it was quite convenient for my 10 hour stay. The room was sufficient, clean and the bed comfortable.

Room was outdated. Turned TV on, the whole screen turned RED after about 10 minutes and wouldn't go back to normal. Called the front desk (about 10pm) and they had no one who could look at or switch it out. (Old big box TV). So, watched a RED tv......

very accomadating staff,esp because traveling with dog.

The non smoking rooms smelled like smoking rooms. Misunderstood the free parking. Not free for extended stay. Shuttle was quick and efficient.

Decent place to crash for an early am flight. Shuttle starts at 4 am, close to airport. There's one 24-hour restaurant a few blocks walk away, otherwise just other hotels and a couple businesses. No elevator. Can't speak to breakfast or plumbing quality because we left too early to shower or eat. :-)

Great rates and the free airport shuttle was so convenient.

If you are going to stay here, don't expect a fancy room with amazing amenities. Its your standard Motel style rooms. However, the staff there are suuuper awesome. I was there for an audition and had a lot of special requests and they accommodated ALL of them. The shuttle, although often taking a while to arrive, will take you to many places and pick you right up at the front, instead of asking you to go to a special meeting point. They shuttle drivers are friendly and helpful. The front desk is great and always cheerful and helpful. I wouldn't necessarily come back because of the room, but I would come back because of the the staff. Seriously, they were amazing.

It was very nice. We parked our car and just took the MAX into downtown and the Zoo. No looking for parking! Also, the staff was amazing, super nice, very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful.

Well to be honest, the room was to hot, the air conditing barely worked the toilet when you flush it it wouldn't work .. I went to the front desk 3 times, after the third time the moved me to another room.. I think that i should have be comped but overall it was ok..

Extremely comfortable, clean, relaxing...Had breakfast in the hotel 1x and rated it as a 3+ but had to request more things from my server that should have been an automatic. I was the only one in their establishment @ 10am....disappointed in my server:(

All rooms require going up and down steps. The breakfast was a joke. It was supposed to be ready at 5:00 am. It was 5:30 at best. The 24 hour coffee also was not available.

We always stay at the Super 8 because of being able to leave your car while gone for less then a week. I was surprised at the change. We have not stayed there for a while.

appreciated the good service of the hotel check in person, the breakfast person and the shuttle driver.

The hotel was average but convenient when I needed to get to the airport by 4:30 AM. It was a short night as I checked in about 8 PM or so. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful when I had inquiries. Otherwise I don't think I would stay there if I had a need to stay more than 1 night at a time.

The super 8 is convenient for PDX airport, with good shuttle service. Long wait to check in at 8pm on Friday, but staff pleasant and helpful. Amenities are basic, but clean and comfortable, so good value.

This is a great place to stay if you are on a lay over at the airport for the night. The shuttledrivers are very nice as well as the front desk people. If you are a disabled person there are no elevators to the floors that I saw so this might not be for you. All in all as we were there for aproximately 10 hours it was a pleasant stay.

The free parking that you advertised was not free. The reason I chose this hotel was for the free parking and it was the least expensive. The room was on the first floor and smelled musty. The breakfast had only 1 kind of cereal and not many other choices of food for my family to eat.

I travel all over oregon/Wahingtion on business and have stayed at a few super 8 hotels and this is by far the worst. The staff seemed like they lived in the hotel, the room reeked of smoke even though I was told it was non-smoking. The breakfast they refer to as (super) concists of English muffin and butter and apple juice. I wouldnt recommed this hotel to anyone specially for the price.

The Super 8 Motel Portland Airport is passable if you're only going to be there for a night or maybe two. The furnishings and decor are basic. There is no elevator (as best as I could see) so you have to haul your luggage up/down a half-flight of stairs. The desk clerk was clearly inexperienced and flustered by a minor registration glitch; since she was the only one on duty, she had to call a central office for assistance, so the info she needed took 5 min instead of 30 seconds. There's only one restaurant in the area -- diner fare, so plan on nothing fancy (though they do have an exceptional assortment of desserts). The shuttle may take 15 min to pick you up. But it'll also take you to the diner (not easily reached by foot).

The hotel is very close to the airport and provides to and from free shuttle. The rate was cheapest in the area and staff was very nice.

Can't beat this hotel for the price. Tried other hotels when visiting Portland and that other hotel is only $5.00 cheaper but a piece of junk. This one was great. Only complaint was that the room smelled a little bit.

Helt ok hotel til prisen. Personalet er imædekommende. Området er ikke noget særligt, men det tager bare 20 minutter at gå til nærmeste togstation med forbindelse til centrum af Portland. Der er også mulighed for at køre med hotellets shuttle-bus til lufthavnen og tage toget ind til centrum derfra.
