Eurostars Grand Marina - ברצלונה

המלון הזה היה מושלם לחופשה עירונית קצרה הודות לכך שהוא ממוקם ממש ליד הכביש הראשי. לקחנו חדר סטנדרטי ונשקף ממנו נוף נהדר. אם אתם מתכוונים לאכול ארוחת בוקר במלון אני ממליץ להזמין לפני שתלכו כי היא די יקרה אם משלמים על היום. הצוות הידידותי עזר מאד וכל בקשותינו נענו בחיוב ולשביעות רצוננו.

רק הגענו הביתה לאחר שהות נהדרת במלון הזה, מנהלי המשמרת וצוות הקבלה מאוד ידידותיים ואדיבים, בחרנו את חבילת החגיגה לא היינו מאוכזבים. אלו כל התוספות הקטנות שהופכות את השהייה לטובה, בקבוק הקאווה והתותים הטריים היו תוספת הפתעה קטנה עבור אשתי. בהתחשב בעובדה שזהו מלון 5 כוכבים הסמוך למרכז המסחרי, הגיע הזמן שראש עיריית ברצלונה יפטר ממפלצת המתכת הגדולה של מגדל החשמלית הנמצאת ממש מול המלון הזה, זה ממש מראה מכוער ומקלקל את כל העבודה הטובה שנעשתה בחזית, מאיזור אוניית הנוסעים ולאורך ה Rambla de Mer שזו תוספת מעולה.

צוות המלון היה מאוד מכניס אורחים ובעל אנגלית מצוינת. שירות החדרים היה טעים להפליא - ויקר יחסית לתעריפים במלון. אם מוציאים את הראש מהחלון ניתן לראות ברווחים בין הבניינים את המים, בחדרים הלא פינתיים והיקרים יותר. אם ברצונכם לראות את הנמלים, המזחים נמצאים במרחק הליכה בכל מקרה. המיטה הייתה לא נוחה, אבל היו וילונות כהים נחמדים כדי להקל על השינה. האמבטיה הייתה בסגנון ג'קוזי אבל עם סילונים במיקום הלא נכון עבור עיסוי, וראש המקלחת עם הסילונים בצד היה חסר לחץ מים מספיק כדי שיפעלו. שניהם היו מאכזבים למרות ההתלהבות הראשונית. הרחוב The Ramblas היה במרחק הליכה קצרה משם. עברתי כמה טיפוסים מפוקפקים שנמצאו בין אזור המזח לבין המקום בו נאספים כל התיירים. אבל זה לא מפחיד עד כדי כך שאי אפשר להסתדר עם להפטיר "סליחה אני לא מדברת אנגלית\לא מדברת ספרדית" ולהמשיך ללכת, גם עבור בחורה שנמצאת לבדה. אז אם אתם מעוניינים להיות בלב האזור התיירותי ועדיין להתאכסן בחדר נחמד, זה מיקום טוב. המטרו נמצא בקצה הרחוק של השדרה (במרחק חצי מיל בערך), כך שלהגיע לאתרים אחרים זה לא נורא אם לא אכפת לכם להתערבב בין האנשים בכל פעם בדרך. נסיעה במונית בין המלון לשדה התעופה הייתה שוד לאור היום ועלתה 35 יורו עבור נסיעה של 12 קילומטר.

מלון מצוין. מיקום מעולה. במרחק הליכה מכל מקום. צוות העובדים מאוד מסייע. הבר במלון מאוד יקר, אך מלבד זאת הייתי ממליץ מאוד.

מלון מצוין במיקום מעולה! הכל במרחק 10-15 דקות הליכה. הייתי בהחלט חוזר להתארח שם, מזנון ארוחת הבוקר מוערך יתר על המידה אבל בסך הכל זהו מלון נחמד מאד!

חדר מרווח ומאובזר היטב עם תקרה גבוה. חדר האמבטיה גדול עם אמבטיה ומקלחת משיש. המיטה הזוגית הגדולה ממש בסדר (נוחה). מועדון בריאות נחמד בגג המלון (הבריכה קטנטנה וסגורה). אנשי הקבלה מלאי עזרה אבל שירות החדרים היה ממש עלוב: מעולם לא הופיעו כשפנינו אליהם לכיבוי אורות. המיקום טוב, ליד המים (אין חוף), ליד מרכז הסחר העולמי. העיר מאוד מעניינת ויש הרבה מסעדות במרחק הליכה. שאטל ציבורי משדה התעופה מביא אתכם ל-Plaza Catalunya ב-35 דקות עבור 6 יורו לכיוון אחד. ואז 20 דקות הליכה למלון דרך La Rambla.

מיקום נהדר ונוח. הצוות היה נפלא ומאוד עוזר. מיזוג האוויר היה בעייתי. הנוף היה נהדר.

יש הרבה מלונות באיכות טובה מאד במחיר נמוך בהרבה. חשבתי שאם אשלם סכום נכבד עבור מלון מהשורה הראשונה זה ישפר את השהייה שלי בברצלונה וטעיתי... נ.ב. חיוב במלון של 20 יורו עבור 3 פחיות קולה של 330 מ"ל כשב- Tesco פחית עולה בסביבות 0.5 יורו

השהות הראשונה שלי במלון מרשת Eurostars. הייתי מאוד מרוצה מכל בחינה. אשהה שם שוב. יכול להיות שזה פחות יקר מה-Arts, אבל האיכות דומה. וגם המיקום נהדר.

המלון מפרסם כי לכל החדרים יש נוף למרינה או נוף לעיר, אבל לחלק מהחדרים יש נוף אל החצר האחורית... הייתי צריך לבקש נוף לעיר. יש רק שתי סוויטות בכל קומה עם נוף למרינה. חוץ מזה, מקום יפיפה...ואני מעצב! המיקום היה מושלם עבור השייט שלנו בחברת Windstar, שעגן ממש בסמוך למלון זה.

Great Location with friendly staff. The higher the floor the better the view.

We always stay here, when we can pick up a discounted room.

In for 6 days and impressed from the first moment. The room was good but nothing special but what made the stay was the quality of the service. From the concierge to the desk staff and in particular the hotel bar and restuarant. We had meals at the hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed the sophisticated ambiance and the quality of the food. Great view from the top of the hotel, watching a port a work.

1. Check in: very quick and efficient. Location: great location, a few minutes walk to the south end of Las Ramblas, which connects to Plaza Catalunya,Passa de Gracia and all must see areas. Lots of restaurants and Tapas bars along Las Ramblas.. The staff: absolutely fantasic, very friendly and helpful. I happened to attend a Barca football game whilst I was there and the gentleman at the door arranged a lift for me with the other hotel guests who were going to the stadium. The room: big, clean room, comfortable bed, a few english tv channels and top notch high speed wi-fi, which is free no matter how many devices you have. The bathroom is amazing! By far the most impressive bathroom I've seen in all 5* hotels I've stayed in... You want to stay in that shower all day. Now the downside of the hotel that marred my stay there is whilst the hotel is nice for a quiet night away from the hustle and bustle of the city it has extremely thin walls, you can hear people in the next room as if they are in the same room with you. Unfortunately I had two rowdy and loud gentlemen who kept me up until 4am (no joke) 3 nights in a row! On the 3rd night I had enough and called reception @ 3h30... they promptly came up, knocked and asked the rowdy couple to keep it down.. As a result I didn't have comfortable and peaceful sleep during my stay here but I feel like this is not the fault of the hotel per se. So I'd stay here again and hope I have better behaved guests as neighbors next time...

Uncomfortable beds and not enough pillows. The room wasn't too clean. Good customer service at the front desk. The food was the best!!!!

The hotel was very modern and clean, however the wifi did not work and the air conditioning was not working so the room was very hot. Location was nice and the hop on hop off bus was right outside.

Everything at the hotel was great with one exception. The front desk staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful to an English speaking person. They worked hard to make sure my wife and I had a great mini-vacation stay. The Cava was terrific as were the chocolate covered strawberries served in a martini glass. They were unlike any I had before. The only detractor was the internet service was terrible in my room and wasn't resolved during my two day stay (but it was a weekend in Spain and I shouldn't have been trying to work anyway!).

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Las Ramblas and with panoramic views of Barcelona from the eighth floor. The staff are very professional, but also friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Ideal location before or on returning from a cruise.

Eurostars Grand Marina is co-located with the Barcelona World Trade Center (so you can tell your cab driver to take you to the World Trade Center if they are unfamiliar with the hotel). It's an approximately 20 minute cab ride from the airport and 10 minutes by cab to the Cruise Terminals. For those interested in sightseeing, the hotel is about 15 minutes walking distance to the Christopher Columbus statue at the southern end of Las Ramblas and even closer to the CitySightseeing and Turistico bus stops. The hotel room itself was comfortably sized and had in-room A/C. The shower did not have hot water the first night we stayed, but it was Christmas Eve and the hotel was nearly empty. The hotel was hosting a large conference the second night, so there were no hot water problems that night. All together, very convenient to get to and from the airport and cruise terminal, and close enough to the city's sights so you can explore the city too.

Highly regarded; I'll return. BUT the connecting door allowed far, far, far too much noise from the adjoining room . I can't verify if the second door was closed, however.

The hotel was really nice, the staff were always friendly and happy to help regarding any queries. We asked for a sea view which we received, in addition to this the room was really spacious and comfortable, although it did get a little warm at times. The gym facilities etc were also very good. In terms of the location, there is a bit of a walk to and from the hotel as the building is slightly away from the main street. That said it is easy to walk to either Parallel, La Rambla, and Via Laietana as the bottoms of all these streets are nearby.

Lovely hotel in a great location for a four day stay in Barcelona. Experienced and helpful staff, big clean rooms and a great bathroom (deluxe room on the 7th floor) Ok pool is on the small side but overall an excellent stay at the Grand Marina. I will definately visit this hotel again.

We had also stayed in the nearby Hotel Arts, which claims to be a 5 Star hotel and is not. The Grand Marina was far superior all around.

Superb hotel. Well worth the money.Rooms were of very high standard.Staff very helpful. Location spot on; even by the tourist buses.The breakfast is the best we have ever had with the exception of Dubai.Very classy place.If you can afford it stay here there are no other choices !!!

The front desk never answered the 2 times that I called for a wake up call. The telephones in the rooms were cumbersome to use. Otherwise, a perfect place and service. Will definitely return to Eurostars on my next Barcelona trip.

This hotel is lovely. Enormous room by even North American standards. Fantastic service throughout our stay. Room service was wonderful. Stay here if you're in Barcelona. 5 star hotel at 4 star prices.

Everything was good except the room service, they are very rude.

Room was not ready to 2 pm we had just came off cruise and got to hotel early so we didn't expect it to be ready but requested a sea view and a none smoking room , thought as we were in no panic to get the room till the afternoon this was achievable , 2.30 pm we got our room and it was 3 rd floor smelly non sea facing room and quite dirty , after complaining they moved us to what we had asked for in the first instance , i felt as we had booked online and not direct they were trying to give us one of there lesser rooms , facilities location etc all good but in general this is not a 5 star hotel and prob a good 3/4 star

Fell in love with Barcelona and the hotel was out of this world,

I felt ripped off with a breakfast add on .... All my friends pd €5 for breakfast and me €27.50. Once I feel screwed ..... I understandably feel extorted and trust NOTHING from not only that point on ~ but retroactive. I will not use you or that hotel chain ever again.

1. Extremely poor service on check in. Not busy at the time but kept waiting far too long. 2.. Poor location for anything other than a journey on a ferry from Port Veil.. 3. Pool area pathetically small. 4. Over priced and over rated - 5 star? - a joke. The only thing which is 5 star is the price. 5. Poor view from most guest rooms. 6. My "Superior room", was certainly superior to an interior room with no window (if such a room exists). Goodness only knows which other type of room compared with which it is superior!

Everything was great except that it's a pretty long walk to the end of the pier and there is a bit of noise in the morning from departing cruise ships near by. Also, the pool is much smaller than it looks in the photos.

Excellent restaurant, bar and amenities. Room was a little noisy

The location and the quality of the Hotel was excellent. Cocktails were 15 euros. Only problems were the shower and safe in room 210. Staff were reluctant to move even though they didnt work. The internet speed is very slow too. The bed was massive in 325 and very good quality. About 30 euros for taxi from airport.

We booked 1 night for a pre-cruise stay. Very clean hotel, but a little pricey for what you get. The hotel is located in the front city facing side of the building, nothing has a complete water view. We were lucky and got a side room with a balcony and view of water/city. Easy 10 minute 30 euro cab ride from airport. Close to Las Ramblas and other sites. Would stay again,

Room was great, views great, service great, close to all amenities, quiet at night and had an exercise room and pool. We were trying to rent an apartment in the Old Town, but found this place as a welcome respite from the excitement and intensity of the City proper, without being far away.

On a short vacation , staff very helpfull , close to main activities

beautiful hotel in spectacular setting, though a long walk to town; excellent food, nice room and bath, but the bed pillows are too small and too hard; overall quite good.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with wonderful bathrooms. The amenities are many, beautiful dining areas, free high speed wifi, rooftop pool, exercise room, etc. However, the greatest strength of this hotel is the service. Every staff member I encountered, from the housekeeping (Clari), to the bar (Anna), to the restaurant, to the management (Nico), to the front desk (Carla), to the curb side bellboys (Oscar), was exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Muchas Gracias por todo!

The hotel was overall a nice place, but dissappointed with staff not understanding you at times (mostly spoke spanish and very little english) some staff were helpful mostly others not helpful at all. Location of hotel dissapointing as it was in an industrial area with cargo ships in and out all day long. Lighting in our room was very poor lights not bright enough many lights around but not bright enough espescially in bathroom light very poor, some lights not working at all. Was expecting like most hotels to have a gallery of boutique shops in hotel but not one was there. I asked to have a kettle and cups for my room as we had a suite, cups and kettle were delievered promptly, but the next day were taken away and i had to ask for them every day to be replaced, i even left a note near the cups to leave them, but as the cleaning staff could not read or speak english they were taken away always, not happy with that. Next time we visit Barcelona i do not think that i shall stay there, as language barrier to hard, and location not happy with it.

Immaculate hotel - very modern, comfortable beds and a/c, exceptionally attentive and helpful personnel. Taxi's always available, walking distance to Las Ramblas/subway/busses, SHORT CAB RIDE TO CRUISE SHIPS. Very accommodating to tourists even though the hotel clearly markets itself to business travellers and business functions. Great roof deck with pool, with plenty of towels & deck chairs, well equipped gym, plenty of reasonable eateries right on premises. Definitely request a 'city view' room however because otherwise your room will just face other rooms and overlook an interior courtyard where business functions (with loud music and food) are held, and you're not invited! (Before my cruise I spent one night here and after my cruise three nights at Rivoli Ramblas...VERY SORRY I didn't spend those three nights here, for essentially the same price.)

The only flaw was the size of the pool, and the fact that it was impossible to get chair if you were not there before the pool opened.

This was our second time staying here. The first time a couple of weeks earlier was great, so we stayed here again. Everything about this hotel is first class. However, beware that the hotel's courtyard is often used for evening/night time events and parties. Our room on this second stay was adjacent to the courtyard, and we were kept awake by the noise until well after midnight. We had an early flight to catch so the lack of sleep was unwelcome.
