Good price, friendly, knowledgable staff, comfortable, clean, nice pool area, close to restaurants. Great overall experiance!!!

Enjoyed our stay very much! I thought the spurious trees growing behind and against the back side of the buildings should be pruned off, they were pruned only to look nice from the street side. From the dog walk area the piles of trash and trees growing against the side and back of the building was very ugly - gave a whole different view of the place considering it would only take a day or two to clean them up. I work in maintenance at RV campgrounds and Resorts, appearance is everything!

What I would expect from a Super 8 hotel. Breakfast was nothing special and actually skipped it the second morning. Nice to have a pool on-site. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms. Only one complaint. There are two small hot tubs in the pool area, which would be great if they both worked. Only one did. Otherwise we would go back stay.

Rooms were nicely remodeled and clean but I give it a 3 because of the bathrooms which were probably only painted and while they were ok, not as clean as I would have liked. Beds were comfortable. Dogs welcome. Breakfast was convenient. Would stay again.

Very clean. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Great breakfast. Indoor pool and hot tub. Sauna and an outdoor sundeck with two jacuzzi hot tubs. Much more than what you would expect from Super 8 yet still at a Super 8 price.

The staff at the front desk were very kind and friendly. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I really appreciate that Super 8 Motels allow for pets, my dog was glad she could spend the night with me.

For an inexpensive hotel, this a great place. We used the pool and the hot tub, all very clean and the beds were comfortable. They are dog friendly, and that's important for us. It's also right across the road from the salida hot springs pool, and the hotel management will give you discount coupons for use of that facility too. We will be visiting again for sure, we're regulars, we are up there 5 or 6 times per summer.

We stayed three nights but had to switch rooms the last night. The first room was excellent..... the second room not so good. This owner is in the process of remodeling the place - and is somewhat on target....Suggestions would be to install receptical strips so lap top/phone etc can be plugged in without moving furniture.... Second would be - shorten the drapes so the fan does not blow them out into the room all night. Have them fix that and let us know - we will go back and stay again

even with the remodeling going on the place was very quite at night and the staff was wonderful! The room was very clean and the towels were to die for. it was a very welcome change from our stay in albuquerque!!

The rooms were very clean, the management were extremely nice and helpful and the hot tubs and whirlpools were so relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Salida area.

Not the fanciest but for the price it is a great place to stay. We spent 5 nights and had no complaints. Management is fantastic.

This is a definite 5 (within the category of inexpensive motels). The owners are friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about their gem of a town. Hot springs and an indoor pool are directly across the street, and perfect after a day of whitewater rafting, skiing, or whatever outdoor activity brings you to this lovely and still mostly unspoiled area of Colorado.

Great location, clean, friendly staff, quiet rooms. Nice pool & hot tub; covered for those rainy days. No problem locking my bike up outside too.

The staff and management at the hotel were great; very helpful and very friendly. It seemed like we were stay with friends.

we had occasion to contact the management about our reservation on two occasions. They were very unsympathetic to traveler's concerns.They made it very clear that once they had our money, they cared nothing about the quality of our stay. I would definitely NOT stay with them again.
