Service and atmosphere were excellent, and my wife and I's only complaint was the beds that could have been softer. The staff was as polite and helpful as humanly possible.

Good things - location in South Beach although not on sea front, comfortable bed, good shower. Not so good - room very small and little storage. But worst of all was room lighting - just impossibly dark! Very difficult to read anything, do hair or makeup and a disaster for contact lens wearers! They MUST change this - other reviewers say the same.

Service was good, room very clean and modern. Close enough to the airport yet around the corner from South Beach and restaurants

Cordial staff and very clean and updated for what appeared to be an older hotel.

I loved the decor and the darkness of the room to sleep in, it has funny buttons to turn on and off the lights. However, impractical to find stuff and actually even look at yourself in the mirror. Little storage space. pool area was delicious and service awesome. Front desk staff very professional and corteous. Location excellent. I would totally go back.

The hotel has a confusing layout...no scene....mediocre door service...atrocious lighting in the rooms and to top it off wholes in their sheets It was a disappointing experience for the price point of the hotel.

Hotel rooftop pool was very impressive - service from staff was outstanding and the chef came out every time we were on the patio for breakfast. It was a great personal touch and his pancakes really are the best we've ever had.

Beautiful place. Everything was great. Only 2 issues 1) Not enough lighting 2) room is far too small

We loved the location. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, decor is awesome, and the staff were extremely accomodating. They looked after all of our needs. We stayed for one night prior to leaving on a cruise, and will definitely stay at this hotel again !!!

The property had a very sexy vibe beginning with the lobby. Room was very nice - small but sexy. Staff are ready and waiting to assist. The issue I had was lack of bathroom privacy. Glass doors do not allow for any privacy when using the shower or commode. I found that to be a big issue. Glass should be frosted or covered. We managed but very awkward for me. Can't imagine how we would have handled this if our guests who stopped by needed to use the bathroom. Dim lighting is challenging in the bathroom for applying make up. Rooftop pool area is fabulous but oddly enough no swimming allowed at night ???and yet the heat was on which made the pool very inviting. That was a problem for me. We swim at our own risk during the day so why is there an issue at night??

The room decoration and light fixtures are terrible. The cleaning lady arrived alway at 5pm. The hotel saves on soap. The pool is very small

Rooms are extremely small, but the hotel is very clean and in a great location.

Booked here for a few days, nice hotel, good location on Collins within walking distance of South Beach, shops, Lincoln Rd etc. Beware the rooms are very small - the toilet and shower are separate. And there is hardly any storage space in the standard rooms. The rooms are very modern and cool, but they do not have any views. The staff are friendly and helpful enough though. Would stay here again, but would get a bigger room next time!

Staff friendly and helpful, and a high standard set throughout. Unusual decor that grew on me oevr the weekend. Overall a very pleasant stay, location could not be better. Minor points: Lighting controls complex, and annoying that do not have any controls near bed so have to get out to turn off room lights. Storage space minimal, have to leave lots of stuff lying around on floor. No coffee/tea making facility, which is what really want in morning to accompany relaxing wake up.

The room is nice, but very compact. The lighting system is crazy and it take few days to figure out The hotel is right in the heart of everything.

Rooms are Plush but only for one.

Very nice hotel w/ excellent staff in great location. But the room configuration and design is bizarre, I felt like I was in an inside cabin on a cruise ship. :( Dark and not lit well, the lighting is so confusing and BLUE. To enter a hotel suite in the bathroom which is ensconsed in glass (yes the toilet in glass) is not what I call an impressive entrance. It's nearly impossible to put in contact lenses or put on make-up effectively in that lighting. The room was tiny, I think the lighting was to conceal this, but it didn't. The rooftop pool area was beautiful.

We were only here one night. Very nice hotel, looked like it had just been remodeled. BEAUTIFUL bathrooms and very modern decor, but it was almost too slick for its own good-the lighting features were too complicated (kept looking for the 'normal' button! Couldnt seem to find anything but 'glow in the dark' blue:( Also, the walls were PAPER THIN-maybe they should invest more in the insulation and less in the mood lighting?? I could hear a little too much from my neighbors). ONE GOOD NOTE-the gentleman at the door was extremely courteous and seemed genuinely proud of his hotel which was nice to see. Helped us get our bags to the room with a smile. They also had a VERY nice pool and bar on the roof, but it was raining for most of our visit so we didnt not spend any time there. Bottom line-if you're looking for a very slick ultra modern place and you dont mind noise or weird blue lighting, this is your spot!

Great ambiance in Art deco neighborhood. Room was small but uniquely decorated and superbly lit. Roof top pool bar and cocktail hour was very well done, and a great way to begin the evening as the sun went down. Marketing director came by and offered tours and history of buildings. Wish we could have stayed longer. Next time

This was our first trip to South Beach and we loved our weekend at Dream! The hotel staff went above and beyond, right down to the cool towel we received while checking in. We stayed in the sun suite, so had our own private outdoor deck with tv and huge sitting area. It was as big as the room downstairs. We also had direct access to the pool. Very convenient. The deck was a little noisy because of the ac units or something, but still great. The walls also seemed a little thin...Overall, everything was excellent. We would stay again for sure.

Very romantic and clean. A more optional natural light in room will make it outstanding .

The hotel is really Nice decorated, has great service, clean and with a great location to the beach and nightclubs. Fully satisfied and will definitely come back soon. The room is great for people whos looking for a romantic hotel room, the size of the room is pretty small but super comfortable. it has blue lights all over the room. makes it different and cool. Highly recommended.

A super-sceney hotel with a heart. The room overly styled, the walls were paper thin, and the sickly sweet fragrance in the room was oppressive. We actually had a room with windows but it still didn't help a ton with the dimness of room. This is obviously a hotel for the party-crowd that plans on sleeping all day (who cares about sunlight in the room when you're passed out) and dancing all night. Though I don't know how, prepping for a night out, the ladies would ever be able to do their makeup well in the room. The bathroom lighting is terrible too. Don't get me started on the light switches; they are maddening. But the service was out of this world! Every staff member was super sweet and helpful. The room was always well cleaned. Even the waiters in the hotel's excellent restaurant (Tudor House) were friendly and patient. If you're in south beach for the bulky-orange-people club scene, stay here - this place is perfect. If you're not, you'll be irritated by the room but you won't leave mad or feel ripped off.

Overall stay was good but booking through Hotels.com was not processed in time so it delayed my check in.

loved the location. Clean hotel. would prefer if they had little more space to keep our things like a draw or two . but was a great place

The hotel room is very clean and the cleaning staff do a great job of cleaning the rooms. The only downside about the room is the lighting. It is very dim in the room and it is hard for a girl to do her make up. Also there is no iron in the room but the staff will quickly bring it to you if requested. Lastly I don't think there is easy access to an ice machine but again the staff is great and will quickly bring it to you. The rooms are pretty small but you are ultimately paying for its close location to the beach and everything else.

Super South Beach location, easy access to beach. Hotel is funky, rooms are super small but probably cool; felt like a room on a cruise ship, but without a view...

Room is indeed small but adequate. I wasn't a fan of the glass door in the bathroom.

Excellent hotel situated in the heart of the South beach action, one block from the beach. Clean, modern, great bed, excellent restaurant with a top chef attached in the next building. Very friendly staff. The only minor issues are: 1. The ambiance in the room is great but putting on makeup is difficult as there is no way to get the light bright enough for that purpose in the bathroom. 2. They charge $7.95 a day for using beach towels and chairs even if they are not used. 3. They charge $3 for internet access which is a bit chintzy considering the room rates are not cheap. But yes, we liked it and would stay there again.

The rooms were very dimly light, without having any sunshine come in through as headboard was placed on to window.
