לא רע, אבל כששדרגנו לחדר עם נוף לאוקיאנוס ציפינו ליותר

בשביל המחיר שאנחנו קיבלנו, The New Cassablanca on the Ocean היה דיל מצוין. כשמחשבים את כל ההיבטים החיוביות של המלון, הוא בהחלט שווה את השהיה שלנו. המלון היה מרווח ומזמין, החדר היה נקי מאוד עם שירותים רבים, הבריכה המחוממת הייתה מעולה, והייתה גישה ישירה לאוקיאנוס. היינו מאוכזבים מעט מהמחיר בבר והעובדה שלא היה Happy Hour. אבל האכזבה הגדולה ביותר הייתה המחסור בחניה. אפילו עם שירות חניה, זה היה דיי לא נוח. אז ברגע שחנינו את הרכב, פשוט הלכנו בשארית השהות שלנו. אם אנחנו נשאר פה שוב, זה יהיה עדיף לקחת מוניות.

הייתי נשאר כאן שוב. החדר היה נקי. אין תלונות!

מתוחזק ברמה ירודה. מקלחות מלוכלכות. חלונות מאובקים.. שולחן הקבלה היה חצופים. ארוחת בוקר קונטיננטלית איומה, איכות ירודה ומבחר מצומצם בתפריט.

מלון Cassablanca המפורסם זנח את השפע שלו לפני זמן רב. אנחנו נשארנו באחד ה "פנטהאוזים" עם ה"נוף לאוקיאנוס". נקודה חיובית הייתה הצוות הידידותי והעובדה שהמקום שלקחנו היה מאוד מרווח. אבל, היו המון צדדים שליליים: אחרי שנרשמנו, מצאנו מישהו זר עושה כביסה בחדר שלנו. היה לו מפתח לחדר והוא עזב בלי לתת הסבר. גם להנהלה לא היה הסבר והיא החליטה להחליף מנעול על הדלתות. בחדר היה מטבח מצויד בגורס אשפה שבור ומסריח וג'וקים כלולים במחיר. החדר עצמו מאוד מרווח אבל לא אטרקטיבי הכל ישן וזקוק לתחזוקה דחופה. היה פטיו... ללא ריהוט מתאים. לא היה אינטרנט אלחוטי פעיל בחדרים. יש בר למטה, שהבן אדם היחידי בו זה הברמן. בנוגע לארוחת הבוקר שניתנת חינם ע"י המלון... עדיף לך לבשל משהו בעצמך במטבח המלוכלך. לסיכום המלון Cassablanca מלוכלך ונראה ישן, והצוות, למרות שהם נחמדים, לא ממש אכפת להם משום דבר. חדר ב Motel 8 היה שדרוג לעומת זה.

נשארנו רק לילה אחד, מיטה כפולה נראתה קטנה ל 2 אנשים. מיקום מצוין על החוף, קרוב לכל אזורי הקניות ולחוף הדרומי.

החדרים מאוד דחוסים ואנשי השירות לא מבינים אנגלית אז זה קשה לבקש עזרה כלשהי.

החלק הטוב, ממש על החוף, חדר נקי, מחיר טוב בשביל מה שמקבלים. החלק הרע, אפשר לשמוע כל מה שקורה בחדרים מעל ומהצדדים, אין פרטיות הייתי צריך להתקשר בשביל שיעצרו את המהומה בחדר מעלינו. יש שירות חניה אז צריך לחכות כל פעם שיוציאו את הרכב והמכוניות מצטברות בכניסה ממש כאב ראש היה עדיף כבר ללכת למגרש חניה. רחוק מהחוף הדרומי ומאיזורי הפעילות. המיטה הייתה רכה אבל שוקעת באמצע. מיטה קטנה. החדר ישן צריך חידוש אין חתיכת סבון בחדר, יש מתקן על הקיר עם סבון נוזלי. ארוחת בוקר קונטיננטלית הייתה בסדר זה טוב אם רוצים להישאר על החוף במקום עם גישה, אני לא אתארח שוב יש יותר מידי מלונות במיקום טוב יותר וחדרים טובים יותר בקצת יותר כסף.

זה היה בסדר לתקופה שטיילתי, המחיר והמיקום היו הוגנים.

כל מה שבחדרים, במעליות ובלובי נושא סימנים של מאמץ חלקי לשדרוג, אם לא פשוט הזנחה. חדרים מסריחים, אסלות דולפות, כספת מתפקדת לסירוגין. הם מרחו צבע חדש על הקירות (הקבלן לא הכיר טכנולוגיה חדישה כמו סרט הדבקה) אבל חדרי האמבטיה, הארונות והכניסה נראו כמו משנות החמישים. חדר ארוחת הבוקר קודר, אם להתבטא בנימוס. בסך הכול, אפילו לא קרוב למה שאפשר לקרוא אווירת נופש. בשבוע של כריסמס חדר עם נוף לחנות 24/7 עלה כמו מלון פאר בהוואי. היזהרו.

It is an old hotel in need of a complete renovation.

Basic hotel for good price in great location. Only complaint is that it lacked some basic amenities like a pen in the room or a directory of hotel and area information, most of which you find in the cheapest hotels.

Very convenient for the North end of the beach. Very quiet from tourists as we were doing a short 2 night stay to visit relatives

Although I was booked into 'The New Casablanca on the Ocean' (which is actually just called the Casablanca), I was moved to another nearby hotel 'Sixty Sixty' due to 'emergency repairs'. The other hotel was ok, but not 'on the ocean'. A free breakfast was added, but I would have preferred to be in the main hotel. I wonder how often this happens.

1. Parking: you can use public parking which is located 1 block away from hotel (1 $/1hr, free from 6 pm to 8 am) or valeting parking (17 $ for public parking pay time). 2. Front service: not pleasant 3. Room service: 1 hr delay to get new towels. And towels are not fully dried. 4. Location: convenient, private beach access, 7/11 just across street. 5. Hotel rooms: old, not good maintenance, there are some rooms for tenants, not hotel guests.

I liked how the hotel had direct beach access and we did have a nice room, it was in a great area. The hotel is in need of some renovations and upkeep. Our ceiling was cracked and had paint patches all over it. Our toilet got plugged and it took over 30 min for someone to come fix it after I had to call twice and then no one came to even clean up the bathroom so we had towels all over the floor. If this place got fixed up, it would be a lot nicer.

We stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights from the 29th Dec 2012 to the 2nd Jan 2013. Our room was on the 4th floor and we had a balcony, which was nice. The room was run down, and the carpets were dirty. The sliding door to the balcony didn't lock. The kitchen and bathroom needs upgrading. Across the hallway there were smoking rooms, so every time we opened our door our room smelled of smoke. We had a non smoking room. Every morning we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and the order got messed up every time! The internet did not work, and we couldn't get phone service in the hotel. Only 1 lift was working out of 3 on the day we checked out! The location of this Hotel was great, and the beach was lovely! We wouldn't stay at this Hotel again!

It is good place with good price. Beach access and swimming pool.

Hotel was ok, restorant service horrible no wonder is always empty, reception employes will make u stand and wait while they enjoy a rather long personal call, happened more than once, maintnance employee very friendly and helpful

During our trip in Florida we stayed at 3 different hotels (2 in Miami, 1 in Orlando). We had the highest expectations to Casablanca, because of the description, price, pictures etc.. The room had a really nice view to the beach, no finger to put on that!! The room was though really used and old, nothing at all as we expected. The location didn't reached our expections either. Without knowing anything about Miami, we figured out that the location on Collins Ave might be a great location, but to get to south beach, were everything happens, we had to take a bus for 15-20 min each way (at least we could take a bus 3 min away from the hotel for $2). The staff were helpful with etc the busses. I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again, maybe if I'm coming back with a future family I would stay here, but while I'm still young and/or travelling with friends I would choose a better location (south beach!).

Very nice room with two double beds, a full kitchen including an oven and a huge wardrobe. Our room had a great view of both the pool and the ocean. Right on the beach which is great. Enthusiastic staff. Clean rooms. Only downsides were that there was some maintenance going on although not very early in the morning and that parking was a little expensive but that's to be expected in Miami beach!

Friendly staff, but did not allow early checkin. The hotel is under renovation, so the drills and hammers start early in the morning. Don't expect to sleep in. Had a nice water view, but the hotel is very dated.

Most of the pictures are very misleading. In particular the bathroom. I was very horrified with my bathroom and our friends was just as bad. Very gross, in much need of updating.The kitchen did not provide a coffee pot or toaster had to ask the front desk for one (which they promptly provided) The rooms are clean but also very much in need of upgrading. Unfortunatly because of this they give the overall feeling of being dirty. I would never pay the full rate for this hotel but the sale rate is worth it. The lobby is beautiful. The pool and beach are fantastic and and make it worthwhile. The staff were helpful and nice. Restaurant had good food. My room had a balcony that was literally on the roof and was disgusting full of garbage and filth and connected to other balconies. I did not feel too safe. My balcony and sliding door appeared to of never been cleaned. The door was rickety and I had to struggle to open it. It seems that some of the rooms are rented long term as condos I think. There was one broken chair on my balcony and no table. I would of enjoyed my stay a lot more if the rooftop had been cleaned as it was a shame to have a beautiful view of the ocean and have to look over the filth on my balcony and the roof. We felt very safe on the beach, even after dark. The hotel had security on site. The area doesnt have a lot of shopping and few restaurants. We found a gem of a little cafe across the street.

More than one person at desk at all times would be nice

Wasn't allowed to take coffee from not free continental breakfast, in our own coffee cups. Advertised continental breakfast doesn't mention charge or that every item must be consumed within diningroom.

Carpet very dirty, Staff service was very good, amenities okayadditiinal parking fee if 17.50 per day plus tax.. Long waiting time to get vehicle from parking garage

The hotel was very neat, clean and quiet. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.. The staff very helpful and pleasant.

Hotel is clean and quiet. But asked the cost of breakfast.

The beds were great! But the restaurant staff that was in the hotel was rude. The staff of the hotel was ok..great location on the beach..

The location of this hotel is great - right on beautiful Miami Beach and the pool was very nice. The staff was accommodating and friendly but this hotel is in desperate need of updating. We were upgraded to a suite which was a pleasant surprise but the suite was pretty tired. It was amazingly spacious but the couches looked like something you might pick up off the side of the road. The roof top (10th floor) patio associated with the suite was pretty awesome - huge with excellent views. If you are looking for this location, you can get it here for a decent price if you don't mind outdated, tired decor.

The hotel room, bathroom are all dusty, old. The ventilation system has not been cleaned for a long time, it blows dust and dirt all over which can be seen everywhere in the room and bathroom posing great health hazard. The breakfast, which is included in the room price is unacceptable with even minimum standard. Unprofessional, unpolite staff. The webpage and the description from the hotel are misleading.

The rooms were old, looked like they have converted apartments into hotel rooms. There were plenty of kitchen stuff like plates, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, etc. Also, it is close to beach. They did not have any parking left when we reached so we had to park in a nearby public parking which was not free. The parking person asked us to park in front of the hotel and they called and knocked the door at 12:30AM in the night to tell us you cannot park here. There was NO PARKING ANYTIME board and 2 cars were parked in front of it and they distrubed our sleep and asked us to move our car. Poor service!

We booked the hotel online for 3 nights with a baby with us. We checked in late night and found the beds being ages old, the spings were squakingly disturing and felt like we were playing jumping jack all night. TV was old fashioned CRT with horrible resolution. But the next morning when we requested front desk they were able to move us into a remodelled room with kind bed. This was the room that was similar to one shown online. Much cleanier and better bed. Location is close to the beach, 7-11 opposite to the road. That helped to get some stuff easily. I would say the hotel is away from South Beach where all the fun is, but we knew that in advance and also were aware that they charge $17 extra per day for parking. So overall, I would say its a good deal for the price provided you get the REMODELED room. Also check for prices on the last day. I had to pay more to hotels dot com because I booked in advance and they would not price match b/c I had already checked in before calling them.
