Baymont Inn and Suites Howell/Brighton - האוול

Perfect location for visiting family in Howell. Walking distance to outlet mall, clean rooms, great breakfast, nice pool and very friendly front desk staff!

This hotel is in a convenient location and at a reasonable rate. We stay here twice a year.

We stayed over for a shopping excursion. The hotel room was a bit outdated and there was not much soundproofing. We were woken up early in the morning by people walking on the floor above us, and from a hair dryer going in the room beside us. The continental breakfast left much to be desired as well. The waffle maker did not cook well and there was only lukewarm water for oatmeal. The hotel staff were great though, friendly and helpful.

I thought everything was very nice and clean, as always sleeping on a strange bed is a little tough on the first night. The bed was by far not the most comfortable, but it was not bad. The breakfast was included and not bad either. I was very happy with the location.

We stayed at the Baymont for 2 nights while visiting family over the holidays. The room was comfortable and the pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. The hotel is next to the outlet mall, which was convenient for last-minute shopping. The only complaint would be that our non-smoking room smelled like smoke, but wasn't overwhelming when the fan/heater was running. However, we got such a deal on the room (half the cost of other hotels in the area) that we never complained or mentioned it to the front desk. Would stay there again for the price.

Hotel was very nice, pool is small. If you are going on a business trip it would be great.

All hotel staff were warm and inviting. Liked being near outlet mall, Ann Arbor & Brighton. Perfect family trip!

Beds were very comfortable. Rooms very Clean. Pool was great. Will be back again.

Overall our stay was enjoyable. The front desk clerk was friendly and knowledgeable, even steering us away from a room by the breakfast room, but later in the evening her boyfriend was hanging around the desk. The room was clean, just some cobwebs in the corners of the bathrooms.

This Baymont Inn must be fairly new. It's in pristine condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the kids enjoyed the pool.

Comfortable, good price. Super bonus was that they opened breakfast an hour earlier because everyone would be leaving for the triathlon very early in the morning.

We were just looking for an overnight stay that would provide beds for five people. The room was conveniently located near the elevator, front desk staff was very attentive (delivering the extra towels herself!), the continental breakfast was very good, and the pool was an added bonus. The only suggestion one of our party had was to provide an adult swim after 10.

We stayed two nights, hotel staff was friendly the rooms were clean,and comfy. My kids liked the pool however it was a little small for the size of the hotel. My only complaint was on the morning we were leaving another guest walked in our room which did worry me.

When I first checked in I was given a room that had not been cleaned yet. After I took everything back down to my car and went to the office that receptionist was very apologetic and gave me a different room. Overall it wasn't a big deal, everybody makes mistakes. I stayed 5 nights and it was always very quiet and peaceful, would stay again.

Stay at this motel before.

We were looking for an hotel that was a easy drive to The University of Michigan and yet away from the busy-ness of the city. Baymont Inn in Howell was a great choice! We only wish we could have spent more time at the hotel as it was so comfortable, quiet, and had a great looking indoor pool!

Dirty, unproffessional, terrible breakfast.

We have an event to attend every year in Fowlerville and this year we stayed at the Baymont in Howell. It was a perfect stay for us - helpful, attentive and super friendly staff, conveniently located close to our event, and the room was very quiet. We plan on staying here again next year.

This is the first time we stayed at the Baymont Inn but hopefully it won't be the last. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly, the price was absolutely right. The pool and hot tub are was very nice and clean. I have told friends already those same things. Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend. There were 8 of us and every one of us feels the same way...Thanks again...

when booking reservation through Hotels.com I requested adjoining as I had 4 children, when I got there it was not listed to have adjoining room and only because I got there before party that booked adjoining rooms also did I get the 2 rooms together...

We paid very little to stay here, so the soft beds and small room were okay with us for one night. The woman working at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Once complaint: the hallways had a very odd and unpleasant skunky smell, so we were relieved that our rooms smelled normal.

The hotel was cold overall and our room was absolutely freezing.

We arrived 2 hours earlier than check in. We were allowed early check in without any problems which was great because the college football games were on and we did not have wait in a bar for the check in time. Everyone we dealt with was super nice and friendly. We will stay here again.

When we arrived at the Baymont, we were informed there had been a bathtub malfunction which flooded several rooms, 2 of which were reserved for our group, and all other rooms were booked. Prior to our arrival the management had already booked us rooms at the nearby Holiday Inn Express and upgraded us to king suites at their expense. I really appreciate that all arrangements were secured prior to our arrival and we were treated very politely and helpfully by the Baymont staff. This type of an incident had occured for me before at another establishment years ago and I did not receive this level of service. I think the staff of the Baymont provided exceptional customer service and I would book with them again without hesitation.

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday while visiting relatives. Overall we had a great stay w/ only a couple of problems. 1) The HC parking near the entrance w/ access to the elevator was very limited and typically filled by late evening when we returned from visiting. 2) The room card reader on the door accessing the elevator from the other side of the motel did not work. 3) The sauna was down for repairs. 4) The entrance drive to the motel was poorly marked w/ a small ground level unlit sign. These were all minor inconveniencies, but irriating none the less.

I have stayed at this Baymont many time over the last 9 years or so. In the last year i have noticed a definite slide in a couple areas. First my room had a really funky oder to it. And second the quality of the products available at the breakfast have definiatly slid. Overall the place is still a good value, but I have some concerns for the trend they are showing over the last 2 years or so.

If you book through hotels.com, just call the actual hotel 2-3 days before your stay because room requests get lost in translation.

Baymont Hotel & Suites was very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. It was close to the outlet mall. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff seemed very nice. The front desk clerk reccommended a great Mexican restaurant for us for dinner. The pool was great! And we got up early and hit the outlet mall.

This hotel is perfectly adequate for any short stay - there is nothing luzurious about it, but it will fit almost anyone's needs just fine. The surrounding area has plenty of shopping & restaurants, although the Howell area in general is much more expensive than all the rest of SE MI. If you can avoid staying in Livingston County, I would recommend it for a significant price savings (more than gas will cost you to drive the difference.) But if you find yourself here (which btw, is lots cheaper than the neighboring Holiday Inn), you will find it to be perfectly sufficient. It reminded me of the usual Travelodge, except at a much higher price.

We had a wonderful stay there even though there were a few mix-up's when we checked in the front desk staff got them all straightened out and went out of her way to make our overnight stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. I throughly love this hotel.

Front desk girl didnt know local establishments for food. Asked about a steak and a beer and she sent me to a western bar that was so loud we couldnt talk and no real food. Wandered around town and found our own less than two miles away. Room seemed clean but had a mold/dead body odor. Was so strong our clothes had the odor when we left. Bed was very comfortable. Best I have stayed at in a long time.
