good 2-bedroom apartments, excellent for big groups. not ideally located, but since Key West is small was not bad to drive to downtown

This was the second time we stayed at sunrise suites resort both times with another couple. The place was just perfect for a overnight stay with friends.

We had a problem with our rooms and they ended up canceling them without or permission. We had 12 guests staying in one room because the hotel sold our other room in a matter of 5 minutes. Desk person at the hotel had no clue what she was doing and was very rude.

It was a great place to stay. The only draw back was that they closed the pool at 8 PM every night.

Great amenities, quality service for the price!

This was a nice clean place to stay and I would stay there again. The staff was wonderful. The only thing that could have been better was a bigger sign stating where the hotel lobby is. We drove by it two times. Thanks.

The hotel is adequate, but everything in it is old and needs replacing. It is very near the airport and you will hear the airplanes in and out all day. That said, it was ok for the price in prime time. Front desk was responsive and dealt with some of our maintenance issues, but others will take longer. Makes me wonder why housekeeping didn't notice the broken sliding screen door, broken toilet handle, damaged faucet in the kitchen. The pool was nice as was the hot tub, though both were small. The facility was rather far from Duval Street compared to most places, but was still just a few minutes from the madness. I wouldn't stay there again.

I would stay there again. The price for the quality was very good.

The unit we stayed in was just fine. The furniture was a little dated and worn, but acceptable. Basically clean. Good location. Was perfect for our needs. We all felt safe and comfortable.

DIDN'T SPEND TOO MUCH IN THE SUITE, ONLY SLEPT 2 NIGHTS. ACCOMODATION IS OK FOR THE COST PER NIGHT.

Perfect set up for us and our friends with the two bedroom, two bath condo. However without a car we had to use taxis to go to anywhere. Still, it was just fine.

Elevators reeked. Room dirty. Furniture old. Strong smell of disinfectant in room. Wifi very weak. Lobby closed and locked up at 8:00 pm,doesn't open until 9:00am. Price was relatively cheap, but really not worth the savings. Stay somewhere else!!

Great place for good price.

Dirty room covered up with sickingly strong cleaner smell. Old and in need of remodeling.

Room very out dated furniture in bad condition very hard beds bathroom tub l scratched up and one shower head was rusted. Would not recommend this hotel

We arrived after the check in time (4:00-8:00), so reception was closed and it took us almost an hour to find the office because there are 4 resorts in the complex. Once we found the office and the keys taped to the door, it took us another 15 minutes to find our room. The room was accommodating but needed updating - outdated furniture and broken patio table top. Kitchen was very clean and convenient. This complex is at the opposite end of Duval Street, so you need to drive or rent bikes. It's what I expected for the price. The pool was green but the landscaping was well maintained. They are pet friendly, so I would recommend again.

The facility was OK, not great but not bad. Our room was worn across the board. Little things like drain plugs not there, TVs that did not work properly, and a fold away bed that was not usable. However none of these were show stoppers since we did not spend that much time there anyway. If we had planned to spend significant time in the room, it would not have been satisfactory. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facility is simply dated.

condo rental - not a hotel stay. very clean and comfortable. full kitchen with a little coffee packet to use in the coffee maker each morning. great location if you want to be away from the bustle of old town when it's time to wind down.

One Con. WIFI was so weak we couldn't use it. Everything else was great!

The stay was very nice, I would recommend Sunsrise Suites.

We recently stayed for an overnight visit to Key West. We were traveling with another couple and decided to seek a two bedroom suite. The location was away from the downtown area but a quick 5 minute drive. The first impression of the property was that it was in a nice area, even the outside of the building looked nice. It didn't take long to realize that the inside of the property was poorly maintained. Walls were painted with different paints, baseboards were not cleaned, kitchen microwave and stove were greasy. The furniture was so old and outdated that we even hated to sit on it. The whole place just felt "dirty". It is too bad because it was nice to have a larger unit ( 2 bedrooms, 2 baths) but it was poorly maintained.

No one at desk after 7 PM to assist with problems. At 2 AM when the floor around the toilet was wet - no one to assit with the problem. Reported it the next morning- they sent someone in to repair- he left the garbage all over plus the dirty towels he used to dry the area. No one around at 9:30 PM when all four room keys did not open our suite door and both emergengcy numbers said to call back between business hours of 7 to 7. Antique finish on furniture was a build up of dirt , more than furniture stain.

Very nice unit with whatever you could want.

We booked this trip the day before and were happy to find something in our budget, it was the cheapest price out of all the hotels available for that weekend. The only thing it was a bit far from attractions so we had to drive out to downtown, etc everytime...no shuttle service. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and clean, looked like a condo with 2 separate bedrooms and baths!

after having fun on duval st. nothing better than the quietness at this hotel. small property in a very nice location. the staff was very polite and helpfull. everything very clean. i would go back for sure. two suites, kitchens living room & balcony. perfect

The rooms were a good size 2 rooms 2 bathrooms all items needed in bathroom and kitchen. We slept 6 comfortably. Location was great! More than I expected for the price. Highly recommend if u are going in a group. Cheaper than renting 2 separate rooms anywhere in the keys!

Hotel was not easy to find. Suit was nice had two good size bedrooms with own bathrooms. kitchen and Livingroom was nice too. Had a balcony with table and chairs. Bed was very bad hard, you can hear all your neighbors! the pool was full so we never got to use it. There was a fight outside of room that woke us all up! Room was over priced and to far away from duval street. We will stay closer next time in one of the private cottages we was.

I enjoyed my stay since everything was clean and comfortable, even the swimming pool and surrounding areas. The most important thing to me ia that it was quiet, I'm a nurse and love my quiet time. Thank you.

While not next to the beach, conveniently located to all key places at Key West.

Great place for my brother, his wife, myself and my wife. Nice well stocked full kitchen. The beds were good, pool was nice and the shop wasn't insanely over priced. It's a good place to hang your hat while you sleep. It wasn't nice enough to be one of those places you could spend the majority of your time at. Our wives were "just okay" with the cleanliness of the room, my brother and I had no complaints. My wife noticed a hint of smoke in the unit like it was a smoking unit years ago. The balcony was awesome even though the door wouldn't shut all the way, I spent an hour out there every night. The phone didn't work but since we all had cell phones I didn't even bother to tell them. For the price I'd stay here again.

We had a very good time , I recomend Sunrise Suite 100%,we enjoy our vacation to the maximun

Hotels are just so expensive down in Key West, I think this is probably the best deal you can get down there. It's not very new, but still keep in a good condition. It's also close to other sight seeing locations.

I was a little leary to book here after reading some of the other reviews, however, they were all older and the newer reviews were quite positive. Maybe I just had a bad room, but I wont stay here again. I had a two bedroom, two bath condo. Wasnt top of the line, but suited what I needed for the weekend. However, starting on day one, started finding roaches...Some of the paint on the walls was rubbed off, where it looked as if furniture had once rubbed against it, and they reorganized without repainting. There was mold in the bathrooms. Very little dishes, and the kitchen was not very well equipped. It didnt even have a cookie sheet. If you're looking for a "cheap" place to stay with a kitchen, this does it. Maybe I just got a bad condo, but like I said, Im not going back there again. Ill go pay double at one of the nice hotels...

6 miles away from the main street, close to the airport (some noise associated with this fact but nothing that could really keep you awake at night). Feels more like a condo than a hotel which gives you lots of privacy. Nearest restaurant is in the Double Tree hotel which is a walking distance; there is a little grocery store in the area but it is crazy overpriced and poorly stocked. Overall good quality for the money but you must keep in mind that you will need to splurge on taxi to get around!
