This quaint centrally located inn had lots going for it but the service was lacking with a couple of exceptions

I was there for 5 nights and the room with a kitchenette was perfect for what I expected. It was clean and cared for daily. There is a lovely patio with nice landscaping where guests can relax. The location is convenient for using public transportation and it was easy to visit many sites. The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciate that the hotel is trying to conserve natural resources so guests may opt for changing the linens and towels every few days.

Older hotel without an elevator. Had requested a room on the first floor but since our arrival was late had to have a room on the 3rd floor. When we arrived, Willie, the desk clerk was getting off his shift but he was so nice that he brought our two big bags up the three flights of stairs for us. Rooms were comfortable and clean. There is a grocery store/deli one block away that is fantastic.

I had very favorable interactions with helpful hotel staff. I appreciate that they found me a relatively quiet room on the courtyard. The kitchenette is well supplied and the bathroom toiletries are of nice quality. The room itself was clean and the shower worked well. The location was very helpful for my purposes. Downsides? No elevator. Ice machine three flights away. The key stuck in the door lock, and gentle coaxing took a long time to set the key free. The bed had no mattress cover between the bottom sheet and the mattress, and the bottom sheet came away from its mattress corners in the middle of the night. Because it was the only way to dehumidify the room I had windows open, and unfortunately, it seems the Inn is right beneath some airline flight path. Overall, I liked the charm of this Inn, and I found the staff to be courteous and efficient, but I didn't sleep well this time.

pleasant staff and nice location

No elevator. Not for elderly or physically challenged. Old, musky, cheap. Close to Key arena. Nice staff.

Location was very close to the must see sights in Seattle Center and Downtown area; public transportation is accessible and easy to find; nearby restaurants, Starbucks, and a grocery store less than a block away from the hotel. No elevators; room was clean but the hotel needs upkeep/ upgrade.

When I first booked the room I was a bit worries that it would be too far away from all that seattle has to offer. But we were actually just a 5 min walk from the EMP museum, space needle, and the monorail that would take you downtown,and within wlaking distance of Pikes Place. The first thing is that they did let us check in early which was pretty awesome because we got there 2 hours earlier than expected. Once we got to our room it smelled like it had been soaked with bleach. I brought my 7 month old and had to make sure to open the windows and turn on fans andaircondition first thing the smell was still present 4 hrs later. For some reason when we tried calling the lobby from our room there was never a answer and we tried about 6 times throughout or 4 day stay. So we had to go down from the 3rd floor baby in hand down stairs due to there are no elevators available to ask for extra toilet paper, or dish soap etc. I will prob stay there again because of the location, and the room matched what I paid for.

When I got to the counter the clerk was on the phone with someone who was complaining about being over charged. I checked in and for some reason decided to check my bank avvount and I was double charged too! The ros are old and need to be updated.

The hotel is definitely in need of upgrades. That being said, the price is right, the staff is super friendly, and the area is nice with lots of restaurants. The walk to downtown is long but there is a lot to look at along the way.

What a wonderful little hotel! I loved the location, the atmosphere and the price. The only complaint I have is the beds need to be updated and the ceiling above the tub needs to be painted and or cleaned as it looked a bit moldy. I was also not happy that I was charged tax in addition to the $15 parking fee. But all in all I would go there again.

We only stayed for one night, but the serves was great. Of course it's not the nicest hotel I've been in, but it's a very old hotel. So for what it is they kept it very clean. There are no elevators... This is walking distance from the Key Arena! & many dining options! 6 mins from Pikes Place Market & downtown shopping! I loved that.

There was NO close parking, and the paid parking I had to use was very expensive and very inconvienient. The room was clean and in a semi-secure building, the staff was friendly but that is it. There is public transportation accross the street and believe me, a person wants to use it. Overall I will not stay there again.

Location great, kitchenette great. However throughout the hotel there was an odd smell which we could not work out. both in the room and hallways it just smelt odd, not bad. But it made you want to open a window each day. other than that clean and tidy and good place to stay !

Loved the hotel. staff very accommodating

This hotel is a great little historic place to stay in Seattle. There are no elevators due to the age of the hotel, but we stayed on the 2nd floor and didn't have an issue. The staff is very friendly. The rooms all have kitchenettes and with the proximity to Pike's Place Market it was wonderful to be able to a cook farm-fresh breakfast every morning.

Quaint hotel, reminded us of European hotels. staff at check in were friendly but our room was next to the check in area and the night staff talked most of the night interupting our ability to sleep.

We stay here at least once a year because the location is terrific for things we enjoy-- the ballet, downtown, restaurants, and such. The property is old and we've come to expect the basics they provide as being 'what it is and no more.' The place is clean-- though tired and in need of some upgrades. Specifically, how about some new carpets in the hallways and stairs and new beds for next year-- seriously, those beds have GOT to go... it's time!

Third time we've stayed at the Inn, all three times due to seeing concerts at Key Arena. Inn has great location, very friendly staff, cozy feel and great price for my needs! Loved my experiences there.

We have stayed here before; great location and nice neighbourhood. Perfect for a one or two day stay.

For my stay in Seattle this was a good affordable place to stay close to some good eats and great coffee. The staff was fine nothing special but courteous. The room was nice and very spacious. The towels in the bathroom were hard as rocks though and the shower/ tub got the floor very wet if you weren't careful. I thought it was strange that there was a stove and a microwave but no coffee maker. But overall great if you just need a place to come back to and rest up before venturing out into Seattle.

The hotel was disappointing to say the least. Don"t expect much from this establishment and you won"t be let down. Room was outdated and in need of updating badly. The manager was not helpful when I made a request for a view of Space Needle. Called ahead to make a request on file days ahead of arrival,and still gave away my room. Even tough we got there at 11:00am that day. I would not stay here in the future and would not recommend this place to stay at. Noise level and price of hotel were rediculous. Save your money and stay somewhere else people please !!!

The bed, not the most comfortable; the heat didn't work but the room wasn't cold, just cool. The in-room kitchenette was fantastic, and the location is excellent. Good price, acceptable services.

Yes we knew it was an old hotel and yes we knew it did not have an elevator. I still was not prepared for the narrow stairs. The room was adequate and included a small fridge, microwave and kitchen sink, which we used to make a snack and cereal. It also had a two burner gas stove and very minimal dishes, utensils, a pot, and frying pan. The internet worked well, but it was a challenge to find enough outlets to charge both cell phones, and computers, etc. My husband actually bought an extension cord with several outlets at the nearby Bartells Drug Store and managed to work that problem out. The closet was large and walk-in type, with a pull string to turn on the light. The bathroom was small but adequate, however we did have a struggle with the shower water pressure and there was no fan in there. Parking is a small lot about a block away and costs $15 per night. We were delighted with the neighborhood as there were restaurants galore to choose from all within one to two blocks. Key Arena and the Seattle Center and Space Needle were all about three blocks away. The staff was pleasant and answered all questions nicely. They only give one key per room so we had to plan our exertions accordingly. The hotel was cheap and the location perfect, but I would probably try to find a different hotel next time simply because of the stairs. The hotel was adequate and we put up with the difficulties and had a great time.

Needing a marathon hotel for Seattle? This one does the trick and you are walking distance from the start and finish. They nicely put me on the top floor in the corner so I could rest before the race. Except for a drunk fighting couple (which is not their fault) it was great! Two Tylenol PMs fixed that! It's older, reminds me of when I grew up in the 60's and no big screen TV, but do you really need all that next to the Space Needle, we are a spoiled world and their big tube TV was just fine, plenty of channels. Great staff and very very accommodating and all was clean and a little kitchen too! For the price and experience it's a no brainer to go again in my eyes when in Seattle.

Didn't live up to our expectations. Second time we couldn't get internet. The floor had been shampooed, so rug was wet. But it was quiet, and great location. Expensive for what we ended up with.

Taking a leisure trip to see Seattle was one of the best things to do before moving. I found this hotel to be very comfortable and affordable. It's only a block away from the Needle and I found that it was very easy to get to places from the Bus Stop and Monorail. The hotel itself has a bit of its own charm and history. Queen Anne area is pretty clean compared to some of the other neighborhoods, and it was safe to walk around at night while exploring the streets. I'm typically low maintenance so didn't really need much from the staff. Based on proximity and that the room had a full kitchen (with pots and pans and a stove), and a fridge, I found the hotel to be very accommodating (with typical hotel service, clean sheets, etc.). There's also a good grocery store close by too.

Walking distance to everything downtown Seattle. Fun neighborhood. Queen Anne had a kitchenette with dishes, stove, microvave, fridge. Huge walk-in closet. I could easily spend an extended stay there. Slept well on the mattress, was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) so was quiet. Parking can get spendy when the hotel lot is full. No pool/hot tub, but would still recommend this nicely decorated throw-back hotel. Rates are terrific!

We stayed three nights during our first time in Seattle. The location is awesome. Walking distance to Pike Place, downtown, and waterfront. The very-nearby supermarket and surrounding shops meet all of your in-room needs. We bought things and had breakfast every morning in the room before heading out. The housekeeping was perfectly fine, and every single person on the staff that we talked to was incredibly nice and helpful. People here who complain about the neighborhood have clearly never lived in a city. Yeah, there's a little street noise, and you see a homeless person now and then--though, honestly, most of them are downtown. Get over it. It's a no-frills place, but it was perfect for our needs. The price is right, and the Inn at Queen Anne is a great base for exploring the city.

Location was great. Staff were great. Convenient to restaurants, Space Needle, museums, taxis, buslines. Hotel was rather dated, could use new hall carpeting. Price was good. Nice features included kitchette in room and a pretty landscaped courtyard.

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the atmosphere of the people that work their. It was very 30's themed which was awesome, had great music in the lobby, It's a perfect place for someone who doesn't need all the extra amenities like a pool and such. It is definitely a place I would stay again and definitely recommend to a friend. One thing, there is a pub I think it was called mc Hughes or something like that which is right around the corner from the hotel, I would recommend not choosing that place to eat. It had horrible service and the food was awful. We informed the server (who we only saw twice while sitting there) that it was horrible and it was obvious cause we didn't eat any of it yet we were still charged for it. Very disappointing. But all in all the hotel is wonderful, very glad for the decision to stay at the Inn at Queen Anne.

Perfect location, price, etc. Room not very comfortable! This hotel/motel is perfect if you only plan to stay a couple of nights in the area and are planning on spending most of your time NOT in your room. The room was very worn/old, ours was next to the stairs going up to the second floor (= lots of traffic, VERY little sleep). Walls are super thin and there is constant loud noise from traffic or other guests. The room was hot (this was November) and stuffy, had a moldy smell and there were constant sounds from the bathroom (next to the bed) when other guests flushed the toilet or used water. The location is fantastic and I would stay again. I just wouldn't bring a romantic partner to this place! PS. The independent movie theater around the corner is well worth a visit!

Shopping is just 1 block away, open 24 hours and what a neat store full of wonderful foods. Pubs, eats, sights, sounds, smells of the sea, birds, and very nicely kept surroundings. Just minutes away from most everything and easy walking. Buses and taxi in front of hotel, monerail just minutes walk away. I will be back.

Very good hotel for the cost, would have liked to have had a toaster in the kitchen for breakfast time, but for the cost we had a very comfortable 4 nights stay, and so close to many must see places we could walk to them. Thank you to the friendly staff.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place located close to everything great Seattle has to offer. It is an older building and you will not feel like you're staying at the Hilton, but if you're reading this it's because you don't want to spend the Hilton price and so this is the place for you!

The only thing we didn't like is the $ 15 parking surcharge for a lot a block away down an alley. We were lucky enough to find parking on the street when we returned for the evening, as we were not comfortable walking down the alley or leaving our car in that lot.
