$30 per day fro parking was a bit steep. However, eberything else about teh saty was fantastic.

I have never been to Montreal, first trip ever and could not have asked for a better experience with this hotel...! Rooms are beautiful! Every convenience you need right there! Staff was awesome, friendly, very helpful.... Good work and I will return no questions asked, booking at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain!

This hotel is right in the middle of downtown. Tons of shops, restaurants, bars, etc.. within 2 blocks. If you are attending an event at the Bell Centre its right next door. The only minor complaint we had was the heat in our room. We like a cool room to sleep in but no matter what we set the thermostat at the temp never dropped below 72. Funny thing was we over heard some people who were on our floor complain their room was too cold. Like I said that is just a minor complaint. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Montreal.

One of the nicest hotels I've been at You would think its actually 5 stars not 4 it's amazing and the people working there were very helpful and nice. The room was comfy and clean and the hotel is very fancy

I guess because it was New Year's Eve there was a action at the hotel, saw some people getting arrested and a young couple on our floor arguing at 3 am about a dozen police officers in front of my door at 3 am but despite everything it was a decent stay, room was small but clean and tidy, bathrooms are extremely small

The hotel is great, service was fantastic, the rooms are very clean. The train station and the Bell centre are very close to the hotel, however, there are no restaurants near the hotel. Access to the metro and the underground shopping is super convenient, however the corridor leading from the metro station and the underground to the hotel is somewhat unsanitary, and smells really bad, but otherwise, our stay was great, and we would definitely stay there again

We had a great time here at this hotel. We did not realize that this hotel is in the heart of the downtown core. Because it was December, it was very cold, and the convenience of having the underground access to the malls and the central station was fantastic. The comfort of the bed was great, and the room was spectacular minus the small washroom. I had gotten the deluxe package which included the breakfast and h'ordevuers but I was a little disappointed that I had to continue to go to the front desk to get my coupon that I was entitled to free breakfast and snacks. The hot breakfast was fabulous and the room service were very nice. The staff were friendly the entire time. The amentities were terrific such as the pool and hot tub and the gym, didn't do the spa, but I would stay here again definitely. The Marriott chain never seems to disappoint.

We were in town for a trade show at Place Bonaventure. This hotel was literally a few minutes away in walking distance. It was also walking distance to shopping, restaurants, etc. The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was very informative, nice, patient and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others staying in downtown Montreal.

Overall I am very satisfied with the hotel for what I paid for. Bathroom was bit small but room was reasonably large and well maintained. Good location, good hospitality, and good view from the room.

We had an awesome time. We ordered in most of the time for breakfast and dinner. Both breakfast and dinner steaks are great. The chocolate lava with ice cream is heavenly. The service is excellent. Hugo the welcome staff is very helpful. He helped us everyday with directions to different places and recommended places to eat. The views are spectacular. If we ever go back, we know where to go. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping and places of interest. Convenient to all highways and even the airport. No complain, 2 thumbs up.

A relaxing stay with very very helpful staff. Staff not pushy, but there for you when you had questions. Starbucks a plus. Rooms set up nicely and our view was terrific. Location was handy to everything, with a little bit of walking (which we didn't mind). Thanks for a great stay.

Excellent hotel with beautiful views, about 3-4 blocks to shopping and restaurants, parking on site.

I loved staying at the Marriott, I think that my kids loved it more than I did. We had the most spectacular view of the city thanks in part to our floor to ceiling window as well as staying on the 27th floor. Next time we vowed to stay in the hotel longer to be able to take full advantage of all that it has to offer!!! We were steps away from the Metro station, bus terminal and train station as well as St Catherine street which was also a favourite of the kids.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend of August 25th. The downtown location of the hotel is quite handy and makes it easy to get virtually anywhere in the city quite quickly. However, overall we were not impressed and did not feel we received value for dollar. Here are a few things that made us feel this way: (1) You can't purchase movies from your hotel television and we couldn't even enjoy a television program because a modem noise kept going off every few minutes; (2) The curtain rail collapsed to the ground in the morning and we called to notify the staff right away but when we returned to our room at 5:30 pm to have a rest and shower before dinner it had not been fixed and we had to wait for the worker to return to complete the job he had half-started and left half-done in the room; (3) we were charged for two nights of valet parking despite having already indicated at check-in that we had self-parked. We received a refund immediately, but the inattention to these kinds of details made our stay at this hotel "nothing to write home about." Not terrible, but certainly not great.

I was there for one night , very nice room , very comfi bed , and great service. and ask for a city view it`s spectacular at night !!!

I booked 2 rooms one of them I was told it would have 2 king size bed uppon arrival we were told they didn't have a room with that accomodation only after hours of complaining they did come up with a room that was acceptible my question why say it was no room available but after many complain a room be came available .

This is a great hotel in Montreal. Great rooms, Great location and service. Third time staying there, stay there every year when I visit.

Hotel was clean and safe. We had a nice view of the river and a spacious room. It is about a 15 minute walk to Old Montreal not too far but not real close either if you are just popping out for a snack. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations on restaurants to try or areas to explore.

We took the train into Montreal and this hotel was a very short 5 minute walk from the train station. Nice hotel.

close to everything we wanted to see. We were able to walk to most of the sites of Montreal. The staff were helpful and communicated with us well.We would stay there again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations as I knew it would be very busy while I was there as it was for the osheaga music festival. The hotel was very good at controlling the amount of people in line at the front desk and were very well staffed. The room was nice with a great view. The only little kitsch was that when I got there, they told me the room want ready but immediately goin me another one that was ready. Also, being on top of the metro was a huge bonus and made the location extremely convenient
