Super 8 Nixa Springfield Area - Nixa

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and will stay again without a doubt. Good Hotel great staff...It is what it is. but they dont put on airs either.

Good price, Close enough to Wilson's Creek Battlefield, which why we came to Springfield area. Comfy beds, clean rooms, friendly nite clerk. Breakfast only cereals and breads. Would have liked some fresh fruits or maybe some pastries. But we only needed some place to sleep and shower for one nite and it suited our purpose nicely!!

The price of our room was much cheaper than other motels in the area, this is probably the nicest thing I can say about it. When I booked our stay online the website said no refunds,no exceptions. This should have been a red flag. When we arrived at our room, it smelled of mildew and urine, the air conditioner was not turned on and it was about 80 degrees in our room. A chair next to the window was soaking wet for no apparent reason. The light in the bathroom would only come on if I removed the cover and turned the light bulb.I would not stay here again.

The room had food on the floor, the sheets had stains on them,when we awoke the next morning we had ants on our items that were layed out on the table. It really give us a unclean feeling.We reported this to the house cleaning personnel and they sprayed for the ants.This is not a place I would recommend to others.

This was one of the worse hotels I stayed in on a 15 day trip. I was given a smoking room after requesting a non-smoking one. The smoke smell was so bad that I became sick to my stomach. The continental breakfast was horrible. They were out of OJ, we tried to find someone to replace it but was unable to. When the hotel phone rang we discovered the desk clerk was the one sitting on the sofa watching TV. After we told him he said he would change it, but 20 min later there was still no OJ.

Due to a reservations snafu, we had slim pickings for our stay in the area. The Super 8 Nixa had a location we needed and was a place to lay our heads. Pool was adequate. Food on floor of room. Previous occupant's towel was still hanging on back of bathroom door. Continental breakfast has coffees, mini muffins, and coffee. In essence, we had a safe place to sleep which is what we needed.

very happy with the motel

The biggest downside to the hotel stay was when entering the side doors there was an odor. The other item was the seasonal pool was only open until 9 pm....we expected that it would be open until 10.

Found the stay clean, and comfortable for the price range. Especially enjoyed the quiet nature of the location.
