Good value for a very basic hotel. Clean. Full kitchen does not include an oven and very few kitchen items for cooking. Efficient staff.

The place was old and in need of remodeling. It was clean.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel elevator or hallways when I arrived at the hotel. It looked like the elevator had not been swept or hallways had not been vacuumed in days. That caused me to inspect my room with intensity. I am already paranoid because i once worked in a hotel and know what the standards of clean are so for the first thing to see is a dirty elevator and hallway turned me off to extended stay. And when my TV repeatedly lost sound the front desk instructed me to unplug it and plug it back in and let them know what happened. Margarita was great!

THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! THEY LOBBY LOOKS ALL NICE RIGHT WHEN YOU COME IN BUT ONCE YOU GET OFF THE ELIVATOR ITS LIKE YOU WALKED INTO A DIFF HOTEL. THE HALLWAY CARPET HAD SPOTS ALL OVER AND IT WAS SO SICK I HAD TO CARRY MY STUFF B/C I DIDNT WANT MY BAGS TO TOUCH THAT SICK CARPET. ROOMS ARE OUTDATED AND ARE NOT LIKE WHAT THEY SHOW IN THE PICS. THE TV WAS THE SMALLEST THING IVE EVER SEEN AND IT WAS ABOUT 15 YEARS OLD. NO FLAT SCREEN LIKE SHOWN. THE SHEETS HAD SOMETHING YELLOW ALL OVER THEM AND HAD TO GO DOWN AND GET NEW ONES. LOOKED ALMOST LIKE SOMEONE WENT TO THE BATHROOM IN THE BED AND THEN THEY JUST LEFT IT. ALL TOGETHER I WOULD PAY MORE TO SAY AT A CLEAN HOTEL AND NOT A DUMP LIKE THIS ONE!

the cleanliness of our room was questionable, the pillows cases looks yellow aand smell dirty as well the rest of the room. the coffee maker was broken.the front desk and house keeping people was very nice,but the facility needs a remodeling .A.S.A.P.!!!!!!

The room was nice and clean with plenty of room. Only 2 pillows were provided and I would have liked a third. The sink was in the bathroom but I prefer it outside so that both of us could get dressed in the morning.

hotel is in bad shape. the hotel is very deceiving. the outside of the hotel is nice and up kept, the hotel lobby is nice and upkept and then when you head to ur room, the rugs are dirty and stained and the rooms are disgustingly dirty and dusty. the beds are so hard and the blankets feel like sand paper. you pay for what u get here.. there is a reason its the cheapest hotel in bloomington.

This was the most affordable option for coming into town for a seminar that my non-profit agency was paying for and it was close to the hotel where the seminar was being held, so that's why I picked it. The lobby looked very nice, and was updated and clean. The rest of the place, however, was dingy and smelled of smoke (the hallways especially). My room was clean, but the remote to the TV was broken, and when I went to the desk to get a replacement, they couldn't find one, so they gave me new batteries and it still didn't work. Also, there was no shower curtain on the bathtub/shower, and the lampshades were really dirty and stained. Fridge and appliances were clean, though. Besides being close to where I needed to go, nothing desirable about the location. Only within walking distance of a Steak and Shake and a Burger King that's attached to a gas station. I probably wouldn't stay there again, affordable or not.

I was very happy with the room

We are non-smokers. The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. This is very undesirable for us and we would prefer a 100% no-smoking hotel. The hotel appeared to be in poor repair, however, we did hear from the desk clerk that you were remodeling the hotel in the near future. This is desperately needed.

Stayed here for a parent weekend. The children had no problems with the comfort of the beds but the adults definitely felt the mattresses were uncomfortable if you have a back problem. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the hotel was quiet and located on the main street, convenient to restaurants and the two college campuses. I would recommend it for a short stay.

The carpets are pretty worn out. The tv was very small and had a twitchy picture. no shower curtain. All the room lights were a blueish CFl and made the lighting very industrial. The staff was very nice though. It's a little hard to get to the hotel- sort of back behind a gas station and a burger king even though it can be seen from the main road. A cheap room, nothing more.

It was clean and very reasonably priced. Since this was just a stop over in a road trip, that's all I needed. I loved the convenience of the kitchenette. I had to go to the front desk before my shower in the morning to get a hair dryer because there was only one person on duty and she couldn't leave the desk to bring it to me. So, if you need a hair dryer, be advised to get it the night before.

the room had lots of things that would make a couple days stay very affordable, fridge, microwave, stove, dishes, etc. all we used was the bed and the shower but those were just fine for the price

My fiance and I stayed here for one night and were incredibly impressed. The front desk person was extremely friendly. Our room was clean and we were very comfortable. We both decided we would definitely stay again!

I've stayed at several other Extended Stay hotels in the past, and never had a bad experience. Their hotels were always clean and well-maintained. This was not the case here. Carpet was stained, the room did not smell good, and the tv was only a 19' crt, and was not high enough to watch comfortably from a reclined position on the bed.

Hotel was great for a stop over. Not in a busy area, but a short drive to all services.

The staff was friendly and wasted no time getting us checked in. The lobby and halls were very clean and neat. Our room, a king suite was clean and neat. The kitchen area was exceptionally clean and given our room was smoking- absolutely no smoke smell at all. Very impressed for such low cost. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Nothing fancy, but a good location and an adequate roof over your head. A plus having the larger refrigerator and kitchen facilities. Overall facility maintenance looked adequate, and the common areas pretty clean. The rooms always seem to just get a minimal pass-through, move anything a half inch and there's a thick layer of duct and debris, and the bathrooms don't appear to have much effort put into them. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

WE STAYED ONLY FOR A FEW HOURS AS I HAD AND EARLY FLIGHT OUT IN THE MORNING IN BLOOMINGTON.

This is a strange hotel. The staff was not particularly helpful, and it is the most bare bones hotel I have been to in terms of amenities No shampoo, no internet, no wake-up call! However, oddly, they did offer complimentary local paper and a small kitchen in the room. And the room itself was nicer than your typical Super 8 or Days Inn. (Even though the TV was small, it had all the cable channels). It also seemed quiet. So, for the price, the hotel is fine.

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times and will continue to do so. Basic but clean and affordable. You won't find another room with a kitchenette for this price. One con, walls are relatively thin although I've never been bothered by a neighbor. Might hear a tv once in a while if it's on really loud in the next room. Staff is accommodating and friendly.

Checking in and out went easy and fast with friendly, competent staff. Overall hotel look was acceptable, but individual room cleanliness could use help. Looks like the cleaning staff doesn't have the time to do much more than a quick walk-through. Dust and dirt evident in areas not easily accessible, and bathroom cleanliness was below what I'd expect. Room temperature took a little effort at the outside temperatures, since the temperature set was either with cooling on or heat on. Would be a plus if you could just set a temperature and forget it.

The hotel was in need of major updates. The carpet, in the hallways, was worn out and dirty. Our room was very "bare bones". We felt lucky to at least have some soap in there, as there wasn't anything else. Our room was supposed to be Non-smoking, but everything in it smelled of smoke.

I had never stayed at an extended stay before and was happily surpirsed that there was a fridge, stove, microwave, sink and cutlery for your stay. If I would have known that I would have brought food. Besides that, the hotel wasn't new by any means, but for a one night stay by myself it was perfect. It was quiet!

For the cost, this hotel is a fine choice. We needed something close to a wedding reception. The room was clean. The bed was not comfortable, but this was somewhat expected.

The room was in good condition. The staff was cordial and check in was relatively quick. The room had a cooking odor that did not leave during our 2 day stay. The room window looked as if it hadn't been washed for a while. Those two items were really the only issues that needed improvement. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

The hotel was fine, but there were a couple of things that I would just expect from a hotel - shampoo and free Internet access. Neither here, so be forewarned.

The room was very clean, we had a couple of minor maintenance issues (lock was sticking) and the TV remote was not working, promptly they were out to give us a new remote and fix the lock. We had never stayed in an Extended Stay, so we were not aware there would not be daily maid service, but we exchanged our towels and got new coffee packets daily without any trouble. The cost of the stay was worth a little extra work. We would most defintly stay again.

rooms were clean but not clean if that makes scents. the t.v. had minimum channels, and bring your own dish cleaning supplies and hair dryer.

Internet sites indicate Extended Stay hotels is in bankruptcy. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 12 years with good results. However, things have deteriorated. 1. Went in room, bird had made a major mess on outside of window. Requested it be cleaned. Never done. I ended up doing it myself. 2. 3rd floor used to be smoking. Converted to non-smoking. Room fine.. Hallway reeked of smoke. Carpet not changed since conversion and extremely dirty. 3. Kitchen sink did not drain well. Maintenance said that several sinks were installed with gasket partially obstructing water flow. He was right.... 11 years +/- ago??? 4. Trash container outside overflowing. Reported it, and it was later emptied. Was obvious. People we came in contact with were very nice, but it is obvious maintenanceis suffering probably due to bankruptcy....

I live in the area and have three teenagers at home. I was preparing for my daughters graduation most of the week. . I just went there for the night for some pease and quiet and that's exactly what I got. I loved my stay there. I will definetly use Extended Stay again.
