When selecting a low priced motel "close" to FRA I was deceived by the stated distance from the airport. This motel is a EUR16.00 ride away from the airport. "No one has ever walked it." the check in guy said. It is 4.5km by highway with no footpath, not 1.5km as advertised.

Friendly and help full people.

About a 30 euro taxi ride each way from the airport, definitely consider taking advantage of the hotel's airport shuttle to save some money! Staff was incredibly helpful; I left my wallet in the taxi after arriving and when the taxi driver came back later in the evening, the staff personally drove the driver to the nearby restaurant where we were eating so he could return my wallet! The room was very clean and had lots of room. Breakfast brunch was great!

Even though this hotel is close as the crow flies to the Frankfurt Airport, it took us a 20 minute (which cost 22 euros) taxi ride to reach the hotel. If we had called for the shuttle to come from the hotel to pick us up, it would have been one hour before we could settle into our hotel room. We chose this hotel because it was the cheapest hotel close (we thought) to the airport.We only had twelve hours between our flights and needed a place to sleep overnight. It was not as advertised.

had to climb out the window at 4am to make my flight, as front door was locked. the light bulb by the door to my room was burned out and they had no qulified staff on duty to change it till next day. as result had to fill out the door to find key hole

1. Location: though the Hotel is next to the Airport it takes at least 20 min to get there. I paid 29 Euro for one-way taxi ride. 2. I was supposed to get room with "efficiency". Al I got is a little noisy refrigerator. 3. The hotel clerk tried to charge me for shuttle ride, in spite of my reservation form declared that shuttle is free. 4. There was not any toiletries except soap dispenser attached to the wall (like in public restrooms). 5. And the worst of all - I had to stay in smoking room.

The main thing to note here is that you will have to pay 35 Euros for 2 ppl for a return shuttle service from and to the airport. Also, it is advisable to book this shuttle service BEFORE you arrive. We had not done this and were left with the options of either taking a taxi for 25 Euro one-way or the local bus and walk. The service at reception is non-existent but the rooms are comfortable and clean.

I asked for guatented late arrival, yet when I arriveed there was no one at the reception desk, nor was there anyone on the premises to help me. Luckily there were two Germans drinking on the front porch, who were able to tell me where the keys were hidden or I would have had to sleep outside. The hotel left no instructions other than in German.

Close to ariport, sketchy neighborhood, light in room didn't work, bed smelled, but had toiletries in bathroom.

vcery friendly and easy going staff and management,also extremily helpful and eager to advise on local area and places to visit. my room was ready and clean .good for my requirement for overnite stay ,staff is multy lingual so it is good for travelers without German language.

The only reason we stay was they said "connected to airport" . They did have a shuttle van about a 15 minute ride. The staff was friendly enough, but the room was very moldy smelling.

We booked a room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), but the room had just one queen-size bed. This doesn't correspond to my idea for bedding for 4 people. But this was not the worst. German hotels seem to close their receptions and the receptionists go home in the evening, so it is up to the guests that arrive later how to enter their room. This happened twice for us in Germany. We arrived at the hotel late (around midnight) and there was a note on the hotel entrance door that the reception is now closed and there was a number for emergencies. Good, but how do we enter our room? We looked around and there was a automated check-in machine (Germany is very automated with machines, and is a human race disaster when it comes to human communications), which simply didn't find our reservation by name. We panicked slightly as there was nobody to help us and give us a key for our room. The hotel is dead silent. Then we decided to call the number for emergencies, and at that time we noticed an envelope with our key for the room stuffed under the check-in machine - not on a very visible location, especially after midnight. We were very angry - this is a typical German service - very automated, but zero human communications. They could have written one sentence on the door saying where they put the keys for the late arrivals... but this doesn't seem to be a practice in Germany - you have to find it on your own.

You can't go wrong with the price I paid, also I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room all in all a good 3 star hotel at a good price

From the call we made requesting airport pickup, to the courtesy of the on -duty person when we arrived, to the great breakfast, to the quiet, clean surroundings, this was a very fine experience. No, it wasn't a five-star hotel; it was just what we expected; no excessive frills, yet typical thoroughness expected of our German hosts, and a friendly, courteous attitude at every turn This was the kind of experience local German people demand and receive; I know this because I was stationed in Frankfurt in the US Air Force in the '70;s.

Shuttle had to be called for on a public phone, no information at the airport about the hotel, how or where to get the shuttle or even what their telephone number was, 20 minute wait for the shuttle, 20 minute drive to the hotel. Neighborhood streets deserted and most restaurants closed in the evening. Hotel overpriced.

1. Rates are not justified by location and facility of hotel. 2. No free wifi facility. 3. No good restuarants near area. 4. Little far from Metro station. 5. No final invoice given.

While traveling from Singapore with a stop in Frankfurt i needed an affordable hotel. I chose the Airport Domizil Hotel Frankfurt. To my surprise this was NOT located at the airport but a 15 minute drive from a shuttle that had to be called to pick you up, for an additional 15 Euro each way. The room was clean and the breakfast in the morning was good. But do not be fooled into thinking it is located by the airport. Enjoy

Pretty near perfect for an airport hotel. Clean, comfortable, larger room than you would get at a bigger name, chain hotel for the price. Only downside: pay for WiFi and no WiFi for your phone in the room. However, was told that, that would change in the future. Overall it was better than you'd expect for an overnight stop before you fly home in the morning.

The hallway was thick with cigarette smoke which filtered through the door. The bedding stank of cigarettes. If you like second hand smoke, this is the place for you. As for me, I will not return. Positive was fast, courteous shuttle service provided by hotel. Breakfast was mediocre.

Hotel is okay for an overnight stay. It was clean, the staff was relatively friendly but I was shock to discover there was a 25.00 Euro charge to the airport.

We booked a family room (2x adults, 2x children - aged 12 and 6) for an overnight stay before an early flight from Frankfurt Am Main airport. The room provided was perfect - very large in size, naturally split (without doors) into two distinct areas/bedrooms - one clearly intended for us parents and one for the children. The room was spotlessly clean and well supplied with linens, towels, complementary toiletries, etc. Internet access is by LAN in the room, with Wifi available in the lobby (like many, many hotels). The staff in reception on arrival were very friendly, efficient and helpful, as too was the lady when we left in the morning. You can tell a real effort has been made with the decor in the room (and around the hotel) - and it's the small touches that help give you the wow factor. The hotel is close to the airport (you can see the planes coming in) however it does take about 10 minutes to drive to either of the terminals. Parking is limited but there is plenty of streetside parking (which is nothing to worry about). The one - tiny - issue I had is that the soundproofing from outside wasn't the best and the planes could be easily heard when landing and taking off on the nearer of the 2 runways IF THERE WAS NO OTHER NOISE IN THE ROOM - that said, however, Frankfurt's new nightflight ban means that this is only an issue early evening so shouldn't cause anyone any real issues. Sound between adjacent rooms/floors was non-existent. I must admit, I am surprised to read some of the negative reviews here considering my experience of the hotel. I cannot comment on the quality of the breakfast or the shuttlebus, however the size and quality of the room and furnishings was at least comparable (and better in some cases) to hotels we have stayed in costing 3 and 4 times the rate being charged by Domizil. I will definately use it again.

The airport shuttle is by request and costs 15 Euro

I was only there over night, however I found the hotel to be quite comfortable and the staff was quite helpful. Rate was also good.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Had problem with internet connectivity. Could only get on--line from next to the front desk. The 30Euro "shuttle charge" came as surprise. Considering distance from the airport ,probably not unreasonable, It was just more than I'd been led to expect from reviews here. The neighborhood around the hotel seems safe and has several adequate places to eat within easy walk.

The shuttle package is a good value over-night stop for Frankfurt Airport. Prompt pick up after phoning the hotel, journey to hotel approx 15 mins. Only drawback, our room was missing a blind, although we could see the fixings for this, the only window covering was a thin net curtain. It was fairly dark in the morning, so luckily not woken up too early. Room/bathroom clean. Twin room was one single bed and a fold out bed, which was missing some slats, so my daughter fell through the bed when she sat on the side of it. Bed was too hard, pillow too thin for me, but I accept that everyone has different preferences. Breakfast was good. Staff polite and helpful, except receptionist who insisted that I had not looked hard enough when I complained about the lack of a blind. Would stay here again if needing an overnight stop at the airport.

The taxi driver to the hotel went around about way to the hotel that added 15 euros to the taxi bill. I told the driver he was dishonest and I feel the hotel should do some kind of complaint to the taxi companies servicing the hote.

The information on this hotel advises it is connected to the Frankfurt Airport. This hotel is out in the middle of nowhere about 13 miles from the airport, the taxi cost me 25 Euros. I asked for a double and got one bed and one rollaway. There was one small lamp that worked in the whole room. The construction started at 06:45 am outside my window. It looked like there was a scrap metal business directly behind the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

Just a place to stay if you have a car and need to catch a plane the first AM. No other reason to be there.

We felt the hotel was passable but not much more. The location to the airport was good, within 15 minutes. The breakfast was very nice. The parking situation was less than adequate. We ended parking in the street, which worked out OK, but make me uncomfortable. The room was very basic. The rug was worn and dirty. If you just want to sleep and get to the airport easily, this place works fine. It is not a room you would want to spend a lot of time in.

Over all the hotel was good, they provided trasport from-to airport at good cost. This information was not included in the advertisement, hence I suggest it should be included. TV in the room was old, that´s my only complain

The assigned room was not made up so they had to give another room. Most of the lights in the room did not function. The bed is a closet type with a tiny pillow. Great breakfast. They charge 8 Euros to park the car.

Has everything you are looking for: New, good beds, big rooms, bets service and clean. Good breakfast too.

The hotel van took us to the airport the next morning.

Good place. Great breakfast.

Although the many parking spots they claimed to have did not appear to exist, was able to find parking without problem. The hotel is stuck away on a side street, would have driven right by without GPS. Overall the hotel is nice and quiet, staff is friendly, room was cozy and breakfast was simply wonderful. The hotel is located within walking distance of supermarkets, department stores and restaurants. Would stay her again.

We stayed at the hotel to be close to the airport for an early flight from Frankfurt. The front desk guy was super great. We got lost getting there and he totally helped us figure out our way. He went above board to make our arrival after a long journey really pleasant and uncomplicated. He was the highlight for sure, it was so nice to have someone make a good end to a long day. The hotel itself is fine. Nothing incredibly special but clean, quiet, and comfortable. Easy to get to the airport.

Hard to find, with insufficient directions on the web page. Fortunately, I was at a meeting about GPS, so had a handheld unit that got me there even though I got off the bus one stop early. (20 min on bus 752 which leaves FRA on the half hour from the top of the escalator marked bus terminal. 2.40Euro ticket.) Their shuttle and fly deal might be good to look into. The room and breakfast were very nice at the price; above my expectations. Now that I know where it is, I'll stay again.

The hotel is very convienient to the airport and only 20-25 minutes to downtown frankfurt if you have a car. The room was clean and had a nice aroma. I had an early morning flight and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. A good value for your money.

It is a good place if you are just needing a quick night before you fly out of the airport.

Me and my husband stayed just for one nigth in this hotel, can just say all good things about it, staff very nice and helpfull, room very clean and brekfast fantastic , very good if you need hotel near airport not the est if you are on holidays in Frankfurt as quite far to the city center, if we will stop in Frankfurt next time will stay there for sure. Just small tip , if you wil take taxi from airport to hotel be ready as for 2.7 mile drive you will pay around 30 euro, but you supposed to pay 10-15 euro, taxi drivere very very tricky if you dont know the city so be ready :) Hotel once againg Fantastic!!!

Don't try to find this one on your own. Call for the hotel to send a shuttle, but once there, you will enjoy the clean hotel, and the friendly staff. Breakfast was a very nice traditional German variety. Be prepared to pay for the 'complimentary shuttle' service...6E was what we paid. I would also say it would be best to either eat before going or plan to eat there (check times for restaurant to be open). We were there late at night, and I did not see any eating establishments near the hotel. Enjoy!

The family room was well equipped and large. The staff provided exellent service. When our Internet connection failed to function properly, the registation desk disconnected their Internet access and provided it to us for checking our airline reservations etc. The hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean. There is an excellent Italian restaurant one block away. The hotel provided excellent value for an airport location with inexpensive limo service.
