This hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has all the amenities I need for a business trip and its affordable.

Great staff, location, and building. It was the smallest room I've ever stayed in, but surprisingly comfortable and well designed and decorated.

It should be called "Close Quarters", given the size of the rooms.

We stayed in the smallest of the rooms, were we could berely fit our bags on the floor, but the room was extremely clean and in the heart of Chicago. Could not have wished for a better location. Would most definitely come back. Staff were also very helpfull at the door and reception.

Great location for anything downtown and the staff was wonderful. Only complaints are that the bathroom was so small it was impossible for two people to get ready at the same time and the bed was not comfortable at all.

We loved our room high in the tower. Bring your binoculars and enjoy the great views! There were only 3 rooms on our floor so it was very quiet.

Room was small but adequate. We didn't go to chicago to sit in the room so we shouldn't complain about the size. staff was very nice and helpful.

We were looking at staying at Hotel 71 because of the great location in the center of the city. We found Club Quarters right next door for a much cheaper price. The room was small, but we didn't spend much time there anway. If you're looking for a great location and are willing to skip the luxery, this is the place to stay.

Hotel is very convenient and well priced - single rooms are a little poky and probably need a good vacuum - windows do not open and you overlook the back end of the building next door. That having been said hotel is in an excellent condition, staff are good, the club room is excellent, its my 2nd stay at this hotel and I will stay there again.

My husband and i were in town for a convention and stayed here because of its location to mccormick place. It was a very nice hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downer was the room size and setup. It was very small and the tv was small as well. It was also in a weird location to watch it. But it got the job done as far as a place to stay, so id say the tv and room size is a minor detail. I would stay there again.

On arrival we were offered to pay an extra $35 to check in early even though our room was ready. We returned at 3 to find the smallest room we had ever experienced. There was not enough room on one side of the bed to even put a bottle of water. There were barely enough towels for the 2 of us and we are not wasteful! On checking out, we had to bring our bags to the 3rd floor where someone was overseeing the checked baggage in an emptied-out room. Other than the location which was superb, a definitely inferior hotel experience. This was a busy weekend in Chicago and alternatives were not available, but rooms of this size are ridiculous.

The best thing about it was that it was in downtown Chicago. Other than that, the room was tiny, cramped and had no view. I would not recommend.

I always stay here and really enjoy it. This most recent visit, my room smelled like smoke, which was taken care of after I complained about it. The keycards don't always work in the elevators or doors if they get demagnetized which can be kind of frustrating. Otherwise, a fantastic and convenient place with filtered water and coffee which makes all the difference!

Once you figure out the elevators, it's a. good value. Could use a TV upgrade to HD.

We have stayed here previously so we booked again. Convenient. Good price. Get more towels before you head to the bath, as you get 2 bath, one hand and one washcloth period for two people. Find out in great detail how you get to and out of the self park on a Sunday morning. It took us 45 minutes to get the car. The bellman had no clue as to how to get in the building which is 2+ blocks from the hotel.

Service was good. However the rooms were very small.

Literally in the center of downtown / river north - room was small but comfortable.

You can not beat the convenience of the hotel location right downtown and within walking distance of the CTA system. Club Quarters offers a very homey feeling, the desk staff is attentive and pleasant. We were allowed to check in at 11 am and they held our luggage for us both on arrival and departure. While the rooms can be small, they are comfortable and if you are just looking for a home base, its perfect. The lounge associated with each CQ offers computers and coffee, and we also enjoyed free wifi in our room. We also love the "water bottle to go" on each floor. For the price and location, this can't be beat. I would definitely stay again.

Right in the middle of downtown. As mentioned the rooms are small but very nice. Would recommend highly. Restaurant adjacent is really nice too.

Rooms are small, out of date, smelled like smoke, dark, unpleasant. People at the hotel are nice, friendly, helpful and it's in a great location- I walked to most of my appointments. Hotel 71 next door looked like a better option. Probably more expensive though...

This hotel is in a great location; walk to Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, House of Blues, and more. Our particular room was a little small, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The services offered are great; coffee and tea available all day long, free bottled water station on each floor, and luggage hold. Free wi-fi.

The amenities were great, love the filtered water, coffee machine and the ability to do laundry for free. Location was awesome, walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay again, great price for the amenities.

Fun to stay here

We stayed three nights. Check in was a breeze, hotel was clean and overall service was great. However, the no control of the temperature was real negative during our stay. Our room was between 70 and 74 degrees. We actually checked out a few hours before check out time because the room was hot. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to Millienium Park, Navy Peir, shopping on Michigan Ave and more. We actually walked across the street and caught a boat ride tour through Chicago and Lake Michigan. We loved the location so much we will definitely stay here again. But might bring a fan next time.

Right in the middle of everything. I do suggest you park your car elswhere and take the train. Parking is crazy downtown. Room was smaller, but clean and functional, and plenty of to go bottles in the hall with filtered water A+++, excellent staff that is VERY respectful.

There was no heat and the street moise sounded like the windows were left open. Asked for showe and ended up with a tub. Nasty looking strop of glue all over the bottom part of the mirror. Bad lighting and cheap uncomfortable bed linnen , pillows and mattrass

We stayed for one night and we had only good things to say about this basic business hotel. The biggest downside was that the standard queen room was small. The biggest upside was the location for sightseeing. We would stay here again when visiting Chicago.

The hotel (Club Quarters) is on a "2 pipe" system, meaning the A/C isn't available until the system is switched over from winter. Therefore, the temp of our room remained between 74-78 degrees (because it was warm & sunny outside). The first offer of "bring up a fan" was not acceptable so the staff did allow us to move to a different hotel at no cost (the River Hotel, attached to Club Quarters). That room was perfect (had A/C)--I just should have complained the first day there.
