Great location, VERY friendly, accommodating staff. Lajosh and Manuel at the front desk were particularly helpful. Breakfasts were exceptional and the service was amazing. Both Antonella and 'Radi' remembered our preferences every day. We enjoyed 12 nights and look forward to returning. Only problem was an apparent incompatibility between Apple IOS6 and their wifi. IOS5 and Android worked fine.

I really cannot fault this hotel. I was travelling with my 77yr old mother and we stayed here on two occassions. The first for 3 nights prior to departing for short stays in Prague and Budapest and then again upon our return for a further 5 nights. Everything appeared to have been considered to make their guests feel really special. The rooms, though small in keeping with the traditional style of the building, are extremely well fitted. The Nespresso machine was a lovely touch as was the chocolate left each day on our pillows! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfasts beautiful. I also particularly loved the original artworks very tastefully displayed throughout the hotel. We found that we could walk with ease to major sights and places of interest and it was never too far to find a place to eat i the evenings. Das Tyrol really made our trip something special.

Very lovely hotel near the museum quarter. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast. Clean, charming room. The beds are very low to the ground but comfortable. I did have a terrible ordeal with the taxi driver that the concierge called for me which involved me missing my train because he didn't know how to get to the train station.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel das Tyrol very much. The breakfast buffet was delicious and our room was very comfortable. Although convenient to some sights it was a long walk from others. However, the metro is nearby. We also enjoyed the free WiFi available throughout the hotel (including rooms) and the fun chocolates on our pillows each night were a yummy treat!

It absolutely is the best smelling hotel I've even stayed in. Elegant and unique little hotel. Spotless. Lovely breakfast every morning with a cheerful server. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay again.

My husband and I were extremely happy with our stay in the Hotel Das Tyrol. It was not far from the Westbahnhof rail station, even though we chose to take a taxi (under $10 euro each way). It was a short walk to the U-bahn and the Hofburg section. The breakfasts were fantastic with made-to-order omelets and my caffeine free expresso coffee. We were very happy with our superior room, which had luggage stools at the end of both beds. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I have been well pleased with my dealings with hotels.com. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Vienna and it would be our first choice if we should travel there in the future.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Room was very comfortable, clean and the staff were generally helpful The hotel's location is excellent: very close to the museum quartier and most other sights are easily walkable.

Perfect location for seeing everything and all within walking distance. Very helpful staff. Quiet and clean. Two thumbs up.

We booked two tours through the front desk. The clerk was happy to charge our room for the first but another clerk initially refused to do the second until he discovered that the first was charged. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

We loved this hotel! While somewhat pricey, it was still a great value for Vienna. The staff was really friendly and helpful - even calling the airport for us and fixing a breakfast early on the day we left. The room and the public spaces were decorated with modern art, and the air was scented with an herbal aroma. It was located close to museums and restaurants and within easy walking distance to the central part of Vienna. It was a classy hotel in a classy city.

Great looking comfortable small hotel. The service was very friendly and the staff was there to assist you in whatever you needed. Rooms were small yet stylish and comfortable. The hotel was close to everything. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was very good

The hotel staff was efficient, spoke fluent english, and were very helpful. The breakfast spread was well done and had a good variety of foods to select from. The hotel is also conveniently located by all of the major attractions and is very easy to get to by both cab and public transit. Also, the sauna is AWESOME.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years now and I only have great things to say for the people, the service and the entire experience. The addition a personal Nespresso machine in each room over the last couple of years was just what I needed to grade it at the top of my favorite hotels worldwide!

Lovely room, free wifi and newspapers, great breakfast, terrific location.

Room quite small considering price, and 2 singles put together rather than a double. But great breakfast, and very helpful and friendly staff.

A fantastic find in the heart of Vienna; beautful decor (practically an art gallery!), spotlessly clean and well-equipped rooms and delicious breakfast. Worth popping down to the toilets on the lower ground floor - they're quite something! Location is great too; right in the Museums Quartier and within walking distance of all the main sights. Would highly recommend!

Absolut one of the most lovely hotel I stayed

Beside of the great location we enjoyed our stay very much. The service was very kind, the breakfast was excellent - everything was great! we will definitely will back!

I cannot find anything negative to say about this hotel - they made my first visit to Vienna such a memorable one, and I'll forever remember that. Will definitely go there again, and again!

We spent 4 nights at the Tyrol over the last weekend of April 2011. The rooms are bright and beds comfy. We had a room on the 5th floor which was fine. Nice and quiet. We were left chocolates on our pillows each morning by the maids. The hotel's 2 main highlights - the breakfast and the spa will remain in my thoughts for a long time. The spa especially as you book the place out for just your party. So you lock the door from the inside and you have the whole place to yourselves. It is a special place.

Loved the Hotel Das Tyrol. Great location in the Museum Quarter. Clean, comfortable and good sized room. Amazing comfortable bed! Fantastic breakfast included with stay. Kind and helpful staff. Would totally recommend to anyone. We did not travel with children, though there were several staying at the hotel so they are welcome as well. If I ever return to Vienna, I would stay here in a heart beat!

Stayed for 5 nights in December- lovely hotel with unusual Christmas decorations and interesting art all around.Very convenient location for all the sights.Friendly staff who gave good advice re travel and restaurants/shopping tips.Clean room with lovely bathroom.Only complaint was it was too hot and we couldn't turn down the heat ! Buffet breakfast was excellent especially champagne every day......mmmm!

Hotel Das Tyrol is convient to all the major sites in the old section of Vienna. Staff was very helpful, courteous, and atttentive to our needs.

Super location and excellent staff. What a wonderful experience.

We could not have been more pleased with the Das Tyrol in Vienna. The hotel is in a great location, close to the museums and the metro. The room was small but big enough for two people. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent: fresh fruit, a nice selection of breads, meats, and cheeses, plus you could order eggs any way you wished. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay at the Das Tyrol the next time we are in Vienna.

フロントサービスが素晴らしかった。夜に薬が必要になったため夜間でも対応していただける近くの薬局を探していただいたり、コンサートチケットの手配も迅速で的確でした。部屋は狭く、ベッドも昔ながらのシングルベッドが2台、スーツケースを2つ入れると広げる場所に困りましたが、ヨーロッパの中級ホテルとしてはまずまずで、清潔感もあり快適でした。朝食はブッフェスタイルですが、卵はオーダーして出来立てを提供してくれます。（オムレツはふわふわというより固めの卵焼きって感じだったのと、生野菜の種類が少なかったのが難ですが…）スパークリングワインも飲み放題でボトルが空けば朝から惜しみなく抜いてくれます。利用する時間がなかったですが、地下に貸切サウナがありフロントで頼んで利用できるとのことです。立地もムゼウムスクウォーター駅近でどこに行くのにも便利でした。

Non c'è un'area predisposta per temporanea sosta auto per scarico bagagli. Conviene prenotare il posto macchina (parcheggio sotterraneo, sull'altro lato di Mariahilfer Strasse, di fronte all'hotel...molto comodo!) entrarci, scaricare i bagagli e consegnare il tagliando d'ingresso del Parkeggio alla Reception. Il parcheggio riservato all'albergo si trova al livello -2; si sale al piano stradale con un comodo ascensore, si attraversa Mariahilfer Strasse e si arriva all'hotel!). Tutto il resto è di qualità eccellente.

We stayed at the hotel 3 nights in January as part of a long weekend in Vienna. We were happy about the cleanness of the room, the size of the rooms and that the room appeared well maintained. The location was very good, close the the museum quarter and also with good shopping opportunities near by. The service in the reception was very good. The only minus was the service we were offered during breakfast. It was pretty average, and did not live up to the overall high standard of this hotel. I guess a smile, and a "how are you" would be enough to change this.

Superfint och lyxigt hotell. Centralt beläget på den stora shopping-gatan, med gångavstånd till många sevärdheter. Rena och fina rum, bra frukost buffé. Spa-avdelningen som kan bokas i receptionen är en extra bonus; rent, fräscht och med privat tillgång.
