the hotel works well if your looking for a nice clean family oriented South Beach stay. Very relaxing atmosphere with out the crowd that you normally see on S.B.

very nice and stylish hotel. however, some staff could be friendlier, specially the young guy at the pool. I mean it's his job to prepare your chair. One shouldn't feel bad for asking him to do so.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful. There were 5 of us staying in an ocean bungalow suite, which you'd think would be crowded, but two floors gave us room to maneuver. I found that the beach and pool attendant service was the best. The maid and room service were not as great. The hotel location is perfect right next to lincoln rd.

Had to move out of the hotel as there was a 24 pool party next door

The Sagamore is a wonderful boutique hotel nestled amongst the high profile luxury hotels of South Beach. The site is elegant, relaxed and sophisticated and the service team are attentive and pleasant. Take some time to wander around the hotel - the art makes for a visual treat around every corner. Virtually the only downside is the comfort of the pull out sofa in the suite - Sagamore managment - invest in some mattresses! The king size bed and linens were divine but the pull out sofa in the living area was second rate - definitely not up to the standard of the balance of the property!

good location, but everything in the room felt like it was in need of replacement. I stayed in a bungalow suite, which just meant I had to carry my suitcase up a spiral staircase to get to my bedroom. I'm sure this place was really something in the 80's but now it comes off as quaint at best.

very pricey ...Even if generally it wasn't a bad hotel....but the price vs quality is not worth it ( i paid 500 $ per night)

Room was well appointed if a little worn. The suite was worth the additional charge. Walls were thin but it was not a major problem. Location was nice as it was close to some great restaurants and shoppping. Overall I think it was good value and would stay there again.

beautiful, clean white room overlooking ocean; super comfy bed and chaise lounges; nice staff bringing (typically) overpriced drinks to us poolside, etc. Basically, covers all the creature comforts without going overboard in the conspicuous consumption department. If you want to be pampered, this might not be the place for you, but if you want nice spaced without the scene, this works very well. (That doesn't mean they don't have parties by the pool, but the lobby doesn't turn into a club every night either).

Great pool area Elevator was broken for 2 days and had to lug own luggage up 4 flights of stairs, Room has not been renovated in 15 years, NO water pressure whatsoever, for the price and star rating unacceptable

While the location of the Sagamore can't be beat, I was a little concerned that the hotel was past its prime. I was pleasantly surprised to find a well maintained and clean hotel in the heart of South Beach. I found the service to be excellent overall and enjoyed the fact that I had visiting out of town families on both sides of my bungalow vs loud partying individuals. Exceptional value for the $$, and will return.

Hotel was very clean and very quiet. Staff was very helpful.

The hotel rooms are clean and beautiful, I was provided with fresh towels and a Sagamore robe during my stay which felt like I was wrapped in Luxury. There is a wonderful guy named Gregory who works by the pool who was always cordial and courteous to me and my friends during our stay. The direct access to the beach from the pool was great! Will surely stay here again and again!!!

For those travelers who want something beyond the franchise expectations. Comfy and modern styling blends with a diverse collection of art. Love the personal touches the art quotes give the walls. Bed & pillows to sink into, a spacious and stocked bathroom (although nowhere to hang towels to dry) and plenty of room to spread out in the Sagamore Suite. Well worth the upgrade. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Muse Spa was the highlight of the stay and Ana gave an amazing deep tissue massage. Views of pool, ocean and then location by Lincoln and South Beach can't be beat. I will definitely come back to stay!

I was surprised to find at check in that the hotel had no balconies to enjoy/smoke on in there suites for the extream price I paid for 1 night. The art in the hotel was garbage for being called the "Art Hotel". Wasn't aware you couldn't smoke in the rooms at all or a $250 cleaning fee would be charged if smoke was smelled at clean up. The windows in the rooms are nailed shut so you can't even enjoy the beach breeze or escape in case a fire for that matter. I found a pubic hair in the bathroom tub which deterred me from using the jetted tub. Also got to love the handful of $10 waters, juices, alcohols, snacks, cokes, ect that were way over priced laying around the room. I have stayed in MUCH nicer hotel suites at the Waldof Astoria for only $250 a night! I only booked this room because it was walking distance from the event I came to Miami to see and all the other hotels I wanted were booked. Guess I'll be planning in advanced next time so I don't get stuck here again. But hey if your a rich non smoker you may enjoy staying here if all you do is use the room for sleep.

I went to the sagamore for location, kind of cool hotel, and the pool. All of the above were pretty good. The hotel was not that clean, common areas better than my room. Without being too graphic my standards for a clean bathroom are higher than what was presented.

if you are looking for a nicely priced hotel on the beach with really clean rooms, then this is the place to be. I have often been disappointed with South Beach hotels because of the feeling of damp, but the Sagamore was excellent for the rate that I got. It's close to everything and a great base for the area - close to shopping on Lincoln... The own beach was a bonus too

Service was superior. The Sagamore is seasoned with the uttmost superior crew in terms of consistently servicing the customer with the highest of standards. Staying at the Sagamore is a MUST. Romantic luxury + comfort + service.

For the money, I was disappointed in the room. It was very spartan, the shower was downright uncomfortable - and the staff failed to respond to two simple requests for more towels. Overall the location of the hotel is great, and I would rank the hotel as 3 stars for a 4 star price.

Poor experience .Very poor quality/price ratio Breakfast you should have in a 1 star hotel. Restaurant????OR Pizza Hut No amenities in the bed room . No atmosphere

The hotel staff was great, the lobby,and our room was extremely clean. we were steps from the beach and shopping.

Hotel has a great salt water pool and is an excellent location. Great beach too.

I have to say I had my fingers and toes crossed on the way to Miami hoping this hotel was a nice one. My flight was delayed 3.5 hrs and we did not get to the hotel until 3am. I was not in the mood for bad service or a crappy hotel. At checkin, Sagamore's Agent advise my checkin date was Fri., 7/23 and not Wed., 7/21. I almost lost it! It was late and I could barely hold my head up. I simply pulled out my hotels.com confirmation and handed it to the Agent. He immediately apologized and upgraded my room to a suit. It was roomy, modern, urban and very immaculate. The location was unbeatable. The pool and courtyard were extremely nice. The art made for great conversations. The lounge was a great place to hangout. I was highly impressed with this hotel. Yes, it's old and maintains it's original construction on the outside but inside is completely renovated and modern. I will not stay anywhere else on South beach. Thanks for a great stay! I have shared my experience @ Sagamore with all my friends and family. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff are excellent - warm and friendly, accommodating and helpful. I got a fantastic upgrade and they helped me organize my excursions. I was traveling alone but they made me feel right at home! The hotel itself is gorgeous with incredible art everywhere you turn - my favourite pieces are the stairwell paintings with the chair glued to the ceiling. What a trip!

Hotel is on Collins Ave, which is close to Lincoln Rd and other main streets with good restaurants and shops. Hotel is next to beach, walk to the back and pass the pool and you come out on the walkway of the beach. Gym is small, only 2 treadmills, yoga mats, weights & bench but treadmill has fan & you can watch cable on tv. Good shower head & tub with jets. Nice room decor & good-size small fridge. Fold-out sofa bed is uncomfortable. Good a/c. You have to call 30 mins before for valet to bring your car.

Me gusto el hotel, en particular el servicio de playa. La pileta es linda pero un tanto pequeña.

Très bel hôtel en bord de mer. Belle suite pour 4 personnes. Accueil + personnel très bon, piscine agréable.Bien situé par rapport à la plage et proche d'Ocean Drive. A conseiller.

Die Lage des Sagamore ist perfekt. In wenigen Schritten ist man in der Lincoln Street, einer Fußgängerzone mit vielen Shops und Restaurants. Allerdings waren wir beim Betreten des Zimmers zuerst mal enttäuscht. Das Zimmer ist zwar recht gross, aber alle Möbel sind abgeschossen, zerkratzt oder schmutzig. Das nächste Mal werden wir ein anderes Hotel in der Nähe wählen.

Det var ett trevligt fint hotell men jag hade förväntat mig bättre underhåll på byggnaden med tanke på vad jag betalade. Det var även väldigt lyhört. Förutom det så var var läget kanon, nära till shoppingstråk och restaurangerna. Schysst pool-område men mest barn som lekte där. Vi hade bil som hotellet tog hand om sk "Valet-parking" kostade ca 32 USD/dygn. Då det är gångavstånd till allt här så fick bilen stå där hela tiden förutom när vi åkte till Key West.

The Sagamore is a good hotel, however for the price I expected more. The hotel needs some renovations

Eine kleine sehr gestylte Ruheinsel im heissen South Beach. Sehr angenehmes und freundliches Personal.

Buena. Nada fuera de lo comun. Limpio y muy tranquilo

Emplacement de rêve face à Lincoln et l'océan. Hôtel de taille humaine avec service attentionné.Petit déjeuner simple mais suffisant. Pack Sagamore interressant pour petit dej, internet et plage. Attention la plage ferme tôt. Piscine joliment aménagée peu profonde et plutôt petite mais bien. Suite Sagamore très spacieuse et fonctionnelle seule ka literie d'appoint était defoncée mais pour un couchage d'enfant ça allait.

Vi missade infon längst ner i sidan om att de höll på och renovera hotellet. Borrandet börjar kl 08-18, och det låter som in i. Man kan knappt ligga vid polen heller av buller... Annars var rumment jättestora och fräscha. Häftig takpool, bra läge.

Ich besuche das Hotel schon seit Jahren. Zu den grossen Pluspunkten gehören die wirklich grossen Suiten und die gute Lage am Southbeach. Ich schätze auch die Poolarea welche nicht zu gross ist. Im Unterschied zu vielen anderen Hotels in dieser Area sind die Zimmer auch nicht zu ringhörig. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist langsam in die Jahre gekommen. Am schlimmsten sind die durchhängenden Couchsofas im Wohnbereich. Sollte eine Familie die Suite buchen, mit dem Gedanken dass die Kinder auf dem Bettsofa schlafen, ist dieser Punkt sicher zu beachten. Ansonsten kann ich aber das Hotel weiterhin emfehlen.

Hôtel très chouette, décoration super et très bien placé, proche de la plage et des commerces, grandes chambres, une piscine et un jardin très agréables. J'y reviendrai

Frühstück hatte genug Auswahl(amerikanisch). Suite war schön gross mit Zimmerverbindungstür zu dem Kinderzimmer. Schön dekoriert. Sehr gutes Bett, eher hart. Keine Waschmachine. Lage Top in Miami Beach. Nah an allen Restaurants. Beach sehr sauber. Leider mit Zusatz für W-LAN, Frühstück und Liege und Strandtuch. Abends gehen alle Gäste aus. Insgesamt ruhig. Würde wieder gehen. Preis Qualität Ok.
