We stayed 2 nights to bike ride in the Catskill mountains. It was a great location and the price was ok, however the whole hotel smelled very bad. It was a cross between smoke, urine, and bad air freshener. When I got home from my trip, all of my belongings smelled horrible and I needed to wash everything that I had brought into the hotel. On the bright side, they were nice enough to get breakfast ready early as we had requested.

The front desk attendant was professional, but he seemed to be the only staff member. I had to pick up an iron and ironing board from the front desk myself. The room was clean although the grout on the bathtub walls was black with mold. In addition, the tissue dispenser in the bathroom was empty. The continental breakfast was pathetic, only serving plain bread, yogurt, and 2 types of cereal. Coffee, tea, and juice were also served. One other thing. We did reserve and get a nonsmoking room but the motel itself stank of smoke.

We came up to the area to participate in a bike race and didn't feel like camping because they were predicting rain. The hotel was fine for the price. The room looked a bit worn and could use some updating but it was warm and dry.

Cleanliness of room substandard. Otherwise OK.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and this hotel was walking distance from some great breakfast spots and downtown shopping, but not very clean or well-maintained. Linens were clean, thank goodness, but details like crumbs in the coener of the room, dirt/dust on all vents and bathroom fan, and hair in the shower made it a little icky. Bathroom fixtures were coming off the walls, so we couldn't even hang a toiletry kit. Even for a bargain priced hotel, I expect things to be neat and clean and in good repair.

We stay at the Kingston Super 8 often. It's convenient, friendly, and a great value, especially for our one or two night stays.

We stayed in this hotel just to sleep over on our way elsewhere. It is really conveniently located off the NYS Thruway. The room was clean enough, although there was a chair next to my bed with a crusty huge stain on it, not nice right near your head while you sleep. Bed linens were clean. I didn't like the mattress. Breakfast was a nice surprise, yoghurt, toaster waffles, coffee juice, cereals and breads, jam, butter, etc. in a comfortable room.

for the price you really cant beat it, great location and staff was very nice and helpful. plenty of parking.

Problems started when we arrived. first they over booked our room. i booked two double bed, we got one king size. so they gave us folding bed FREE OF CHARGE!!!!!! they screw up and than they give us free bed!!!! Our room had wallpaper falling off the walls. hallway smelled like an ashtray, our room was none smoking. We had late night at local bar and we slept in till cleaning lady woke us up. we asked for 10min to get ready. in 5 min manager was at our door telling us that we need to check out or he will charge us for another night. HOTEL WAS EMPTY only 8 cars in parking lot. whats the rush????? not a pleasant visit.

The hotel was very easy to find and was close to the downtown area. But, the room was very dirty - the kind of dirty that can't be remedied by the best housekeeping staff. There were rust-colored splatters on the wall by the sink that we determined might be blood, the carpet was disgusting, there was mold lining the space where the wall meets the floor. This hotel very much needs some remodeling/renovations. The king-sized bed was lumpy, pillows and blankets were too thin, and towels were stained (though, they were probably clean). Customer service was functional - the folks at the front desk were not very attentive and could not provide information about the local downtown area restaurants. I would probably not stay here again, unless absolutely necessary. To be fair, I'm the kind of person who has stayed in Sheratons, Ws, Hyatts, and boutique hotels all around the world, so I've had a broad base of experiences with hotel qualities. But, I've also stayed in plenty of Holiday Inns/Express, Comfort Inns, Super 8s, and Clarions all over the country. This hotel barely met minimum standards of cleanliness and comfort, and other than it's great location, doesn't have a whole lot more to offer.

The location was great, for one night, on the way to our skiing trip.The first floor smelled of smoke, and we were assigned a non smoking room, but next door someone was smoking. We did complain and right away our room was moved to the second floor, and that smelled good.Very quiet and comfortable, good for the price, although the breakfast was bleak,it was ok for the one time.I would recommend staying on the second floor if you do not smoke.

With the limited amount of lodging in the area, the hotel was very accommodating. breakfast was good for being a free/do it yourself breakfast. Friendly and nice staff.

Personal is Very friendly and nice... Sheets are a little ripped but other than that worth the price. Maybe a little more stuff in the breakfast menu will be great, but it was ok tho.

Pretty good for what you pay for. Continental breakfast a little slim, but at least they had one! Helpful staff and friendly!

2nd recent stay at a Super 8 and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality at this location. It's a good size hotel and tghe noise level was very quiet, especially for a Saturday. The hotel staff were very friendly and polite, which was not our experience at our previous Super 8 stay. The room was clean and bed (king) was comfortable enough for a 1 night stay. Not much counter space around the bathroom sink but the shower was great and very clean. We would definitely stay here again, especially given the low cost of the room.

We went to this hotel for a short Thanksgiving weekend getaway in the Catskills and have nothing to complain about. Check-in and check-out process was a breeze, breakfast simple but fresh, the hotel and the rooms were super clean and the price was a real bargain. Hotel staff was very curteous and made us feel at home, which we did not expect from a motel chain. Also the heating was working well and not too noisy which was a real relief given the temperatures outside. Well done guys.Only drawback: pillows are too hard for those who like me sleep on their belly.

As usual, this is a clean, convenient place to stay on family visits/ A little disappointed that we ended up in a handicapped room with only a low, hand-held shower head. was really looking forward to standing under a nice worm shower on my shoulders after a long, hard drive!

Our room was unremarkable, quiet, and completely adequate, the beds pretty comfortable and the pillows better than most. We especially appreciated that the window could be opened and the heating/cooling system could be turned off. Our only suggestions are that the carpet is due for a professional cleaning, and the two chairs are overdue for replacement. The hotel's location was very convenient for our visit to Rosendale, and easy to find. All in all, the price (inexpensive) was right.

Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. My only suggestion would be more and larger pillows for the king bed.

This was a suitable hotel for the price. Nothing fancy, pretty clean although could use new carpets and floor in the bathroom.

Hotel was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Suited our purpose for an overnight stay before our destination. Nothing special, but did the job.

Very adequate for a one-or-two night stay while visiting the beautiful Hudson Valley and the historic and picturesque town of Kingston as well as a convenient stopover on the way to upstate New York. The young lady at the front desk (Rebeccah) was very pleasant and helpful in recommending some of the excellent restaurants in the area. Only downside was that the continental breakfast could have had more choices.

The cob webs in bathroom didn't make my wife to excited, didn't completely refill coffee condiments for second night, not much of a breakfast, Brian at front desk was super helpful

I needed a place to stay overnight for a wedding. The hotel staff was friendly, and was very helpful in granting our request to check in early to prepare for the wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great, and even had a massaging shower head. The in-room coffee maker was a nice surprise. However, the continental breakfast was less than expected. Coffee and juice was great, but there was only cold cereal and toast available. I expected bagels and/or muffins. Otherwise I think this was a great place to stay. Easy access to the highway was also a great feature.

OK for the money spent Fresh food at breakfast would rent again.

We just needed a basic place to stay and this worked. Everything was fine. Room was very clean and pretty comfortable. The only complaint was the sink drain was slow and they weren't able to simply plunge it out or anything in the evening when we noticed. If you are not familiar with the area, this is a short walk/drive to the downtown area of Kingston, where there are a couple nice restaurants. Also close to a shopping center. Staff was very nice. Breakfast just OK, but again, for the price it was fine.

Good price and close to the Stockade Historic District and plenty of good restaurants. The only issue was that there is no elevator so if you have lots of luggage and you're on the second floor you'll be hauling everything up several flights of stairs. Otherwise a well-maintained inexpensive hotel.

The staff was great! The carpets in the hotel are disgusting. Carpet is cheap to replace and they need to look into doing it. Every time I entered the hotel through the back entrance door I said to myself I would never stay there again. The carpet in the room wasn't AS bad but it wasn't good either. It had cigarette burns in the carpet (non-smoking room) and I realize they can't just replace the carpet when someone does that but the carpets just look dirty/grungy. Needs new bedspreads too. Walls are super thin!!! Although the room appears to be clean it just feels grungy!
