Ramada Mission Valley - SDSU - סן דייגו

It was enoyable and very good. Almost all attractions have been convieniently visited.

You get for what you pay for.. It was a very comfortable stay. The continental breakfast was great and i would stay here again and again.

The only draw back was our pillows smelled of smoke

Stayed for four days with my family (4 people). Close to freeway but not too noisy (stayed at first floor). Easy to get to attractions. Breakfast better than most motels. Friendly staff. Needed more towels, getting more wasn't a problem. Free parking (close to room), free internet. Out door pool but no spa. Clean & Great value. Payed $55 a night. I would have had to pay more for parking, Internet, and breakfast alone for the four of us, if we had stayed at a hotel.

The possitives are that it was very close to the highway so it was easy to get places,it also was right across the street from Chilis and starbucks.the continental breakfast was okay.and staff was friendly.now negatives:the room was disgusting,smelled of musk as soon as you walked in.smeared melted chocolate under bed,along with garbage in droors.bathroom floor was filthy,dust and dirt in all the edges,shower curtain was filrthy,shower mat was full of mildew.we have two babies that we didn't even want to bath in there.air conditioner was extremly out dated and very weak.tv was blurry and only received a handful of chanels.deffinetly would not reccomend this one for anyone with small children or babies!!

Things were good overall. It seemed thinly staffed for a holiday weekend and they mistakenly did not clean our room one day. We called down to the front desk around 6:30pm and there was only one person working. He did bring the towels as asked and the next day the room was cleaned very well.

my stay was nice breakfast would be xlenent if we could of had bacon or sausage. also I did not know that upon arrival I would becharged $30.00 more dollars.for damages and I was already had payed when I made my resvervation.but I am supposed to get it back.on 04/01/13hopefully it was placed back on my ccard. other then that I really enjoyed my stay

No Jacuzzi was a downer.

I put a call into the office to be called at 7:00 a.m. and they never called me. I had a freind call me just in case. My friend came through and called me or I would have been late for my appointment. If I can not rely on a wake up call then I will find a motel that will be responsible.

It was a chill location. We had a great overall time in San Diego & at the Ramada.

Our stay at the Eldorado was very nice. The transit was quite close by making getting around very easy. The breakfast was good and tasty and was quite adequate. The staff were so helpful and answered our many questions from where to eat and places to shop, to how we get around to some places. They were just so helpful and always had a smile for us. There was a young lady called Carmen and there was another young lady (but didn't catch her name) but each of these girls deserve kudos for their friendly service. The only thing that was a bit comical is that the hot tub they advertised was drained and cemented over. However we never used it for the first few days and the one night we did decide to use it , we looked and it was empty. When we returned the next day , it was to discover the hot tub had been cemented over. To be honest, it was a lil cool out and the fact that it wasn't there to use anymore, was no harm done. Our days were so full and a hot bath did the trick just as well. To us the main thing was , the bed was comfortable, the pillows fat and fluffy, the room was clean and the service was top notch.

Room was dirty and had a toe nail on the ground from a past guest. There were stains on the blankets and the room was in horrid condition.....sad condition for a Ramada.

Everything was great only thing is the parking it's a small space too close to both sides of cars..

great location- about 10mins drive to seaworld/zoo. comfy safe stay

I specifically called a day prior to reserve a ground floor room with a microwave and fridge but was told one was not available when I arrived. Continental breakfast and housekeeping were great.

The first thing we noticed was wet used wash cloths still in the bathroom, unacceptable. The room was not kept up, tables have carvings in them and appliances were old and dented up. Bed was very uncomfortable and the neighborhood is very loud (couldnt sleep until the bar next doors band stopped playing at 2am, now i like music but i souldnt have to hear it in my room at a hotel)

I booked a non-smoking room at this hotel. When I got to the room the second I stepped in I was overwhelmed by the stale smoke smell that was saturated into the bed, curtains, carpet, everything! My allergies were acting up so bad I only slept for 4 hours the entire night. Oh and I didn't dare sleep in the bed, I went to target and baught a beach towel and slept on top of the blankets because everything was so dusty and the bed wasn't properly cleaned and smelled gross. The microwave in the room.... Someone previously had possibly melted and burned plastic in it so it smelled disgusting! The parking was also horrible but I guess there was some event going on but whatever; overall it was a horrible experience.

It was okay for the price. Didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted somewhere clean. The room decor is a little dated and could use a pick me up along with the bathroom amenities. The bathroom needed more attention when cleaning as well. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and overall it was a good value and enjoyable stay.

When booking this hotel I was looking for the cheapest hotel within 30 minutes of SDSU. With that in mind, I was satisfied with my stay. My room seemed old but it was in relatively good shape and as clean as most hotels I've been to. There isn't much around the hotel itself but it's near the Green Line with easy access to the city, but a bit far if you're hoping to see the theme parks. If you need a hotel in the Mission Valley/Grantville area and budget is your concern then this is a decent choice.

it was ideal for what it was used for, a friend would have been homeless for the week if it weren't for this hotel stay.

Well worth the price. The staff was very nice. Everything was clean. The WiFi connection was somewhat difficult, but manageable. We would definitely stay here again. Having a breakfast at the hotel was very convenient too. We even had a frig and micro in the room that we didn't know would be there.

IT was what was to be expected for the price.

We couldnt have chosen a better place t stay to catch the football game at the stadium. It was amazing. The bathroom was huge and the beds very comfortable. It was also a lovely suprise to find that we also had a good size fridge and a microwave. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here!

Stayed at this location to attend an event at Qualcolm Stadium. We arrived late and the young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, we had no problem checking in. We did have a room in the back of the hotel which faced an empty lot and appeared a bit shady but didn't become an issue. The hotel is right off the freeway so if you are particularly sensitive about noise this may not be the hotel for you. The room was small but clean and we had a small fridge and microwave which was nice. The hotel was walking distance to the trolley station which was very convenient. We were able to go Qualcolm, Gaslamp, and downtown on the trolley without having to deal with traffic or parking getting there. Overall, a good bang for your buck. The hotel was clean and conveniently located.

This place is by a train track, you can hear the train going by at least 2-3 times at night. Tried to iron clothes ironing board was burnt full of holes unable to iron clothes requested for another one, they brought me another one with burn marks and fewer holes. They still use old tube style tv, with no premium channels as they advertise. I will never stay at a ramada in ever and would suggest other people not to either.

The room is clean with lots of space.

Location is a little hard to get to. Overall comfortable. Closed curtains stop air from heating/cooling unit from circulating in room. Front desk people helpful.

This hotel is located right off the highway so it was a convenient stop for the night. This hotel looked like a motel bought out by Ramada. The room looked clean but the furniture and fixtures were dated so it had a dirty, partly uncomfortable feel. The room had a refrigerator, but not a microwave. They did serve a light continental breakfast in the morning.

The beds were pretty comfy, room was clean, no complaints.

Great stay.

Staff was put off by the simplest of requests when they could be found. Room is certainly nothing special & its sole convenience is access to the monorail. I'll stay in the Hotel District from now on.
