady was all this place had to offer other than the wifi. Great for trucker traveler that needs quick place to rest head.

Supposedly we were to get a non smoking room.We were given a key to a room which had the doors and windows open to eradicate the tobacco smell. When complaining we were told it was a non smoker (strange as it had two ashtrays on the A/C unit attached to the window). Pool & spa, directly outside,were covered with brown algae with weeds all around and outdoor furniture tied up and stacked. Obviously the motel only cleans it up in the season (if at all). Generally poorly managed as the same litter lay around for the two days we were there.

front office was great had trouble with my computer, young man at desk came down to my room and corrected problem. will stay here next time we are in town.

The room was very clean and smelled nice. Maid service was really good. It looked rundown on the exterior. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything going on around you. Those of you who are sports fans - cable apparently does not include ESPN. If the opportunity arose again - I would not repeat a stay here.

This motel is very convenient, but it needs some upgrades. The towels are small and scratchy. There is a strong scent of potpourri in the room, which I don't like. But it was quiet and reasonable regarding cost, and I like the location as it's close to I-5 and Highway 26.

Clean, but missing light bulbs and wheels coming off of chairs. Good shower, comfy bed.

I thought it was a good fit for the rating. Great price for one night when we only wanted a place to lay our heads after a busy day!! Clean and tidy. Did miss our sports channels though. Breakfast was fine and the help was very cordial.

I always stay here when I travel to the area. Worth the bucks...

The office person was kind and respectful, but, he needed more support. The maintenance person was not available, so I waited all day for a solution to the problem of the shower knob not turning far enough to get hot water (it was tepid). The sink water was hot, though. Also, the refrigerator was set too cold, since my 1/2 gallon container of orange juice on the inside of the door froze solid overnight. The room was the cleanest hotel room in this price range I have seen. It was too far to walk to a quickie store/cafe.

My macbook got took away by the housekeeping and they just claim they never saw it. Don't ever go to this motel

Better than expected given some of the reviews. Clean and convenient. No PBS on the tv lineup was a disappintment, however.

all the furniture needs to be replaced. The bed sagged in the middle so much that my back was sore from trying not to roll over my wife all night.

the pool and hot tub were shut down for the season. i had to take a single queen bed room for the ground floor. i had booked a single king room but it is difficult for me to use the stairs

The location is easy to find and within minutes to the zoo, shopping and other attractions. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very minimal and there was no high chair for my 1yr old. They don't allow you to take food from the dining area to your room, so eating was nearly impossible for me. The pool and hot tub are outdoors and it wasn't warm enough for swimming and hot tub didn't open till 10am. I was on the first floor and could hear noise upstairs most of my 3 nights. Talking, footsteps, and suitcases rolling. The price was good, but I won't stay here again.

They did not have my info and had to get a room else where!!!

The manager Tara was very accommodating understanding our situation. Traveling on M/C's and this hotel was between two exits (1 mile each way minimum) that had everything. The exit for Peppertree had industrial parks. Not even a grocery store nearby. Luckily there was taxi service available, but after a long day in the saddle, paying extra for transportation to a place to eat was not what we were looking for. The hotel itself is old and could use some sprucing up.

For us is was perfect since our primary reason for the visit was to get our cars annual maintenance accompllished. Its an older hotel and looked to need a little facility maintenance but nothing obviously serious. The staff were fun to talk to and over the top accomodating. Its a "good" walking distance to the light rail system but we like to walk anyway.

The Pepper Tree Inn offered reasonable rates in a safe location that was conveniently located. I will probably stay there again.

Paid for queen hotel, but only full was available. The internet did not work on that end of the hotel. The exercise room was under construction. This detail was not availalable during the booking. Sad to say the room smelled very bad, but was clean. There was a dead mouse in the parking lot!

Only stayed one night but felt welcomed and the room was clean. The staff was most helpful in locating stores nearby. Thanks!

They need to have better housekeeping and maintenance. Our room had cobwebs in main area, and mold growing in the bathroom. The toilet backed up, and flooded our room while we were getting ready for a wedding. The staff took a long time to respond to this maintenance emergency. They did switch us rooms, however the second room was even worse than the first. There is apparently a long term resident in the room next to ours, and they were fighting with someone all night. Then in the morning, I woke up to go downstairs to the lobby, and there was a dead mouse on the doorstep. NOT an ideal thing to wake up to. The overnight guy laughed in my face, then the manager came to work, and was very apologetic, and gave us a credit. She was very nice, the rest of the staff needs to change. I will NOT be staying here again, or recommending this place to anyone at all ever. Horrible experience.

The place was OK. Pool was a great way to visit for a couple of hours - rooms were decent for visiting. Fridge was appreciated!!!! Breakfast does NOT have any baked treats!!!!!!!!! Juice was watered but the waffles were tasty. Price was ok and since the location is close to restaurants & shopping. . . . . . . . . .
