Renaissance Fort Lauderdale-Plantation Hotel - פלנטיישן

I really liked the hotel. The staff was great. They really did their best to do well by us. Very nice warm pool and although the hotel is in a business area, you got the feel that the pool was nice and secluded. Very good restaurants nearby - we went to a bar/grille restaurant called "Bokampers" which was walkable and had a very nice lunch. The hotel is very close to the highway but our room overlooked a nice little lagoon. We totally felt safe in the neighborhood. Obviously, if you want a beach hotel, this is not the one for you. However, if you are a business person and want a place to stay not too far from Fort Lauderdale OR if you are vacationers who want a really nice place to park yourselves at night while you go about the town during the day, this is a great hotel.

ok hotel to stay 1 or 2 night (only to sleep)

Great location convenient to 595, turnpike and I-95. Certainly can't go wrong staying here.

This was a last minute trip, staff was great accomedating a room with king bed. When we got to room the a/c wasn't working I called down and they had someone there within 3minutes. He was very polite and had it fixed and working in about 10 minutes.

Great hotel, great people, but in an isolated area. Not dangerous, but isolated. Clean room, elegant lobby and dining area. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The hotel chain has recently been updating the look of the hotels to a more modern and contemporary theme. These hotels now feel much cleaner and relaxed. This location in particular is a great place to stay with many neat areas close by. The staff were extremely helpful in finding things to do and even set me up with great deals that I would have otherwise not been able to receive. They also helped me in choosing places to eat that are known only to the Miami area and have great food. I have to say, I have not had a better experience with the quality of the hotel and staff combined during any recent trip to various locations.

Incredible. Definitely my choice hotel for future trips to the Ft Lauderdale area. Front desk staff were absolutely the best.

Room was comfortable, and clean.

I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional experience the hotel provided. I was greeted by everyone like I was a frequent guest and the amentities were outstanding. Close to the interstate is an bonus.

Over priced rooms in an average hotel. $$$ for a breakfast buffet that was no better than free ones at other hotels. $$$ for internet services which is free at most other hotels nowadays.

We really loved it!! Hotel has excellent location; personnel is very friendly and eager to please the customer. Room was neat and very updated --loved the modern decoration. Will definitely come back again.

The Hotel was great. Spacious room, comfortable beds, restaurant in hotel. The services desk was helpful, particularly a gentleman by the name of Josh. He recommended a place we should visit and his recommendation was spot on - we had a good time.

100% satisfied from the greeting of the concierge to the comfort of the room.

Very impressed with the Renaissance Plantation. The staff are extremely cordial, courteous, and attentive. Starbucks bar was a real winner! Very well appointed lobby, nice outdoor pool and located very conveniently. Very happy and pleased with our stay. Although this is primarily a business-person's hotel, our family of four stayed here for four nights and were very well satisfied.

Our first night, the front desk person was not very helpful. However,on the second day and night, the front desk was great!. Rooms were clean and cleaned on a daily basis from the start. I have sensitive skin (and also prone to allergies), so this was definitely a relief! Staff was hardworking and prompt. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Nice and stylish hotel! Far away from beach but pretty close to Sawgrass Mills and Bank Atlantic center. Good breakfast. Expensive internet connection. Friendly staff.

We were pleasantly surprised! We have been traveling to the area for over 7 years and have never found a hotel that we were happy at. The Reniassance changed that for us. It was beautiful, clean and relatively quiet. The employees whether they were management, non-management, waiter, waitress, cleaning staff all greeted you with a smile and very willing to help with whatever you needed. They know what great customer service is and won us over. We had a situation our first night was quiet, however our 2nd night there was a teenage soccer tournatment in the area and they booked over 20 rooms, lots of them on our floor. We called the front desk to be moved to a quieter part of the hotel and they moved us no questions asked and did it with a smile! It was a little inconvenient for us, however the responded quickly and did it without making us feel like they were doing us a favor. They were very apologetic and offered us a free buffet breakfast the next morning to compensate us for any inconvenience, I was impressed. Let me not foreget the food, it was really great too! The lunch menu does not offer a lot of variety, however what is offered was fresh and tasty. The buffet was fresh and very good as well. We liked it so much that we have already booked our return trip in August! Thank you Reniassance for a wonderful weekend!!

I must say my stay at the Renaissance Plantation was excellent. I was married earlier in the day and chose to spend the evening at the Renaissance Plantation. My wife and I ate dinner at BIN 595 located in the hotel and it was excellent. The hotel staff upgraded our room and were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We spent seven nights in this hotel. It is a wonderful hotel, very friendly staff, the lobby is very well decoratet and the food and service is excellent. The only bad thing was that the first day they did not clean our room, the fourth day we had to explicity ask them to change the sheets an many times we had to ask for more bath towels.

Overall the hotel was in a good location. Many nice restaurants within a 5 minute drive, getting to North Miami was very simple and took maybe 20 minutes. The hotel was undergoing construction so there was often noise in the lobby area, the carpets looked a little worn but nothing drastic, still clean looking. The room was adequate in quality, bed was great but shower and bathroom felt cheap - yet clean.

Cozy, comfortable and clean hotel. Minutes away from shopping areas. Quiet and relaxing...

The hotel and resturant staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly. Located near the highway, but I couldn't hear highway noise. Safe for single women traveling. Near food, NOVA, and the mall. The pool was not huge, but it was relaxing and a comfortable temperature. There were no hidden fees. Located about fifteen minutes from the beach. This was my first visit to this hotel and I will be staying here on my next visit to this area.

This hotel was the best so far that I have stayed in Plantation. The location was right off the freeeway (no noise at all) and was so close to everything you need. The restaurant had terrific food and the room service was wonderful. You can't go wrong with this place. Free parking for your entire stay as well.

I liked the friendliness of the staff and the hotel is clean. The location was good for me because I was traveling North and South of Ft Lauderdale for business. However, I have a problem with extra charge being added to my bill at the end of the stay. The charges have not been removed as of today.
