Comfort Suites Visalia - Visalia

Good hotel, Very good breakfast. Good service. I only thought hotel would have more space arround the building (photo gives that impression). But the hotel is surrounded by a main road. Did not bother us.

they were very friendly and extra helpful. i was in town for a basketball tournament with my 9,11 and 12 year old and was very comfortable.

Everything was fine. Staff was nice. Parking is close and free. Very good breakfast. Convenient downtown location.

Our stay was mostly good. It was the perfect location while attending a women's conference at the Visalia Conventer center. Parking was a breeze and the suite was very nice. The single elevator proved problematic for large crowds (not impressed that thr staff didn't know where their stairs were) and the check in was ridiculously poor. Three staff waiting on two people took 15 minutes. I waited patiently, with no acknowledgement by staff, only to have them turn to help another guest who had just walked in the door. Breakfast variety was very good.

Overall disappointed. Left phone charger in room when I left. Called a few hours later and they couldn't find it even though I told them exactly where I had left it plugged in :-(. Staff did not even apologize

No issue with hotel. But they need to discus with City officials why the dumpsters must be picked up at 5:45am. For about 20 minutes there's a dump truck creating sound effects you don't want to hear for all the rooms facing the lobby entrance. Very insensitive lack of initiative on part of hotel management to allow this disturbance.

The hotel is a little more rundown since the last time we stayed there. The jacuzzi has been filled in, disappointed about that. The breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly.

Great hotel for a quick visit and in need of just the basics. Comfortable, clean and friendly. Great breakfast options - only minor negative is a dreadfully slow elevator!

I always stay here when I'm in the area.....everthing from staff to buffet....its fantastic.....

We enjoyed the hotel breakfast. Jacuzzi wasn't working. The pull out sleeper couch too uncomfortable so we used air mattresses.

Great place to stay. The staff were all nice and the hotel was within walking distance to tons of nice small restaurants and the movie theater. We spent four days there and it was about an hour from Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. We really liked the small city of Visalia and we would go back and stay there again. The only downside (no big deal) was that the elevator was very slow.

comfortable, large rooms. The sink and frig were very helpful for keeping our cooler items cold during the night. We arrived late at night and the hotel staff member was very helpful and courteous. Excellent breakfast - best waffles ever. Very friendly staff in breakfst room. Will stay here again!

Although fourth of July, town was lie a ghost town. Only a couple of places open, one of which was Crawdaddies where we had a really good meal accompanied by live music. Saw great firework display in the distance. Receptionist not particularly helpful and when asked whether anything open, had no idea. Nice little town that can be seen in less than an hour.

Stay was very comfortable ... very good value for the money.

It was a very pleasant stay. Service was attentive and friendly. The staff went out of their way to please us. They even offered us a "manager special" a free light supper that included drinks and appetizers-hot and cold. We highly recommend this hotels to those who are on their way to Sequoia and the Kings'Canyon.

We staye there for 2 nights in order to go to the Seqouia park. Not a bad hotel at all, it was very confortable and clean. in the middle of town, you have to try the restaurant adjacent to it, they brew their own beer there.

overall the hotel was nice except for the beds.. too springy..so whenever my spouse moved, I moved.

I stayed for a conference at the hospital and realized it was at walking distance. The room was enormous. 2 tv's, a couch and a king size bed Breakfast was great. Very friendly staff.

The place was nice and clean. There was a small noise coming out of the shower head but that is the only nit picky thing I would add. Decent hotel.

This hotel is a great place to stay. It's in walking distance to a lot of places to eat and drink. They elevator need more care but overall the room and the Desk Service Jaun is wonderful.

I loved this place and the staff was incredibly helpful, I needed help zipping up my dress for a wedding I was headed to and one of the ladies at the front desk came up and helped out. I really appreciated their professionalism and willingness to help when I needed it. The room was amazingly clean and smelled like fresh clean linen.

Overall good place to stay if you want to be close to downtown.

we loved the hotel and the city. friendl staff, clean and big room. will stay here next time.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was really clean and comfortable and the hotel attendants were extremely helpful. I was very grateful to have a computer i could use on hand with a printer and the breakfast there was delicious. Only problem i had was the toilet was running very slow at times and the AC was a bit dusty as We turned it on we would start sneezing. But other than that the service and location was ideal for us to got to see sequioa without having to drive ourselves.

Nice location. Close to town center and shopping district. It takes though some 45 min drive to Sequia park...

We spent a night here during the trip to Sequoia National Park. Hotels closer to the park were already full (4th of July weekend!), and Visalia was the only choice left for us.Takes about 45min to park entrance, but the road is very easy to drive. Though there was a big event in the area that day, from service was very nice and friendly, rooms were quiet. Plenty of shower water and smooth drain. Location is also great in the center of downtown.

I found the hotel to be very comfortable and clean the staff was friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the value . And was delighted with my complimentary breakfast overall it was very enjoyable

Black water/sewage backed up in our bathroom. Management could not fix problem, nor did they attempt to reconcile poor condition of our stay.

The front desk people are amazing. It's their best quality. Parking good. Breakfast good. Room a little moldy/clamy. The room we got faced the parking lot/entry to the hotel and it was noisy all night. First, an engine reving at 10pm waking us all up. Then, a 2am bass filled song echoing throughout the lot and hotel side facing the interior. Any room on that side of the hotel will pick up the amplified noise. If you're going to stay here, at least get a room on the outside of the building facing the street.

We were there with the whole family. The hotel was not too bad. We are not sure about the location. We think it's not really save at night. But only for one night it is fine. The pool is very small :-(

Comfortable room for young family of 5 on a recent trip to Sequoia. Continental breakfast was much better than expected. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definately stay here again.

This Comfort Suites was old and a bit worn down, not at all what I usually expect from the Comfort Suites chain. Beds were uncomfortable, pillows were tiny half pillows, big haunching old school TV, ugly watercolor wallpaper...the list goes on. I wouldn't stay here again. Location was downtown which was nice, but that was the only thing I liked.

great location! walking distance to many restaurants

The tv's are so old & really need to get into the 21st Century. I will check out that item in the future before making a reservation and until it's corrected at this hotel I won't be returning to it.

For a local night out away from home, this property provided great location and quality. Walking access to restaurants and nightlife made for a fun night.
