Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi - רומא

This was my sixth time coming back to Rome for vacation, and the sixth different place I've stayed. From what I've experienced I would recommend staying at the Antico for its location, service, price, and quality. I can't speak to the sizes of the smaller rooms, or the largest of the rooms, but we stayed in a double deluxe. It was well-sized for European standards and had an amazing view of the church directly across the street. It's a simple 5-minute jaunt to two different metro stops (Cavour and Termini), 15-min easy stroll to the Colosseum, 10-min stroll to Repubblica and there are restaurants galore in every direction. I would recommend purchasing the breakfast as well since it is actually very well loaded with options. The A/C in the room wasn't perfect but opening the windows helped a lot during the hottest points of the day, though that did let in a lot of street noise (which speaks to the quality of the windows, I suppose). However, this was not really an issue since I'm not the type to stay in my room while on vacation. The hotel is very clean, very historic, peaceful and the service was great.

Close to Termini rail station and a hop on hop off bus stop outside the front door. Within walking distance to the Colosseum and a longer walk or a cheap cab to the majority of downtown Rome shopping and sightseeing.The gentlemen at the service desk were very friendly and helpful and a pretty good selection of food for breakfast provided. Room was a touch small for the 4 of us with luggage but it is Europe and compared to some hotels we stayed in it was fine. Only real fault was the noise from the road and outside filtering up through windows, but after a big day of walking Rome exhaustion kicks in and it doesn't matter.

Dingy room, terrible decore, stains in the bed, walls and carpet, bad service from concierge. Room was nothing like advertised. This was for a romantic getaway, we left after complaining and stayed at the 5* Palazzo Manfreddi (Roman colussium) instead. This was excellent and worth every euro!

Bedroom a good size but bathroom very small.

My only worry about this wonderful hotel is the WiFi service. It doesn't reach some rooms. The staff was very helpful and set me up in an empty reception room where I could get reception. Otherwise it's THE BEST HOTEL IN ROME!

4 star luxury is pushing it, it's a 3 star hotel in a very good location. 5 mins walk from the terminus station, 15 mins to the Colosseum. Near very pretty area north of Cavour metro. Clean but rooms were small. We had twin beds but they were pushed right up against each other so not ideal for sharers rather than couple! Staff friendly. Breakfast very poor though - cold scrambled egg :-( Would recommend but don't expect luxury. Pretty building though and great location to explore from.

I stayed in several hotels during my week stay in Rome. This one was probably the highest quality for the price, but had a less personal feel. The building is quite historic with impressive views of local architecture, but is nicely renovated. There is a lovely enclosed plaza which is open as a bar in the evening, and on the 4th floor where I stayed there was also a small porch. The 2 major downsides were that wireless is not included in the price of the hotel, and that the room we were in smelled faintly of cigarettes.

Everything was ok. The parking in the backyard was free of charge. Bathroom was a little small but still acceptable. The open buses for touristic tours stps in front of the hotel, this was excellent. Traffic around the hotel was intensive. You need to close the windows. Service was friendly. All in all we would turn back to this hotel. Excellent choice.

This is a great hotel. Reasonable by Rome price standards. Close to Termini Rail Station and an easy walk to all of the major tourist spots except the Vatican. (But catch the 40 bus at Termini and you're at the Vatican in 15 minutes.) The building is beautiful. Central courtyard takes yiu away from busy Rome. Breakfast is very nice and bountiful. I will certainly stay here again when visiting Rome, My only complaints: our bath did not have a stand-up shower but we find all European plumbing to be inadequate in some regard; and, the wireless internet at €12 was not too accessible in our room (room 210) even though the business office that housed the router was just below our room. Further, the access code permitted only access for only one device.

We only had a one night stay but it was enough to tell us to re-visit. Before we do that we just hope that they get their wifi sorted out. It's a mess. And the staff at breakfast were sharp and unfriendly.... it seemed that making an expresso was a bigger chore than we expected. But the receptionists were superb and helpful and charming. The bed was very comfortable but the room was cramped and the shower was a tight squeeze and not very user friendly. Nevertheless we look forward to our next visit as it is so well located.

High ceilings, comfy bed, lots of closet space, even a toothbrush in the bathroom and a view of our own duomo. Good breakfast, courteous staff. Would stay there again. Got much more than we expected. Very roomy for a European hotel!

This was our first hotel experience in ITaly and compared to all the others we stayed at later on it was the worst. The bathroom was disgusting, black mold around the shower, and the shower leaked. IT was very noisy in the room as construction was going on just outside our room facing the alley! We were up early for tourist stuff so it didn't matter much anyway. The staff were quite friendly so that was nice. Italian breakfast is just horrible no matter where you have it (except at the Waldorf Astoria) so commenting on the breakfast wouldn't really make a big difference! From talking with our friend who also stayed here, he said this hotel was actually quite good for ROme. So basically don't go expecting perfection cause I don't think you will ever truly be happy if you are from North America!

A great hotel with some wonderful service! The location is good and within a 20 minute walk of sights like the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. The breakfast was also very nice.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but that could not overcome the out dated room. Everything needed updating: carpet, paint, bathroom, etc. We stayed here because it is close to the train station for our last night in Rome so we could catch the train to the airport conveniently. Reviews were good too, so maybe we had the last outdated room? The neighborhood did not appear very good. Men drinking in alleys and in the piazza across the street. We had spent four nights in Rome earlier in the week near piazza barberrini and never felt uncomfortable walking around on any street after dark like we did in this neighborhood. Next time we'll jump on the underground train, move away from this area and stay near a metro stop rather than near the main terminal.

Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta, mutta ehkä pieni englanninkielenkurssi tekisi hyvää. Huoneissa havaitut viat(safetyboxi ei toiminut,pistorasia oli uponnut seinän sisälle) korjattiin heti välittömästi, joten asiat eivät päässeet harmittamaan. Hotelli oli myös erittäin siisti, muualtakin kuin aulasta. Sijainti oli loistava. Ainoa käsittämätön asia on nk.kaupunkivero mikä perittiin lähtiessä, mutta sehän ei ole tietenkään hotellin vika. Ei mitään pahaa sanottavaa tästä hotellista, voin lämpimästi suositella.

El hotel es encantador, tiene unas salas preciosas aunque en el baño de la habitación se echaba en falta algo de mantenimiento y en la TV algún canal que no fuera en italiano.El desayuno correcto, la situación frente a Sta. Maria Magiore una de sus impresionantes basilicas, y muy cerca de termini, con metro, autobuses y tranvía, muchos sitios para comer y a 20´de Colosseo

Hotellet hadde ikke wifi på rommet selv om de påstår dette på nettsidene. Frokosten var beskjeden og servicen ved frokostbuffeten var dårlig. Beliggenhet på hotellet er veldig bra og rommet vi bodde på med to voksne og to barn var romslig.

Подставы такой мы не ожидали. Приехав заселятся в 22.30 в отель нам заявили что наш оплаченный номер они продали и свободных номеров нет. После долгих ругательств нам предложили переехать в 3 звезды. Выбора не было, или ночевать на улице. Утром придя опять выяснить отношения, Случайно загленув в сетку расселения я увидел напротив наших фамилий пометку трехзвездочного отеля, так что все было продумано подлыми итальяшками заранее. Это наш случай, сами думайте селится или нет. К стати заявленной парковки у отеля нет.

Ottimo Hotel, pulito e lussuoso, personale gentile e cordiale. Unico neo la colazione, secondo me non all'altezza di un 4 stelle

Hotellet er fint og udmærket, men værelset var en anelse småt. Morgenmadsbuffeten trækker ned. Den er decideret ringe. Kold kaffe, kolde æg, kedelige kogte pølser til rørægen. Sådan var oplevelsen ikke blot 1 dag, men hver dag under vores ophold. Spring morgenmadsbuffeten over og hotellet er ok, men ikke mere end til 3 stjerner.

Det vi saknade var en bar där vi 3 familjer kunde sitta på kvällen tillsammans och ta något att dricka,

El hotel está muy bien situado, al lado de Santa Maria Maggiore, ocupa un antiguo palacio restaurado. El trato de los empleados ha sido bueno. En cambio creo que la calidad del desayuno es mejorable.

Hotelli on kätevästi lähellä Terminin rautatieasemaa ja sieltä on lyhyt matka useisiin päänähtävyyksiin. Lisäksi heti hotellin ulkopuolelta pääsee hopon-hopoff -bussin kyytiin parin tunnin kaupunkikierrokselle. Huoneemme oli pieni mutta siisti ja sänky oli hyvä. Aamiaisella oli makeiden kakkujen ja keksien lisäksi mm. tuoretta leipää ja sulatejuustoa, hedelmät olivat ankeaa purkkihedelmäsalaattia. Ihan mukava pieni hotelli hyvällä paikalla ja kohtuuhintainen, mutta luokitukseksi antaisin maksimissaan 3 tähteä. Nettisivujen hulppeat kuvat eivät vastaa totuutta kaikilta osin.

Huone oli todella pieni ja aamupala kylmää. Muuten ok, sijainti hyvä. Kolmen tähden hotelli.

God beliggenhed, tæt på alt! Værelserne er lidt små, men ellers fine. Morgenmaden er meget ringe, så spis hellere ude.

A 4-star hotel with black mold in the bathroom and a lousy breakfast "buffet". The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Really bad!

Til tross for bekreftet bestilling lang tid i forveien fikk vi ikke rom første natten pga overbooking. Dette medførte at vi måtte bo første natten på et hotell i nærheten som var langt fra tilfredstillende. Ellers var hotellet bra med stort rom og bad og med god frokost. Beliggenheten var også tilfredstillende med gåavstand til de fleste severdigheter og kort avstand til buss tog og Metro.

Avevo chiesto una camera quadrupla, al mio arrivo mi è stato detto che la quadrupla non era disponibile e che avremmo alloggiato in un appartamento. Può capitare,... però avrei gradito almeno un preavviso con la possibilità di scegliere per tempo un'altro albergo. Le condizioni dell'appartamento erano mediocri. Ben arredato, ma molto molto rumoroso e di notte, al piano inferiore una luce dell'insegna di un negozio di fronte illumnava tutta la camera. Anche al piano superiore la notte non è stato possibile dormire per il grandissimo rumore che proveniva dalla scalinata adiacente l'appartamento (che ovviamente aveva delle pareti molto sottili). Altro problema è la porta che non aprendosi a sufficienza lasciava passare solo persone molto esili... esperienza da non ripetere.

Helt ok hotell, rolig og sentralt. Vi fikk et litt slitt rom, men det var deilig med aircondition. Vi hadde et fint oppholdt i Roma.

O HOTEL ESTÁ SITUADO EM UM PONTO MUITO BOM DA CIDADE. AS PESSOAS QUE TRABALHAM NO HOTEL, EM SUA MAIORIA, SÃO SIMPÁTICAS.

Hotellet var ok og lå nærme metro og buss stasjon. Det som var litt dårlig var frokosten og at det ikke var bar på hotellet etter kl 20, Men det løste vi med kisoksen på hjørnet som serverte oss det vi trengte.Burde vært litt bedre tilbud til frokost.

Centralt beliggende og ok til prisen. Morgenmaden er kedelig, bør ikke være inkluderet i prisen.

Værelserne er nærmest klaustrofobisk, senge er slidte og man ligger dårligt. Det er langt fra et 4 stjernet hotel og er ikke pengene værd. Men området er rigtig godt tæt på alt og med masser af gode spise steder. Så gå efter noget billiger i samme område, det findes og er også bedre.
