Hotel is very old. Desk clerk changed our room after complaints about smoke smell. He did not change the computer and at 2:45AM, someone tried to enter our room, thinking it was empty. They banged on the door, keep trying the door lever and making a lot of noise. I called the desk clerk and he said that no one was checked into my room. I told him we had been moved. He apologized and stopped the people outside. Luckily the door had been updated and had the metal security lever and a privacy lock. Otherwise, these people could have entered our room.

Provided everything we needed. Not luxurious, but very comfortable.

The room and bed were nice and clean. The bathroom could have used an update. The breakfast was not that great.

This was not a great stay. The room was OK but did not have microwave or frig. The room sloped to the center like the floor was going to collapse. Room remodel was decent but could not cover the over all condition. No coffee for the rooms (out of coffer the whole time we were there), a basic service in any hotel. Outside doors that gave access to the 2nd floor lobby area were never open (sign said only locked after 9 PM). Condition of the second floor lobby ceiling was waterdamaged, peeling and looked like it could fall in. Breakfast was nonexistent. Did not have yogurt, oatmeal or fruit. Consisted basically of cold muffins, bagels and cold cereal.

I didn't have hot water my first night. The front entrance is also a little difficult to get to because it is on a one-way street and there is some construction nearby. Breakfast was what you would expect and nothing special. For the price, though, it was fine.

There is no ice next to my room. It's a little bit inconvenience.

Too much noise, couldn't sleep. Changed rooms and it was worse. Noise from next door, noise from Ice machine or A/C or something. Then noise from Interstate.

Beds/linens were clean, walls were NOT! Need paint or at least wipe down. especially around door handles/light switches. Staff was completely un-accomodating in regards to cleaning my room. They said I "had" to have room cleaned at least once during my stay. No prob. The third day I called in AM to let them know I was leaving for few hours since they had not yet cleaned room. They said they could not deviate from the order they cleaned the rooms. My room was not cleaned during the four hours I was gone. ??

Rather noisy, from the freeway and other guests couple arguing outside room and then in the room next to me. College baseball team staying overnight came late and were noisy for several hours. Outside beams supporting the second floor had termite or dry rot. Many of the help I need to talk to did not speak English.

This location was very convenient to the area I was doing business with. For an inexpensive room, this hotel provided all the necessities and the room was clean. Breakfast was convenient and adequate.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet even though we were close the the freeway.

This hotel is decent for the price. Other than this hotel not having a laundry facility for guests to do their own laundry & the bathtub drain not draining- It was alright. Breakfeast ends really early (9am)!

Clean room that meets our needs and the price is reasonable. Able to get to town and Hospital without much hassle. Enjoyed the stay! Had a problem with the hot water. It took a while to get the hot water to flow. Had to run the water quite a while for it to run hot. Room 103.

Great place to stay. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Only thing didn't like was the highway road construction near and around exits to hotel.

Friday & Saturday, breakfast was OK. Sunday morning breakfast was lacking ANY Juice, eggs, or fruit. Coffee was pretty bad due to the machine which uses coffee syrup & hot water. Staff were helpful and courteous. No places to eat close. Rooms were good but microwaves in the room would be nice.

As I indicated above the hotel is convenient to Doctor and the rooms are nice. Times before we had microwave and refrigerator in the room. This time there were none. Desk said they had been removed except for a few rooms. Breakfast is clean and quality is good.

Every time stayed, as always, clean-

This hotel was perfect! We were just minutes away from Carollton Plaza. They had a great Christmas theme going on. The kids loved it! Overall good place to stay!

Room was clean but nothing special. They offer free breakfast but very slim pickings. It was great for a cheap clean night's rest.

Motel was okay, nothing special but good place too crash on our way to Houston. The room smelled a little bit weird, but was clean. Breakfast was much better than expected, there were waffles, fruits, eggs, bagels, bread, muffins, cheerios, milk, coffee etc, all the basic stuff. So, very good quality-price ratio!

Pleasantly surprised. The rooms had external doors which I usually do not like. but the room was good sized, clean and fresh. It was noce for the area and top of its class. Ill stay again if in that area!

This hotel was in a seedy part of town.rude people and very inappropriate phone call from front desk wanting to know if we were staying over. We never did get back to sleep! Sleazy guy stared down my daughter and me till we get in our room.then he entered the room next to us. there was a roof leaking the the common area with water coming out of a wall scone. When I reported to the front desk they were rude and disinterested. Please save yourself done hassle and stay anywhere but here! By the way I an a loyal la quinta frequent traveler...no more.

This is a very tired old La Quinta. It is not at the quality of other ones that I regularly stay in. The neighborhood -- although safe-- isn't anything to write home about.

The morning breakfast was a nice touch; everything was set up and plentiful. We had to leave a day early because of a family medical emergency; the staff was very helpful in getting us a refund for the missed night.

It was ok, nothing to write about back home. Breakfast was mediocre and the woman behind the counter is unresponsive.

I was a little apprehensive in booking this motel, an older La Quinta, in north Dallas/Farmers Branch. But reviews were on the whole good. What I experienced was a very clean room with clean sheets, towels, etc. Well maintained older property, clean paint, walks, pool, lobby. At a very reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area. A friendly staff, not overly patronizing though. Wholeheartedly recommend this motel. Nothing fancy here, but you can park near your room, don't have to take an elevator inside. TV is flatscreen with cable. Shower is nice with great water pressure. Typical free breakfast, cereal or do it yourself waffles. Neighborhood is mostly warehouses and industrial bldgs. Right on 35E freeway, but not noisy inside the hotel. All the retail you want about 2 miles west on Valley View Ln to MacArthur street.
