Super 8 Castle Rock Colorado - Castle Rock

This is my second time there and I will definitely use it again. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The facility is old, but well maintained. They went out of their way to make me comfortable.

Perfect for a quick night in transit. Clean, the beds were comfortable. Smelled a bit like smoke even though a non-smoking room...but the whole motel smelled like that.

Everything was good for the price, will definitely come back again.

Convenience, location, service were fine for the price and the price was very competitive. It was reasonably clean with nobedbugs. However, there's no such thing as a non-smoking room, even though some were supposed to be. The first room I was in was horrible, and though they were very cooperative in moving me to another "non-smoking" room, it was nearly as bad. I didn't think I was that sensitive to smoke, but it was really unpleasant.

This is a barebones budget-motel. What you need is there, but nothing more. I would stay there again if the rate is good, because everything was clean, albeat worn, but I wouldn't recommend it to spoiled friends with higher standards, even though the rooms are larger and more comfortable and much less costly than rooms in Europe.It is a budget plkace, and I paid a budget rate - so it was okay.

HORRIBLE, UNHEALTHY it was the worst stay EVER of traveling - smelled a little smokey when we stopped in but were assured of a non smoking room - then we left to visit area, friends- later walked up to room and hall was smokey - our nonsmoking room across from one not labeled. Odor was so offensive, woke us up in the night several times, we couldn't exit fast enough the next am - our luggage and clothing outside to deodorize next day, tried Febreze, still stinks, washing in baking soda water next - unhealthy for staff and guests to stay here -

Before even arriving, the address listed on their website was not correct. Once I finally got there and began checking in, the front desk clerk was rude to me and even sent me to a room that was already occupied. I went back to her and she said she was sorry and got me the correct room, which was clean and decent.

We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels/ motels. On entering the reception it did not smell clean. It messy behind the reception. If you wanted the phone switched on in the room you had to pay a deposit. We needed a roll away bed which was extra . It would not even fit in the room.. It cost nothing to be clean . Bed cover had burn hole in it. Just not a nice place.

The room was fine for the price. Staff was very helpful.

I chose to stay here based on price and location. I'm familiar with the area, so I know it's really safe. While the location is really great, the condition of the hotel itself is less desirable. Hallways reek of smoke, thankfully the room did not. The woman at the front desk when I was checking in made me stand there for several minutes without verbally acknowledging my while she changed her oxygen tank. I would have been fine with a "I'll be with you in a minute." When she finally did get to my check in she said I needed to pay a deposit on the phone, in cash. I gave her the money and as she was getting my change she said it was optional. I told her I wanted my deposit back since I was not planning on using the phone because I have a cell phone. I also told her that she should let customers know up front this is optional and not required as she led me to believe. While this place might be fine for an overnight stay, the price and location is all it has going for it. Don't expect much in the way of customer service or a relaxing room.

This hotel was very basic, clean and no frills with a helpful and friendly hotel staff when we checked in. We did however, have a horrible time when we checked out at 3 am to catch a flight. The woman at the desk was extremely unfriendly and acted like we bothered her private internet time. There was an issue with a credit card and she was quick to let us know how irritating this was to her. There was nothing nice or polite about this person whatsoever. She didn't even ask if we had any problems with our stay (we didn't until checkout time). Because of her - I doubt we will stay here again.

Great Hotel for the price, close to everything in Castle Rock

i was disapponted that it didn't have handicapp arangement we only had stairs and no elevator to get upstairs and I asked for King size bed and we were given a room with two standard beds on the second floor and we had to climed a set of stairs to get to it. and had to pay extra for this room. Won't use them again. Tom and Leona

the people who own it and work there so they took good care of you

Remember it is a low budget hotel, that being said it is a good place to stay

The room was very adequate and prices was much less than most motels in the area. We have stayed there many times and it's quite satisfactory, especially for the price. We will stay there again.

The 1st room stunk!Had to change rooms. Vending machine for drinks did not work. Needed vacumming!

Staff was awesome. The room was smallish, but very comfortable. I totally got my moneys worth. I will stay here again when I am in the area.

Overall, very acceptable

It was horrible. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. She gave us our room key and said she hoped nobody was already in the room. I told her I sure hoped not. When we went up to our room, we heard a television on inside. Sure enough, there was already somebody in the room. When we went down, she said she was afraid that would happen. When I said I was going to call Super 8 to complain, she said to call Hotels.com, not Super 8. The air conditioner barely worked and it was extremely hot. Horrible experience!

The only lights that worked in the room were the bathroom lights. The remote to the TV did not work. I would only recommend this place if you want to save on cash.

The people there were very friendly and the service there was great. It was easy to get to and had a good resource of restaurants within walking distant.

Nice roomy room and the best night sleep we have had in a Motel. Beds were very comfortable. Had a trouble finding the right Tv channels, they didn't match the list. Otherwise the stay was really comfortable and refreshing.

very old needs updates hall ways had leaves all over them and am lady was kind of rude.

Staff at front desk were friendly, and available at all times when needed. Highlights from our visit: breakfast runs from 6-9, but the lady at front desk left it out for us for 15 minutes longer when we arrived at 9. Our door keys stopped working, but front desk quickly provided us with functional ones. Housekeeping was courteous and respectful. Our room was non-smoking but smelled slightly of smoke. Shower heads were very low, but water flow was good. Room came with fridge and microwave, which was impressive. Hotel is only a minute away from historic downtown Castle Rock. Recommended!

Not a fancy place, but clean. The people there were nice to me. Knowing what it is and what it cost, I would stay there again.

I reserved this hotel for an employee of mine that was completing work in Colorado. His stay at this hotel was horrific, he woke up the following morning with bites all over his body...................... It is distrubring, to say the least, how filty and bug infested a mattress must be to have an occupant wake up the following morning with bites all over your body from head to toe. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, be very cautious as you get what you pay for.

We have stayed here before and it has always been clean, quiet and friendly.

Room had been recently remodeled and looked good with new furniture. It was clean and the bed wasn't too bad. Some of the reviews had me leery of the place, but I was agreeably surprised. Left in the mornings before the breakfast was set up, but there is a pancake house next door where you can get an early breakfast. Whoever remodeled the room left a piece of foam under the carpet that made an odd lump.

I wouldn't recommend Super 8 in Castle Rock. The bedding was very light and pillows not very comfortable. The check in area/food area was old and dilapidated-looking and very small, so I never wanted to take advantage of the continental breakfast when I normally would have had it seemed nicer. The people at the front desk were not very friendly. The maid missed my room one day and I was frustrated to return and see it still wasn't clean.

When in Castle Rock, Colorado staying at the Super 8 is an easy way to rest well and not throw money away on the extras others seem to think are worth so much more! Location is a reasonable drive to shopping and other ammenities are close by. Although it is not The Ritz it does come with a comparable value for the price. After all, don't you spend most of your time out and about?
