It was comfortable and the hotel was well maintained

I went with friends to this special weekend but unfortunatly not everything was as I expected. we booked four bedroom. Two of the rooms were not so clean but it was ok. But the other two were really in bad condition. The bathtube was not able to be used in both rooms becauseeach time we used the sink the water flushed back in the bathtube with a dark smelling water. Another thing did not satisfay our expectation was the breakfast served.

Red Roof was clean and friendly service. The bed linens did not stay on the bed. A fitted sheet that did not fit right, kept slipping off corners. Towels could have been a little thicker, very thin. Breakfast was not one of the best, I have had a lot more variety at other hotels. All in all the hotel was nice for the price.

Nice clean hotel. located close to Duch Wonderland Sight and Sound theater American music Theater.

Motel appearance was nice and clean! the breakfast was nice and abundance of food, waffles, fruit, muffins, and breakfast gravy. The motel hallway was noisy and you hear everyone closing their doors. the tv next door was on all night and we could hear it through our wall! Towels were like sand paper and very rough. Cleanliness of room was just ok and no flat screen tv yet! Hotel staff were friendly and helpful! A good night sleep was not found on the third floor! We will return in a pinch!!

Very noisy room...the motel is located on a road with a lot of truck traffic and they chose to put us in the room closest to the road

We were only staying one night and just being the two of us, don't have to be too picky.

We spent two nights at Red Roof Inn. Our stay was good but they need to update the linens - towels, washcloths - they weren't very thick or absorbent. The contentinal breakfast need a little more selections. Also, the rate are higher on Thursday, Friday & Saturdays need to be reexamined, people would stay more on those days if the rates didn't change so drastically.

Given the brand name, we expected more from this hotel. The sheets were dingy giving the appearance of being unclean, but there was no smell. The towels were rough on the skin (we do not have sensitive skin)! The customer service definitely needs improvement. Upon check-in, the door was open. I called to the front desk to report this and the front desk said he would call back but never did. The housekeeper did show up, but did not speak English and it was difficult to communicate with her as to why the door was open. The next morning at breakfast (9:00am) the waffle station was a mess, the garbage was overflowing, there was no milk and when we asked the front desk for help, we got the feeling we were interrupting the front desk person from his private conversation on his cell phone. - WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN!

Overall it was not a bad place to stay for just one night. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The only problem we had was that the cable was not working. There were only about 5 channels that were working and when I called to inform the front desk they said there wasn't really anything they could do about it. Having two children with me it would have been nice to have something for them to watch. For the price I would probably stay here again. Especially for only one night.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. More than half the tv channels didn't work or have sound. The breakfast is coffee and a mini muffin... So plan on going out. I had a good night's sleep and was close to where I needed to be. Just don't go in with high expectations.

We were quite disappointed in our trip this time at the Red Roof Inn of Lancaster. We always book rooms with king beds just because that is what we are use to and comfortable with. Much to our surprise when we arrive, we are told they had to switch our room ( because of plumbing problems)to a double bed room with only full size beds, not queen but full size. Needless to say we were a little cramped for room. I would have been nice if they would have offered a little something to compensate for it but they didn't even offer.

Price was reasonable however you get what u pay for old place smell in hallway

We stayed on night. It was clean and comfortable. There is a very nice area for breakfast. The breakfast was good.

A very friendly, helpful staff could not offset the poor quality of the bed. It was advertised as a King, which it was not. The bed was also past it's usefulness with two large canyons that were difficult to escape. The HVAC unit was very noisy and also probably quite old. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

Great breakfast, hotel looked great at first glance but not that great up close, but well worth the economical price.

Convenient location in the center of town. It is basically a clean motel except the towels were dingy and very scratchy.

The tv was old and didnt work right the rooms were gross and out dated! The service was poor! Free breakfast was worthless!

Room very clean and comfortable. Hearty continental breakfast. Only issue was elevator. You have to go outside to get on elevator. Need better signage to designate Lobby location. Will stay again.

Of the many hotels in Lancaster, Red Roof inn was the best so far. The check-in was quick & even got in earlier than the 3pm check in time. The room was clean and even smelled clean. The bed was very comfortable...better then the one I have at home. Breakfast wasn't too good and way to early (6-9am), but there were a few places outside the hotel I wanted to go to anyways. Definitely reccommend it to anyone.

You know it's not going to be 5 star luxury but for what it is, an inexpensive alternative that's family friendly, it did a really good job and hit all marks.

Neat room & courteous service.

red roof was very nice, clean hotel....room was comfortable....they do need to remodel....carpet and bed linens outdated....the bathroom shower needs to be rechalked....

My only complaint was the fan on the AC/Heater unit was very loud. Had to turn it off so I could get some sleep.

The Red Roof Inn is always my hotel of choice when I am in the area. Compared to other hotels , it is by far the best value . Why spend $100 or more for a room you basically will only sleep in ?? I've tried several less expensive hotels in the neighborhood but cleanliness is a factor. My only suggestion is for using fabric softener in the linens. The hotel is clean, affordable, great location, and many TV channels.

Had aproblem with the T.V. it took a day to fix, but then all was alright. Would have liked some perk for the inconvience.

comfortable lodgings at a comfortable price

When I checked in they said they didn't have king available that was offered on Hotels.com...I said I would not have been there without their recommendation... Room available was clean and easy access.
