Super 8 Airdrie Ab - איירדרי

It was just a one night stay but it was good. Was expecting a fresher breakfast though. My daughter loved the waffle making.

The hotel was a great location for what we required. The downside was that the hotel had far too much noise in the wee hours of the night. Not everyone enjoys late night rowdy party animals roaming the halways and slamming against walls trying to wake up everyone on the same floor. There was no respect when it came to others that were trying to sleep. I think the hotel staff could have done a better job controlling the noise both nights we stayed.

There was a couple of matters that I could mention [1] The bathroom fan was very noisey. [2] The coffe pot was left full of old coffee.

Very friendly staff. The breakfast was great!

Rooms are a little on the small side, beds are very firm but ok, place is clean, parking is tight for larger vehicles. For the price can't complain. If you want big pillow top bed and fancy room you will need to spend more somewhere else.

Everything fine - staff friendly, usual satisfactory complementary breakfast, room clean, no problems. It is a three star so expect accordingly.

Overall ok hotel for the price. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Only complaint was that there is no inhouse gym or pool. The complimentary breakfast was sub standard (ex. coffee, toast, cereal)

The room was very clean and Quite, the staff were attentive - Just a couple complaints 1.missed a full length mirror or mirror outside the washroom and. would have liked a note pad and pen on the desk 2. the shower curtain was worn looking

I wonder what kind of standards are in place for this hotel to have the "Award for Excellence" displayed on the wall of the lobby. The same plastic wrapper was on the floor and a "caution wet floor" sign in the elevator during the 20 hours I was at this hotel. I would have to take some responsibility for not complaining during my stay but I just wanted to get out of there. So what was wrong - fridge made a noise like a wasp nest was inside (had to unplug it), air conditioner did not cool down the room and left a huge wet spot on the carpet. The guts of an old air conditioner was sitting on the ground beside the building outside. And on check out the police where there (3 squad cars) investigating several car break-ins that occurred in the parking lot outside the front of the lobby. We will not be staying there again.

I found the hotel to be fairly comfortable and appreciated that they have a free breakfast. I also appreciated the good price I got through Hotel.ca. I was a bit unhappy that there was no pool in the hotel. I had seen a photo of a waterslide on their site so assumed that they had a pool/waterslide and they did not. They did give vouchers for guests to use the leisure center pool across the street which helped. I guess it was partly my fault for not reading the fine print however I was looking for a hotel with a pool and water slide. All in all the hotel was fine.

Fine - we just needed a place to stay the night before flying out of the Calgary airport. Friendly staff.

Note that there is no pool in the hotel, but you are given passes for the pool at the recreation complex across the street. This gives you access to a wonderful family aquatic centre, which more than makes up for the inconvenience of having to leave the hotel building.

Pros: great location, breakfast, price, parking lot space, fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. Cons: noise (the air conditioner was jokingly referred to as the 'air craft engine', fan feature on air conditioner was non functioning. Bathroom fan was very loud and rattled, fridge hummed very loudly for a little one, when their conditioner kicked off we could hear noise from all over the hotel, yelling children and arguments from the adjoining room next door, people walking heavily above. With all this said we were not in the room much. It is a good base to see the Calgary area including Cross Iron Mills

Found Staff to be very accomodating. Location was great for the kids, right across from a water recreation facility.

Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. Breakfast was good, and passes to the recreation centre across the street were a bonus.

We were very pleased with the staff, the lady on the front counter the first night was absolutely wonderful..She directed us to some good restaurants, and gave us ideas of what we could do in the area. Thank you to the staff for all you do. It was a great experience.

Good hotel. Pricey for quality. breakfast good but would like to see some scrambled eggs that I have seen at other Super 8's. Generally, Airdrie has pricey hotel rates at all chains. Someone could build another hotel and make good money!

A little frustration resulted from a non functioning telephone. Unable to make a local phone call. Reported issue to desk clerk and she failed to leave a message for maintenance people.

Hotel was ok for the price.

Very very nice. And the town is beautiful. Awesome museum. Staff very very nice. Tv was a bit blurry on the top 2-3 inch. But who cares. Very clean

We enjoyed our stay very much. At bookin time we mentioned we would be booking in late (11 pm) - at 10:30 p.m. when we did arrive we were treated very nice - and at 4:30 a.m. - they had coffee on and toast and cereals for breakfast even though the continental breakfast didn't open till 6 am - we felt very catered too.... Thanks so much.

Overall the stay was great, only hiccup was that with booking indirectly, we were registered into a pet room and they are unable to change the room in their system with being booked through a 3rd party once the room number is assigned.

Staff very friendly and Hotel very clean. The refigerator was a bit noisy and had to be turned off.

Pleasant and friendly. Really liked the gym pass to the recreational center. Thank you

This is a basic hotel. No pool or water slide, but they do give you free passes to the Rec Centre right across the street which has a lazy river, diving boards, rope swing,lane swim, hot tub, kiddie pool. Breakfast is cereals, yogurt, waffles, toast, etc, Enough to get you started. Nice 5 min drive to Cross Iron MIlls, Lowe's, and a Costco.

The breakfast was better than expected. The only setback was the shower. It would go cold while already being hot. It did this consistently at three different occasions all at different times of the day. Each of the three guests took a shower - one in the morning and the other two at night. Other than that, the staff was very cordial.

the hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a large selection of foods to choose from. The only downfall of our stay was I booked this hotel so we could use the pool and hot tub that evening, but found out the facilities were across the street at the public center. I am sure it was very nice, but at minus 40C we were not going across the street for a swim.

On arrival direct from airport and tired the reception staff were very helpfull and made you feel as though youd been their before and very welcome. Room was clean and warm. Tea coffee always kept stocked and extra supplies available from reception. Towels replaced as needed and bed always made. receptrion was maned 24Hrs and this made you feel safe. Would recomend as first night stop from airport. rooms away from highway are quieter. Would use again.

Preisgünstiges Hotel, bequem zu erreichen. Praktisch nahe für Anmieter von Fraserway-Campermobilen (ca. 1,5 km). Sauber, freundlich. Frühstück allerdings typisch nordamerikanisch: kein Käse, keine Wurst, nur Marmeladen, Labbertoastbrot, Waffelmaschine. Besteck / Teller, alles in Wegwerfplastik.

Als je niet in het drukke Calgary zelf wil zitten is dit hotel in Airdrie een goede uitvalbasis. Calgary zelf is een half uurtje rijden. Verwacht niet veel van de omgeving zelf maar het hotel is wat je van een Super 8 mag verwachten. Gewoon goed zonder fratsen. Het internationale vliegveld van Calgary ligt op slechts 20 minuten afstand.

Na een vlucht van Amsterdam naar Calgary, leek het ons verstandig om niet direct met een huurauto in Canada op pad te gaan. Eerst bijkomen en uitrusten van de vlucht. Hebben we kunnen doen! Naar volle tevredenheid. Dat het hotelontbijt in Nederland er anders uitziet; wisten we.
