Comparable to a travel lodge/inn , beds a bit hard and walls a bit thin, however this still offers good value for money, the breakfast is good enough and the bar is open until late. For around an extra £5 you can upgrade to an Executive room and then you get a balcony over looking the cricket pitch which is lovely even in the midst of winter. The metro is just around the corner with trams into the centre of Manchester every 12 minutes - best indian restaurent is Akbars in Victoir St close to the science museum - superb food
get off the tram at Deansgate.

Very pleasant friendly service & staff and a very acceptable continental breakfast. Bar area is very fine.
The Lodge is convenient for both Old Traffords & the view from our window over the cricket ground was excellent. .
Lodge is situated a few minutes from the motorway network and is a two minute walk to the Metrolink station and then straight into town makes this a very convenient place to stay.
We look forward to a return visit when there is some cricket to watch from our balcony !
