The hotel needs to hire a handyman to maintain minor items around the hotel. None of the self closing room doors closed fast enough to actually latch the door shut. Many guests had to turn around and pull their doors shut so they latched. Door handles in the bathroom were loose and will soon fall out. The shower head was caked with calcium build up and sprayed water all over the place and the flow was very weak. The pillows were so flat that you had to fold them in half to get a normal thickness of pillow. Carpets were stained and the exterior of the hotel needs to be repainted.

I booked this as a halfway overnight stay for a getaway trip. When we got in the room, my fiancé found dried blood drops on the bathroom floor, she took pictures of it. The handle on the room fridge was filthy and there appeared to be a couple of spots of dried blood on the walls. There was a wall outlet not mounted to the wall and hanging by the wiring. The complimentary breakfast was prepackaged cinnamon rolls, two plastic dispensers of cereal, juice and coffee. I expected at least a little more for breakfast.

the toilet run the entire 2 days we were there,the bathroom was not clean the beds and pillows were covered with plastic which was very uncomfortable

Was not satisfied at all. Moved the next day to another motel which was clean.

This was just a stopover for us (2 ppl + 1 baby). The room was really clean but I was a bit disappointed that there was no shampoo or body wash samples to use to wash up. The service was okay. We tried ordering pizza but there was a two hour wait time for delivery service. The continental breakfast was not the greatest. The coffee needs to be better but I guess you can't expect 5 star coffee at this hotel. I wouldn't recommend laying any babies on the bedding they provide. My 3 month old broke out in a rash. She's never reacted to anything before this trip. I assumed it was the detergent they used to wash the bedding. Overall stay was medeoker.

Hotel needs updates, does not have enough plugs in the room. Mold in the bathroom. Horrible beds, pillows had plastic covers on them and caused your head to sweat badly. No closet, no iron, bad continental breakfast. WOULD NOT STAY IN THIS MOTEL AGAIN!

we loved staying there we needed a mini vacation the only thing we didnt like is we left our pillows and pillow cases up there by an accident. We called up there and they informed us that they threw them away. It wasnt even an hour after we signed out of there when we called. The pillows were enspensive and i feel that they need to replace out pillows. We had just gotten them for christmas.

we were very unhappy with the heater because it made noises so we had to turn it off and were cold. There was no shampoo, and the mattresses were very noisey because of the plastic and uncomfortable. Every time another customer would shut thier door it sounded like they were being slammed. We were very happy with the pool area and the night shift employee, he was very nice and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection. We enjoy this area because it is our halfway stop between family and home.

We have stayed here several times. The staff is always very polite and helpful. We really enjoy staying here. Sometimes we make weekend trips just to stay in a hotel and this is where we come.

I booked a smoking room because my husband still smokes and was fully expecting the room to smell like an ashtray, but was most wonderfully surprised to find no smell at all.

The room and hotel was not the worst place I've ever stayed at, but it was not a very clean place and the continental breakfast was limited to bread, bear claws or frozen waffles with room for only 8 people to sit. The area was a bit rough and you had a great view of waffle house and their employees constantly smoking outside.

This hotel is becoming run down and needs considerable updating and care. Non-smoking but smells smokey. Smells musty. Lobby is nice.

Employees very nice, needs improvement in beds and pillows

Room was okay but the A/C was really cold and hard to adjust. Room was okay old but clean.

the room was clean, the staff was very curtious,, however the bed was uncomfortable, the chiar in the room was broken and the contiental breakfast was unsatisfying.

the toilet in our room did not work very well.

i only have one complaint i dont know if it was hotels.com or the staff but i paid for a queen smoking and got a full nonsmoking that sucked but the people was so nice i didnt say anything to them

Rubber pillows and dark stain on pillow case is just not acceptable and the mattress was not comfortable at all...also had to pay in advance

Our Non-smoking room seemed to smell more like an old smoking room, also, the heating unit did not work on auto. Otherwise, the people are very friendly and effecient and the Hotel is well located.

It was a very nice, well maintained hotel and an excellent price.

Overall very good service- inexpensive- Waffel House right next door - only had one problem with the toliet and they addressed it-

we had a nice stay at this motel. the front desk staff was awesome, the room was of good size, the air conditionar however, needed to repair, you could not change the temp of the room, so we were hot all night long. the pool area, the signs need to be changed, one says it opens at 9, the other at 10, then there is one that gives 2 differant age groups of when they can swim with out a parent. the signs needs to be the same not all differant in the pool area, confusing. The housekeeping superivisor, i ran into in the hallway, very very rude. otherwise a nice stay

We stayed for two night and it was better than we expected by the reviews. The rooms were clean, but did not have enough plug ins. The min-fridge was not plugged in so you couldn't put anything cold in there but we rearranged the room a bit and were happy. Beds were a little too hard and pillows were so thin they were almost non existent. Next time we will be bringing our own pillows. Overall not the worse hotel ever but a good deal for the price.

I was surprised to walk into a Super 8 and get serviced like I did. The people were extra nice and friendly. The pool was clean. The bed was in heaven to sleep on.

room was dirty. Had not been vacuumed in a while. Lots of dust non carpet against wall and behind chair. Full size bed wen it was supposed to be queen

I was very impressed with the over all stay! Every things was clean and nice. The indoor pool was perfect! We will return the next time we are in town! Oh yea, there was a plastic matress covering on the mattress to prevent spills from ruining it and I suppose to prevent the speed of bugs-I really appreciate that feature!!!

We arrived very late at night. We originally booked a room with 2 queen beds, but ended up with a room only containing a single queen bed (since it was so late, we just stayed). The next morning I asked to be moved, and they were extremely accommodating. However, we then ended up in a "no smoking room" that had clearly been recently smoked in (the previous occupants were even nice enough to leave the window open to air it out!). When I informed the manager (I didn't request a new room, since he had just moved us), the cleaning staff came in and cleaned again and sprayed some air freshener. The manager did tell us if we'd like another room, we could move but it wasn't worth the bother for us. The hotel is very old, but they clearly try to keep it up. It wasn't the hotel or the staff, as they were more than accommodating, just the lack of respect by the smoking guests in the non-smoking room. Having a small child and asthma, it was irritating that someone would be so inconsiderate (especially since it isn't a huge hike to just walk a few feet down the hall and step outside).

If you want a dependable room for the price...this is ur cup of tea. The customer service staff great especially Sarah!

We spent two nights here and didn't have any problems during our stay. The hotel was decent and clean.

Hotel was recently remodeled. Room was reasonably clean. We had to move the microwave in order for the cord to reach an outlet. Our key cards stopped working. I made a quick trip to the front desk and they quickly corrected the problem. When we walked in, housekeeping had cleaned our rooms well, and even made a comfy bed for my son's stuffed dog he sleeps with. This was a nice extra, making me feel like they really cared about our satisfaction. The pool was a little dirty around the edge, but okay. Overall, satisfied with our stay. For the price, it wasn't bad. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. No elevators, only stairs to the second floor. It's not a four-star hotel by any means, but worth the price. I would stay here again.

Manager was rude as could be...Clerk wanted to borrow a cigarette...to much clorine in the water...the pool had grime around the edge....Room smelled really bad...beds were dirty....the carpet in the room was dirty so dirty that my 2year olds feet were black as could be after running around in the room...the rate was cheap but next time i will pay the extra for a clean room and good service...when breakfast rolled around they closed it down at exactly 10am and wouldnt allow anyone anything after that time...they yelled at my kids to get out of the pool and was very mean to my kids...

It was just ok. Not happy that the pool does not open till 10 am. Kids could not go with check out at 11pm. Also check in was 1pm and the room was not clean. So we had to just go to our event and check in at night.

I am yet to stay at a lousier Super 8 than this location. Knobs are missing in the furniture and there was left over food in the kitchen from previous guest. I chose the place because it was conveniently located very close to where I had business.

Family stay here for 1 night, extended to 3. Large rooms, slightly musty, unimpressive breakfast but to be expected for the price. Good value.

This was my worst experience in hotels and motels combined. The room above ours made so much noise like running and jumping. They were loud till 11pm and would wake us up at 6am with their jumping and running. We called numerous times and complained. The hotel wouldn't do anything. We did not have to endure that for just one night, but for two nights! They would not give us a different room or move the people above us. The manager at the hotel barely spoke English, but the other workers still wouldn't do anything to help our situation. The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. The carpet outside of the bathroom and in front of the main door was soaked with water. Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke. They only had two pillows on each bed instead of four. They did not have a DVD player in the room. Our microwave also didn't work. There are other hotels and motels in the area, so do not pick this one.

FOR ME IT WAS A VERY BUSY WEEK AT THIS HOTEL, CHECK IN WAS FAST, MY ROOM WAS READY, EVERYTHING I NEEDED WAS THERE. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL WAS ALL OF MY NEEDS, REGARDLESS OF THE TIME. I WAS THERE ON BUSINESS. THE HOTEL IS QUIET, ON 2 FLOORS, NO ELEVATOR, FOR THE PRICE I PAID IT WAS AN A PLUS ALL THE WAY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE A BUDGET OR ARE GOING TO OUT MOST OF THE TIME. THE BEDS WERE REALLY GOOD AND HOT WATER REGARDLESS OF THE TIME.

I made the mistake of requesting a smoking room, and there was a slight odor. The toilet seat was broken. Beds were comfortable, although I did find one bug of some kind, not sure what on the sheet when I pulled back the comforter. It was dead, didn't see any others. i am hoping not bed bugs. I imagine I will know in a week or 2. We were staying for the Kentucky Derby, so the location was good and an easy drive to Louisville. Waffle House next door and we ate BBQ at a really good restaurant, as well. All in all we enjoyed our stay here.

we stayed two nights..on the way up and back. The first bed and pillows were not as comfortable as the second but I should have asked for different pillows. We like kinda flat ones and these were really fluffy. Just a personal preference. The night clerk was the same both nights and he was very helpful. He even changed the rooms to be downstairs to help my parents. The pool was clean and the kids enjoyed it! there is any kind of restaurant you could ask for near by. And to top it all off...we got the rooms on sale!!! It was just perfect for our needs...a place to sleep and hit the road in the morning. If I am ever there again...we will stay again!

My stay there was very nice. It is just down the street from nice restaurants and right next to the highway. The breakfast was rather limited, and the halls smelled a bit smokey. But, I also wasn't expecting anything amazing either.
