I didn't leave the hotel while on my business trip, so I can't really address the surrounding neighborhood. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was good. The bed was very comfortable and the room seemed clean and well maintained.

This hotel had excellent service with friendly staff and an overall welcoming feel about it. The only negative aspects of our stay there was the lack of a good view from our room, and the size of the room, which could have used a microwave for all the leftovers we had from the great restaurants in the Downtown St. Louis area. Other than these small issues, it was an excellent experience. I will definitely consider the Renaissance Grand Hotel next time I want to watch the Cardinals in Busch Stadium (which is less than 10 blocks away, I might add).

I have ready booked reservations for this hotel for an upcoming ball game. It is reasonably priced, great location, clean rooms!! I have no complaints

was nice would stay again. only knock on hotel is the pool is small.

It was a great place and they had 7 foot showers. The hot tub at the pool was a little to hot, but other than that it was great. Go Cards...

Room was small but comfortable. Bathroom was huge! Staff was accommodating getting us a room with 2 beds (for 4 ppl) instead of the one bed room the site put us in. Parking garage was full and no other option was given by the attendant waving me off, yet they still put a self-park charge on the bill. The charge was removed without issue at checkout. Our view consisted of a couple of windows looking out at the rest of the hotel which had not been cleaned on the outside for months.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is nice. The room was just okay. My spouse compared the room to a motel. I'm not sure if we would stay again.

It was a nice place to stay. My HUGE complaint would be that the hotel was not accommodating to warm a baby bottle or baby food. Something about liability----sadly, we had to eat our meals at restaurants which were not at the hotel.

We were very unhappy with our stay.

We stayed in an Executive Suite, which was more than enough room for us and our 17 year old son on a spring break college tour. The hotel was near Pi (pizza even grown-ups will like) and Local Harvest, a must-try St. Louis restaurant. Our room was quiet and comfortable but needed updating and additional outlets. And despite the fact that our bathroom was huge, it lacked surface space for hair dryer and our toiletries. We had to call to get bedding for the pull-out bed and later a staff member called to see if we got it. Attentive or odd? This gets a B.

This was a wonderful place to be stuck in during a winter storm. I had no idea the weather was going to be so bad, the hotel made everything inviting while I was stuck.

My stay was for four days and I had everything I needed. Staff kept asking what could they do for me, all was perfect.

We visited the renassiance grand hotel on our family weekend vacation to St. Louis. The hotel staff were great , very friendly. The housekeeping person who came to our room did an excellent job. My children were thrilled with how the housekeeper put the blankets and pillow pets on the bed. Breakfast had a great variety but you will want to make sure it is included in your hotel stay. It cost for myself 2 children and my husband $58 for breakfast, luckily we had it included in hotel price. Pool is nice but smaller than most hotels we stay at. The room was comfortable but seemed small to have 2 full beds, a desk, a entertainment center, a chair and 2 end tables. Bathroom was very spacious, and completely clean. Negatives the bathroom door did not latch nor lock. The pillows were fluffy and comfortable for about 3 minutes. Then the pillows were completely flat and uncomfortable. I would recommend taking your own pillows. Overall great hotel !!

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are a tad small but nice and clean...I've never seen a cleaner hotel bathroom before,everything's sparkling white. Also loved the breakfast buffet...good variety, great food. The staff was also fantastic, from the front desk to the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again!a

The rooms were tiny, beds not as comfortable as expected, and TV was old n small...service was exceptional and hotel was nice....wish rooms were worth half what I paid!

We booked a double bed room. We checked in and when we opened the door to the room it was one king in a room not much bigger that a broom closet. Went back down to the front desk and they said they were out of double rooms but they had a hospitality suite. Got switched over and went to the room. It was a nice sized room but no beds. It had a Murphy bed on the wall and a couch that made out into a bed. There were 3 of us. Me, my son, and my brother. The front desk brought us a roll away bed so we were good. We went out for our days events and when we got back to go to bed my brother went to make out the couch and it had NO MATRESS. No MATRESS!!!! How does a hotel rent out a room without a MATRESS. Call the front desk and they have no other roll away beds or a MATRESS. They offered for us to move rooms again and I refused. My brother slept on the floor. The hotel did comp the room but it wasn't worth the headaches.

I was very pleased with out stay. The staff was very attentive and helpful with everything. The only things I didn't like we're the rooms were a little crowded, no safes in the rooms and not a whole lot of lights in the room. I would stay there again. Had bad experience at the restaurant located in the hotel though

Such a beautiful place! Door lock didnt work and staff came ASAP to fix it! Wonderful customer service.

Location of the hotel was great, but the rooms are a bit outdated especially the tv. They are still using tv from the 80 snd 90's.

2nd time staying here. Hotel is beautiful. Exceptional Customer Service. Very clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. The bathrooms are very big. Restaurant is nice as well. There is also a startbucks (always a plus!)

I thouroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was extremely comfortable and nicely styled. If I had one challenge, it would be that the hotel is not connected to the parking garage. That, however, is little incomparison to the excellent service I received.

I frequently travel to downtown St. Louis and absolutely love staying at this place. From the bar to the rooms this place has it all. Not to mention its a perfect location being right of Washington Ave with all the night life. Highly recommended.

second time my wife and i have stayed. both times have been great.had slight problem with valet not getting car in timely manner, so they comped valet parking.staff is always helpfull and friendly

Had good experience with this hotel. Bed was soft but comfortable. Breakfast doesn't start until 6:30 and there was no buffet so we went somewhere else.

hotel is in the perfect spot for the Rams football games, for out of towners, with the arch and other sites less that 2-3 miles from the hotel, The only thing is the restuarant was to pricey, and we went to the local sports bar on the next block.
