Great Victoria Hotel - ברדפורד

This hotel was brilliantly located right next to the train station so ideal for us getting to and from Leeds. The room was lovely with very comfy beds. Overall it was brilliant value for money.

Great Room, good food and convenient location, free car park, Internet and easy to find location make this a definite repeat visit venue for me.

I had a poor room which tainted the whole stay. it was cold, wind blowing through the poorly fitted window moved the blinds (which didnt block out the light) and because the window didnt shut properly was noisy. When asked for a heater, it never arrived and the duty manager ignored my request for a call. I would avoid this hotel and the poor service overshadowed the plus points

Quiet, comfortable room round the back of an old-fashioned hotel, good value rate 4 months out. Only flaw was hard to turn down radiators.

Room was very small with nowhere to put our smalls as there was not a chest of drawers in room. Tv was situated on wall in bedroom & angle made it difficult to watch as the viewing angle was poor. The tv should have been in lounge area not bedroom. Location was perfect for being centrally located. Overall good experience

A very beautiful grand hotel in a prime central location with free parking that is a delight to stay at, the staff were welcoming and very friendly. I would come back again, many thanks to all at the Great Victoria.

The hotel is a glorious Victorian Building. High ceiling, original features, wide corridors, warmimg fireplaces and a charming revolving door. Recently refurbished it has the charm and cosines that you would expect from an old building and the modern comforts of a brand new hotel. I stayed at the higher rated (4stars) Hilton during a previous visit but in my opinion the service, comfort and atmosphere at the Great Victoria is better. Included in their rate Free parking and free WIFI (which unfortunately was down when I visited).I will definitely be back.

Very comfortable hotel, attractive rooms and public spaces, fairly friendly staff and quite conveniently located. When I stayed there in January 2013, the internet connection and outbound phone were down, over 5 days. This was an inconvenience. To the hotel staff credit, they offered to reimburse my booking and assist in finding another hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but would ensure prior knowledge about such amenities.

I remember the Great Victoria when it was the Great Northern. A majestic railway hotel. Today , 40 years it. Is humbler but it is a good place to staty. I arrived on a snowy Sunday night and the low glow of the lobby seemed slightly cold. My room was adequate but the hotel offered of BBC1 TV and wifi were not met. I took my evening meals in the R bar and found enthusiastic staff and good food . The next morning I complained about the lack of promised facilities and the Deputy Manager and staff were extremely helpful. A changed room was given and this was much better. Breakfast was extra but worth it. The hotel is being modernised but modern isn't always comfortable. A sleek black bathroom was lacking in light for a clean close shave. However location is everything and the hotel is well placed for travel and city centre. The hotel is a work in progress but my guess is that it will get there . I left content having experienced cheerful and helpful staff. I was proud of the people from the city of my youth and its still grand railway hotel.

The hotel could not be better value for money if it tried! The rooms are in amazing condition (some small, but fine for shorter stays) and must have been recently refurbished. The room had its own iron, ironing board (very handy!), TV, coffee tray... All in all I would recommend!

This is a Hotel very nice stay but the room I was in had no Air Con so I would hate to be in this room in summer. They have a few little things that would look better mainly paint work but that had no effect on the comfort of the stay.

A central convenient hotel. Our room had a separate sitting 'room' and the bedroom area was small but the bed beautifully made up.

I just wanted somewhere close to the station for an early departure the next day. What I got was a reasonably-priced, good-sized, clean, comfortable, room in which everything 'worked' in a characterful Victorian hotel with good service and a good breakfast (I had no other meals there). I accidentally left my iPhone charger in my room and for a £5 charge they sent it first class to me the day I informed them. Would stay there again.

Great hotel, staff get 11 out of 10, room was a bit noisy, could do with double glazing, we were at the front so you got the big clock chiming every quarter of a hour but OK, bathroom was very cold, but what we paid for a over knight it was alright (£27 )

I phoned reception three times to report that the lock on my door was faulty and i was told someone was on there way, this never happened and my friend ended up fixing it. The water from the hot tap was only luke warm, certainly not hot enough for me to take a bath and the bedroom lamp didn't work. It is advertised as having hair dryers in the rooms but this is not the case and I phoned down for one which arrived 50 mins later. Other annoyances were the fact there was only one key per room and you have to make a pyament which is refunded the next day in case you use room service. I went downstairs to collect a bucket of Ice and there was a fee of £5 if someone had of brought it up. I had to queue and get my own glasses from the bar which was a wait around ten mintues.

Great staff, looked after us so well thanks! Great place and just love it.

We stayed there for 2 nights, overall we found the hotel very good and the staff very helpful. Bed mattress of our room was not very comfortable, but when we brought this to the staff's attention they moved us in the different room for next night.

It's a great hotel all round. No complaints

Oud hotel maar schoon en redelijk onderhouden, prima ontbijtservice en uitstekende service en heel goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

locatie prima,op een paar minuten lopen van station.kamers zeer benauwd,warm,geen airco en klein raam kan slechts op een kier open.

This was much nicer hotel than I expected, definitely great value for money. The room was spacious and modern, and kept spotless during my stay. I'll definitely book this hotel again!

Allt gott att säga om detta...förutom att hotellfrukost inte ingick i...Ville man ha det extra blev det så dyrt att det inte blev värt sitt pris tyvärr... Men otrolig service i övrigt o trevlig personal.
