Inexpensive hotel, but we had a great stay. Big room, fit our large group very comfortably. Enjoyed using the pool and hot tubs.

The hotel wasn't what I expected real lack of decor in the rooms but tons of sleeping space. We moved the couch to enjoy the fire better and found a chicken bone underneath. Everything else in the room was clean though. The service was great otherwise. The one lady at the front helped us with the machine and went out of her way! I was enjoying a whistler getaway in good company so I didn't care all I needed was a room and a bed ;)

The staff was incredible. Our room was ready and they allowed us to check in early at 11am when we arrived! They also arranged later checkout to accomodate us. Less than 5 min walk to village. The two bedroom suite was perfect for 6 of us. The full kitchen was also extremely helpful. I would definitely stay there again!!

The staff is great, and the convenience of a condo-style accomodation make it a great pl;ace for a family vacation.

Lovely Hotel, my stay was wonderful aside from loud guests above us, and the snow plow coming through at 5:45 am in the morning! I would remedy this in the future by picking a room that faces the back of the hotel as opposed to the front. One of the hot tubs was not in working order.

Very smooth transaction! Rented the hotel only a few hours before. Great price! Very good accommodations! Will definitely stay at Tantalus again! First time user of Hotels.com... Awesome and easy to use!

Lovely room. We lucked out and got a very quiet area, no crazy partiers, but heard there were some on the other side of the building. The beds were super comfy, but the showers were horrible. The shower head was so low it was almost hitting my shoulder and the water alternated really hot to really cold. The hot tubs and heated pool were the highlight!

Have stayed other times good hotel,front desk very kind. Only neg is that they advised of 18.00 a day for car,I said no where on hotel website was there any info of auto charge. Very kind and they waived fee.

Very clean, quiet and nice place! Furthermore, the staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed it!

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The only downside is there is only one lift for the whole complex. In peak season this would be a major bottleneck and delay . The staff were very helpful and friendly and the internet access ($4.95) and parking ($18) good value.

Hotel is convenient. Within walking distance to main village, gondolas, etc. Rooms was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. Was a little noisy because there were a lot of young people, mostly mountain bikers. The pool was filthy.

Aside from the broken down elevator at checkout time, our stay was very good. What an inconvenience, particularly at that time!!!!!!

Stayed here recently with a group of 12 guys for a bachelor party. The staff was very nice and helpful, room was very clean, and the value was way better than anywhere else I could find. It is also a very short walk from everywhere you want to be in Whistler. Absolutely suggest the Tantalus, especially for larger groups.

We had a great stay at Tantulus Lodge. Our room was large and comfortable. Our room had a balcony that looked out onto the pool and surrounding area.The kitchen was well equipped with pots,pans, dishes etc. The only thing missing was paper towel, and plastic wrap to cover food. Our room was cleaned daily and was very comfortable for 2 adults, 3 children and 1 dog. We would definately stay again.

stayed here for the second time now and we really like the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom arrangment - much better value than 2 seperate rooms. Also like the jacuzzi and pool. Plus they let you park all day even before you check in/ check out. Main downside this time round was the built-in AC was not working - it was replaced by a single standalone unit which was not adequate considering the weather was hot.

overnight stay was awesome. Friendly and helpful staff. The only negativ factor was no AC. Temperature was around 35 degrees. We slept with open balcony door. Otherwise it was near perfect stay. Staff was helpfull in lending us an electric fan. Will come back again to stay in this hotel.

Very happy

The place was nice but a chalet for four adults it's too small. We had to move the table away for opening the sofa.

Was a very nice place to stay and very convienient to the downtown stroll...5 min walk. Quiet at night and rooms comfortable and roomy. We would stay there again. Good value for the money.

I've stayed at this Lodge a few times and have never been disappointed. Yes, it's a few minute walk uphill to the village but that doesn't really matter much if it means saving some money and having some quiet time. I would note that not having the wifi included is a bit silly but oh well. I also found some long hairs wrapped into the face cloth which was a little unnerving. However, besides that only instance I have always found the staff helpful and the lodge very welcoming

If you want to get any sleep, do not stay in Room #212 as it is directly above the ski locker, and the door slams very loudly and vibrates the whole room.

This hotel is a little tired looking on the interior but accomodation is roomy and comfortable enough. Room could use a paint job!

My family booked two bedrooms, and there were one queen bed and two single beds, and two bath rooms. Pretty roomy, but expensive. Seems their room types are the same. If you book only one bedroom, they would lock another bed room and bath room in the same room, as one of my friends who joined the trip together had the same experiense. Guest service was good and staffs are kind. Location is the end/entrance of Whistler Village.

Great location, rates, and very clean. I would for sure go back and recomend it to everyone.

Resort was very close to Whistler gondolas and had a shuttle to and from. Rooms big and fully outfitted kitchen. Heated pool and spa. Only downer was cost of parking (not advised) but cheaper than other places.

I was pleasantly surprised with our hotel room. it had everything we needed and more. I will definetly be coming back again soon. We are in the stages of planning an annual trip there every year and if we do the Tanatalus Resort Lodge is at the top of our list for a place to stay. Thank you for being a part of our fond memories in Whistler.

We were all completely happy with our stay at the Tantalus. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils needed. Very clean. Twice we called for kitchen and bathroom towels and were supplied with them in just a couple of minutes. Have stayed once before many years ago and would definitely return!

The room was as advertised but tired and looked used. The rings on the shower curtain were plastic and cheap. The bathrooms were in need of an upgrade. The location was indeed a close 5 minute walk to the rest of the village. It was awkward to have to walk across the parking lot to the pool and hottub. Parking cost $19 extra per day and the garage was dingy and dirty. Honestly, the hotel is about a 2 star in my book. If you have to pay a little extra for something right in the village, I would do it.
