Castle at Princeville - פרינסוויל

This is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo. Plenty of room. No hotel amenities. It's very dated and sparse but has everything you need for two couples or a family. Would be nice if they provided beach towels.

Beautiful view and sunset. Nice cooling trade winds through the rooms. A lot of dust covering furniture and counter tops. Otherwise clean and nice linens.

I had high expectations given the online pictures, price and location. This hotel was a big let down. The condo has not seen a remodel since the early 90's (or a complete cleaning for that matter). We purchased an ocean front room but only recieved a partial ocean view. The room was very hot and did not have ac or adequate ventilation. We actually had to pull the mattress from the bedroom and lay it on the ground near the patio door get decent air flow. There was no room service during out stay, but at least staff at the front desk were friendly.

Hotels. com needs to inform you about this hotel. First of all it is not a hotel. It is a group of condominiums without handicap accessibility. I had to walk up three stories to get to my unit. Secondly there is no front desk or sign to identify the office and it is not open after 5 pm or on weekends. I finally found my key in a lock box. The condo itself was not bad. Just get info before going!

This is not what they advertise. I thought I was booking a hotel but this is a condo with no hotel service. I did not get my room cleaned on a daily basis (service not provided), my internet and half of the electric outlets in the apartment were not working and there was no one to fix it during the entire stay. I paid for a hotel room and got a cheap vacation rental. I would not recommend this to anyone. For the money I paid go to a real hotel or to a vacation rental for half the money.

The situation in respect of vista was wonderful. The condo was very shabby and not completely clean. Facilities were basic and poor, ancient equipment and, for example, only three mugs. Reception was open only sporadically and this was very inconvenient, especially when trying to check out. The most disappointing place we have stayed in Hawaii having lived and worked here for more than two years.

I am so looking forward to my next stay at the Castle, I was very pleased with my room along with the spectacular ocean view. I thank Jaymie for her warm hospitality during my stay. Yes, I highly recommend the Castle very much.

The photo shows a pool but upon arrival we were told the pool was not for the unit we had booked but for the more expensive units. The location is good but you will need to drive a few miles for beach access since you are on a cliff. We had a lower unit and could hear every step our upstairs neighbor took. We slept with earplugs. Overall our experience was average and I think we just expected a little more from the Princeville area.

The condo we were placed in was older and slightly dumpy but we really enjoyed our stay. The dining nook had an incredible view of the surrounding mountains and the grounds, which were very spacious and well maintined.

My only complaint was when we got delayed and arrived around midnight, we spent the better part of an hour trying to find this hotel, as there was no sign "Castle at Princeville". Once we drove up and down the correct street about 5 times, we tried to go off of the street address only to find that we couldn't find many places that indicated their street number on their property. Resorting to stopping in every single complex, we finally stumbled across a closed office with "The castle" on the door, and were able to get our keys through a lock box. Office hours are from 9 to 5, and there is no help in trying to find this place….ALL that aside, the room was great, very comfy, very large, and a great location. We will definitely be back now that we know how to find it!!!! SUGGESTION: PUT A SIGN OUT FRONT!!!!

The unit itself was great. I requested a one bedroom mountain view and received two bedrooms, each with a living room area at the cottages (Rm. 101). We had a nice long deck in the back but there was no view. A forest right behind the deck and a lot of mosquitos. We couldn't use the deck because of the mosquitos and were still eaten alive by them. There is also no air conditioning and if I knew we had no access to the pool (which was across the road) I wouldn't have booked this condo. We will definitly never stay here again.

One of the tv's didn't work- the hotel explanation: "we know". The sheets were stained. The staff was invisible.

proche de tout, plage, commerces acceuil efficace et trés sympatique.Herbergement trés bien equipé allez y les yeux fermés!!!

Sehr schöne Lage, aber kein Hotel sondern Appartment. Dafür mit vollausgestatteter Küche ideal für Selbstversorger. Uns hat's an nichts gefehlt und würden wieder kommen.
